It was an absolute pleasure working with A-Digital Design on the house plans for my new home. For years, I have admired the design of their homes throughout the Baton Rouge area. I knew when the time came for me to build, they were the group that I wanted to draw my home. We first started with the floor plan and Mauricio understood what I was looking for and nailed it on the frist drawing! Mauricio's knowledge and experience made this process enjoyable. Then came the elevations...he exceeded my expectations again! The elevations are incredible. He totally understood my budget and made some great suggestions that really improved the look of my home. Throughout my career, I've dealt with many architects. A-Digital Design is the only group I have dealt with that understands deadlines! They never missed a deadline, were very responsive when I needed them and were early with their submittals to me! I highly recommend A-Digital Design!

In building & designing our home A-Digital was very professional. They went above and beyond our expectations. My wife had a pencil sketch. Mauricio turned it into a beautifully designed home. It is functional & more beautiful than we ever imagined. My wife being the picky person she is, went back for several revisions. I had the pleasure of meeting Mauricio when I built my garden home three years ago. The detail, thought and design of my home was "perfect" and no creative detail was left unattended. A day does not go by that I do not reflect on the enjoyment the home brings to me. Mauricio was very interested in working with the homeowner to meet their specific needs and to offer the best design, service and care before, during and after the home was complete. We met Mauricio because of his association with Carlos Alvarez, Son of the founder of Alvarez Construction. Mauricio took time to understand our needs and the first few meetings were spent in outlining the potential layout and efficient use of space. Subsequently he outlined the project in phases, explained the process and expectations. Through the entire process he was very conscientious of doing things in the most cost effective way while not compromising the aesthetics of design and quality. Over time we developed a collaborative working relationship. He was open to suggestions and bought in creative ideas to accomplish our goals. He incorporated those ideas and improved upon them in the final design. He is a pleasure to work with and is trust worthy. We would recommend Mauricio without exception.

After years spent attending Parade of Homes and open houses, I had a hand drawing sketched out and was looking for someone to help draw the actual plans. I liked several homes I visited that were built by Habitat Digital and approached A Digital for their floorplans. Mauricio generously shared several and though all were very nice, they all lacked some element critical to my vision. He was busy and I decided to wait on him until he had time to work on my plans and in hindsight that was the best decision. Once he actually started working on my drawings, he was quick out of the gate. He sent multiple drafts to help me envision the basic layout and discuss. I was stressed out and in a time crunch myself so it was a pleasant and welcome change to see the drafts and be able to request tweaks and ask about different approaches. I requested and got his frank opinion on options I was considering. That helped me make several informed choices. The entire design process felt very collaborative. Mauricio was a patient listener throughout and very responsive both via phone and emails. When we started working with him, we thought we knew exactly what we wanted; but as the floor plan evolved, we ended up making significant changes to our initial concept and Mauricio was a great help by sending updated draft drawings and even suggesting other ways to accomplish what we were thinking. Usually together we came up with a totally different solution from what we had started with which actually ended up being the optimal choice. He listened closely to my ramblings and expressed wishes and helped set them on paper. He never hurried me when I was thinking something out loud and answered the many questions I asked in depth and it was helpful to have German available as a sounding board on building specific questions. They generously shared from their past experiences and knowledge base and were quick to point out why something may not be a good idea within the scope of my project but never tried to steer me away from my intended goals. He was tireless and quick with providing updated drawings for review after every meeting or email / phone consultation and pushed to get the plans finalized in a timely fashion. When I couldn't make up my mind about a certain section of the layout, seeing his drawings was the best way to think it through and make the final choice. He was open to my non traditional design choices and pleasantly surprised me by applying some of my funky approaches to other areas of the plan that I hadn't even thought about but that looked cool and functional after he put it on paper. I had heard from other people about saving money by using a draftsman but I don't think I would have obtained this quality of work and excellence of execution so this feels like money well spent. Everyone who has seen the final plans has complimented us on the pretty elevations and functional design. I have great peace of mind knowing that Mauricio will assist with code compliance issues - if any crop up - as we seek HOA and city approvals. I highly recommend A Digital to anyone who would like to get a well thought out / custom design without having to pay an arm and a leg in the process.
