I provided a general floor plan of the house I wanted. Blue Ridge designed and built a SIP shell sitting on existing concrete piers. The total construction (on-site) time was 2-1/2 days for the support beams and about 3 weeks for the SIP shell.

Blue Ridge Timberwrights provided materials and labor to erect out Douglas Fir timber frame for the interior of the house and the White Oak frame for the three porches. The staff was extremely pleasant and professional to work with and the workmanship and quality was near perfect. If we were to ever build another, I would use them again.

We have now done two projects with BRTW; our personal retirement home and recently the rebuilding of a 135 year old church. We started working with Blue Ridge Timberwrights in April of 2014, to design and plan for our retirement home. In August of 2015, in less than five weeks the crew set the frame, installed the second story flooring, roof sheathing and the SIPS. They then installed all of the windows and exterior doors. It was amazing to watch the crew work and to see our home be crafted timber by timber. We can not say enough good things about Blue Ridge Timberwrights.
