Bannister Custom Homes

We have had the most difficult experience with Bannister. We purchased a brand new spec home at the beginning of April and are still working on punch list items going into July. We had in our contract that all punch list items would be completed by closing and are still living with incomplete work. It is our first home and the entire experience has been tainted by the difficulty of working with Bannister. I would never recommend them to a friend or even an enemy at this point. Don't be fooled, this is Clarity Homes quality (low 200-300k price point) with a Bannister logo and price point ($600k-$1M) slapped on it.

Bannister Custom Homes did a fantastic job on our custom home in Westview at Parks of Aledo. We worked with a great architect, Ron Berg, and came up with a design that matched our vision. We wanted a classic French design with high-end finish on both the inside and outside that replicates what is expected for a true custom home. Bannister Custom Homes continually demonstrated quality “Customer Service” throughout the building process. Danielle Capper, the Sales Associate, worked countless hours to ensure that everything went as smooth and was as painless as possible. She and the Interior Designer, Samantha Welsh, made certain that our design selections were clearly communicated and that we would visually achieve a high level of satisfaction that met our taste and gave it more of our personal touch. They were both receptive and sought out ways to meet our specific requests regarding Shaker cabinets, true real wood beams, hardware, chimney shrouds, rooftop finials, lighting, flooring, etc. Randy McGuffey, the Bldg. Superintendent and Marshall MacKay, the Builder, were instrumental in handling the entire build process. Both were understanding and supportive to answer any questions we may have had. Marshall followed up with us and the various workers to make certain things were being done in a timely manner and to our specifications. Marshall was also easily accessible after the build process was completed to follow-up with any questions we needed addressed. Throughout the entire building process everyone with Bannister Custom Homes was professional, courteous, and accommodating. We just want to thank you and your fabulous team for such careful attention and would recommend anyone should choose Bannister if they are interested in a true custom home.
