We the Hacketts at 105 Forest Ave are very happy and satisfied with the work Juan Ramos did for us today. He installed a shut-off valve inside the house for the outside water faucets, making it easier for us the shut the water off during the winter. Juan explained to us of the task he had to perform and took care of the issue. Very reasonably priced, too. Juan is a true gentleman and professional. We recommend him highly.

I needed to replace my drop-down attic stairs, install closet doors, as well as have a couple other door items taken care of. I keep old yellow pages and found AHR Design in a 2007 phone book. Anyone can put up a website and someone without much experience can really mess up your house. That's why I only call companies that have been in business for a number of years. Of the four companies that I called who came out, Juan was the only one who provided me with a written estimate with each item priced separately, which is what I had asked everyone to give me. I received the estimate and a timeline for completion within a couple days. I hired Juan to do the job and he came out to the house again to confirm each item and get a signed contract. We had to push back the date because the closet doors had not yet arrived. I've heard from many sources that, during the pandemic, the supply chain was not reliable. As soon as the doors were received, Juan called me and we scheduled another date. He and his crew arrived right on time and got to work. The closet doors were not what we wanted and, when Juan called the supplier, we found out we could not get what we had ordered. However, we worked together to come up with a solution and the result was gorgeous. I was delighted. Juan's crew were courteous, considerate, professional, and cleaned everything up. I will certainly contact AHR Design again when we have another project to do.

We found Juan after another contractor stole from us and left our complete home remodel a mess. After learning from that disaster, we were happy upon our initial consultation to see Juan pull up in a business truck with his license number already listed on the side of his vehicle. Juan and his company were incredibly professional and explained how they would complete each step of the renovation and assured that documentation was provided throughout the entire process. Juan's employees were always on time, were sure to leave the space they were working in the way in which they found it and promptly addressed any additional requests. Juan was in contact daily and abided by the deadlines in which he originally set in regards to completion of the project. Juan completed two half bathrooms, 1 full bathroom, installed a new staircase, a sliding back door, built a small deck, renovated our kitchen, and installed a butler's pantry on top of putting in beautiful molding throughout the house and painting every room and more. Juan's team was also incredibly trust worthy when it came to installing electric and setting up plumbing. Juan also was efficient in garbage disposal throughout the entire process so that the property always remained looking tidy. Juan also has great ideas to offer in regards to design, always taking your budget into consideration but is not pushy about it. We are looking forward to using AHR Design Solutions again in the future.

I would like to thank Juan Carlos for the work performed in my house. With the budget provided he was able to work things out. The front of the house looks more magnificent and the front door with the exterior trim using existing door looks complete different also he made the interior trims of the door. My family room was upgrade with recess lights and different set of paint. I am satisfied with the work provided. He was very professional and easy to work with, honesty was very important to me. Juan and his team at AHR recently completed the renovation of my foyer. Specifically, Juan and his team completely renovated our foyer, took space from our garage to provide more space and to remove an unsightly spiral staircase. Juan and his team at AHR did a beautiful job, making the foyer the most beautiful room in the house. In fact, I have on occasion just sat for extended periods of time in the foyer admiring the work. We had Juan and his team come to our house for a front door project and to paint a room. The work was fantastic. Our front door now pops! They were on time every day and cleaned up after themselves but the best part was the knowledge and creativity Juan has. His insight on how things can look before they are done is incredible. I had used AHR for gutter cleaning and they explained the work they did on home contracting and repairs. Since I was satisfied with the former I tried them for the latter, which involved a handful of varied external home repairs including roof repair, and internal repairs to the garage plaster board. They did clean work, and all was professionally done. They stayed on schedule and completed in a timely fashion. While there were some emerging changes from conditions found, they were reasonable in cost and completed in the same time frame as the original plan. They communicated everything, answered all my questions and responded promptly when I reached out to them. They also redid some work on their own that the site supervisor found unsatisfactory without comment from me. I would recommend them highly.

Juan and his staff did an amazing job installing two exterior doors and one sliding patio door with hew molding. In addtion, they installed a new ceiling along with crown molding and the room looks fantastic. We are incredibly happy we found AHR Design Solutions! From day 1, the initial consult, Juan and his team were prompt, professional, helpful, and creative! AHR design did a wonderful job renovating my house. I met early on with my contractor to describe in detail my vision of an open concept for our first floor. We recently had a problem/damage to our home due to a plumbing leak form the upstairs into our recently renovated kitchen below. The repair required the removal of the ceiling and the custom installed kitchen cabinets. Mr. Ramos of AHR Design came to our house on the same day of initial contact and had his crew complete the repair and the re-installation of the cabinets in less than two days. We recently hired AHR Design Solutions to renovate our hall bathroom (full demo to studs, new fixtures and hardware, tile etc.). They were recommended to me by Aurora Kitchens and Interiors who helped us with the design and material selection/purchase. Juan was knowledgeable and professional and the job was started and completed on time and on budget. He was great at collaborating with another firm and good at communicating when small things came up, for example, when we realized that the showerhead we had ordered was missing a bracket. He also cares about attention to detail, and when the decorative glass tile inset was wavy in a few places, he had it fixed to our satisfaction. On two separate occasions, Juan Ramos provided service in plumbing. Even though his specialty is remodeling of kitchens and baths, he is knowledgeable in all areas of home improvement. I had an emergency situation with my kitchen sink. Juan came on a Sunday to help, which to me is over and above. He knew that the valves under the sink were old, replaced them and really got us out of a jam. He also changed the shut off vales for all three bathrooms and fixed a leaky hose connection. Even though these jobs were small, Juan gave these jobs his utmost attention, he was on time, tidy and made sure everything was completed 100% before leaving. I would not hesitate to hire Juan again. He is reliable.

We live in central New Jersey. AHR Design Solutions was recommended to us by another contractor who had done work for us for many years. Juan Ramos rebuilt a deck and wheelchair ramp and rebuilt an outdoor shed/poolhouse. He shows great creativity in his work. i had to have a portion of my house remodeled for handicapped reasons. AHR Design spoke with me and drew up plans in accordance with the township...The inspectors were more than thrilled with AHR's work. They passed alll inspections with flying colors...and I have had more compliments on their work than i ever expected ! Years later, my sewer line collapsed and the plumbing company I hired told me that the designer of the bathroom really thought it ahead with the project.. I was so proud to say it was AHR Designs.. We hired AHR to re-do the kitchen in our 125+ year old house last summer and are very pleased with the result. Juan (owner) was not the lowest bidder, but he was competitive and delivered much more than we expected. The project was well documented was he was careful to keep the work moving on schedule. Juan took the time to help us plan what was possible within our budget and worked to find good solutions to meet our needs and taste. His team was timely, very courteous and clean.
