Balding Brothers is a full service Design/Build general contracting company serving the greater Wilmington area. We offer in-house design services for projects ranging from large additions to full house remodels and new construction projects. Whole Home Renovations from $350,000 to 1.5 Million. Historical Renovations from $250,000 to 2.5 Million. Kitchens from $50,000 to $350,000. Bathrooms from $50,000 - $150,000. Room additions from $50,000 to $500,000. New Homes from $550,000 to 2.5 Million. Estimates based on experience. Design Retainer required before a plan can be fully designed and estimated. Your actual costs may vary depending on the scope of your project. The Balding Brothers team consists of professional and knowledgeable craftsmen. As a small family-run company, we pride ourselves on our commitment to provide personal attention, complete customer satisfaction, and consistent attention to detail.

Working with Nick and Catherine has been a great experience! We remodeled our kitchen and installed new floors upstairs and downstairs. The whole team was fantastic, respectful, and professional. John, Chris, Chuck, Bryan, Steven, Amadeo, Cody… and the list goes on. We had a weekly meeting to keep us informed about the progress of the project. The result is impressive; we love our new floors and the kitchen. We recommend Balding Brothers at any time on any remodeling project. Hint: remodeling your kitchen is stressful. We got the grill ready, move the old microwave and fridge to another room, and put together a temporary "kitchen." Always ask what's next so you can be prepared! Think outside the box, changes are good.

We just had a complete kitchen renovation done by Balding Brothers. I am thrilled with the results. Nick and Catherine were great to work with. They made sure I got everything I wanted and understood the process. We were delayed by a hurricane but still finished in the estimated window. All of the subcontractors were professional and thorough. I am very pleased with the results.

We just completed a whole house renovation with Catherine and Nick Balding and are thrilled with the results. The design process with Nick and Catherine was so easy including 3D computer modeling so we could visualize everything. Catherine has exquisite design sense. She figured out our likes and dislikes very quickly and, together, they presented us with options we loved! It made the whole process very easy. Nick's extensive construction experience, knowledge and creativity were key to making the plans a reality. He and his crew are honest, hardworking and extremely skilled! The Balding team treats your home as if it is their own. We LOVE the final results! Catherine and Nick totally transformed our outdated house into the perfect home. We have found our DREAM TEAM of design/build firms.

We worked with Balding Brothers Restoration & Remodeling to convert a screen porch to a four-seasons sunroom. From concept through completion, Nick Balding and his team demonstrated integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to design quality. When the project hit an unexpected issue, he solved it quickly and skillfully. Nick worked seamlessly with our HOA, managing all the details to make our project a success. The final result is a new room that has become the center of our home.

Balding Brothers did a wonderful job renovating our master bathroom, adding on a master bedroom closet, and updating our kitchen. Not only were we very happy with the outcome of the projects, they made the renovation process more painless than I though possible. Everyone that came to the house to do work was polite and professional and they left the work areas tidy at the end of each day. We appreciated that whenever we had a question, Nick and Catherine were easy to get in touch with. They are very detail oriented - if we brought up a potential issue, they had already thought of it and had a plan for how to avoid/resolve it. They are not cheap, but it is absolutely worth it!

Baulding Brothers did a complete renovation of my house. They are very professional and so easy to work with. The initial projected time for completion was exact! The entire crew is respectful, honest, and trustworthy. All this, and my house is gorgeous! New kitchen with farm house sink, and barn door. (the door was Nick's idea) He, and his wife Catherine, are creative. She helped me with so many decisions, as well as doing a lot of leg work for me! She made sure everything was ordered and coordinated with the time frame. New baths, shower, added windows, all new hardwoods, beautiful new master closet, added some new doors and built ins for tv and storage. I could not be more pleased. Oh, and BTW... they dont drop you after its over with!

This is our second experience with Balding Brothers. We selected Balding Brothers in 2010 for a small kitchen remodel and were impressed with the quality of work. We hired Balding Brothers again this fall after purchasing a house in desperate need of updating. From concept design to finish carpentry, Balding Brothers delivered exceptional quality. Balding Brothers employees took great care of our home and were highly professional. We are thrilled with the final product and certainly recommend Balding Brothers.
