I was very happy with the professionalism and attention to detail that both Greg and Ben provided throughout the entire process. A lot of the remodeling of my house entailed custom craftsmanship so the job required their type of experience. Not only did they do exceptional work but their communication throughout the project was phenomenal. I always felt comfortable asking questions and collerberating on the project. I would recommend 42 North to anyone who is looking to build or remodel the home of their dreams. Ben, Greg and the entire 42 North team will go above and beyond to satisfy their clients.

42 North built a new home for us in Fennville, MI. The home is a modern designed 4 bedroom ranch with unique features. We are extremely pleased with the final product but also were quite impressed with the process and the individuals we interacted with - both 42 N employees and their subcontractors. The customer service including communication and responsiveness is VERY strong - they really did make us feel like our home was their most important project, which is impressive given how busy they are. 42N came highly recommended and we are quite happy we chose them to build our home.

We absolutely loved our process of building a home with 42 North Custom Homes!!! This os our first home and will not be the last one we build. You better believe we will be calling 42 North again! They took our vision and literally made it into reality! I've know the team for over 2 years and when we were going to go with another builder they still answered any questions we had. They are honest, trustworthy, and have a very high standard when it comes to building. They communicated very well and their integrity is unmatched! We heard stories from people about their building experience and most were not good. Ours experience with 42 North exceeded our expectations! Ben and Greg and the rest of the team at 42North were fantastic to work with. I did a major renovation, going down to the studs of my house. The quality of their work, especially all the finish work; their willingness to find cost-effective solutions for the custom touches and look that I wanted; the quality of their sub-contractors, and the transparency throughout the process were all outstanding. Highly recommend.

42 North was very easy to work with from start to finish. They utilized a project management tool that provided a weekly update once the project broke ground. This tool tracked progress by subsystem including the schedule, financials, specs / selections, change orders, to does list, messages, etc. We found this very helpful because it gave us visibility to upcoming key decision, tracked spending and progress vs schedule, documented change orders including the implication to both cost and schedule. Bottom line this helped to eliminate surprises and miscommunications. Early in the project both Greg and Ben took the time to meet with us at various suppliers to help us through key decisions. As the house progressed we began to meet at the house on a regular basis so we could fully understand the details and provide direction. In addition, we had monthly meetings with Greg to review the financials and progress. Bottom line, we thoroughly enjoyed working with 42 North and would absolutely work with them again. Their attention to detail and the craftsmanship was outstanding. They were able to take our vision in many areas of the house design and reduce it to practice. We found their crew of guys very professional and personable and we enjoyed interacting with them throughout the build.

I have the highest praise for the quality of work, and the professionalism of their workers. I have used 42 North in the past, and will call on them for any future projects.

Our relationship began with 42North CH while viewing one of their 2015 parade homes. Although their wives met us with a smile upon entering the home, our impression of Greg & Ben was impressive and the connection was instantaneous! With many follow up meetings at our cottage, where our new home would one day be, Greg & Ben understood what "we" the owner wanted and hoped to achieve. They became as excited as we were. That never changed. They always listened to our thoughts and desires, understood our concerns and did their very best to "make it happen"! Being in construction ourselves for many years, we knew the journey wouldn't come without it's perplexities along the way. Every obstacle was always met with a positive response "we'll take care of it". We were always to the point if we had concerns, and they took them on with full respect and dignity. 42 North CH is a relatively young company that we are proud to be a part of their list of customers. They will soar and get better and better with each project because "they" are listeners. Rare in today's world.
