House to Home did an amazing job with my kitchen remodel! It is night and day from before hand. It is light and bright and feels like a new house! In addition to repainting the cabinets, getting new countertops and appliances, and putting in recessed lighting, they came up with the idea to completely open the kitchen up with a folding window that expands the kitchen out into the backyard with an additional countertop outside. This has been a game changer for us! Now our kitchen flows seamlessly outside, expanding the usable space. We are stoked!

John and Brandon, are definitely the best. I done a couple projects with them; and have been very happy. I’d definitely recommend them to everyone !!!

I was not at all happy with this company until they came under new ownership. The previous owner was less than forthcoming and made a lot of promises that were never kept. All of the other people here at this company were great to work with. We kept having to deal with repeated delays and different sub-contractors and it took over 6 months to build a 600 sq ft ADU. I had already contacted my attorney and was getting ready to file suit when I found out the company had been sold to Boss Construction. After Boss took over, it was an entirely new and refreshing experience. They jumped right on it and finished everything within a few weeks. The owner of the company, Brandon, was a pleasure to deal with and did everything he said he would do. The new project manager, Joe, that took over our project, was also refreshing to work with. He came out and saw what needed to be done and had everything completed within a few days. I would definitely now give this company the highest of recommendations. What started out as a prolonged and frustrating experience was turned into a pleasant one by the new owner and his team.

We contracted John Hayes with House to Home in December 2022 to finalize the design, selections, and plans for our custom dream home, which was already 90% complete when we brought it to him. From the start, the process was plagued by delays, poor communication, and unfulfilled promises. What should have been a quick two-month project dragged on for over a year, with John’s team consistently missing deadlines and providing excuses. Weekly meetings were unproductive as progress stalled between sessions, and work often had to be restarted due to lost files and staff turnover. The architectural and structural plans were promised to be finalized and submitted by July 2023, but they weren’t submitted until late August—and even then, the plans were incomplete, leading to immediate rejection by the county. Throughout this time, the architect, Arath Lara, was unresponsive, hostile, and failed to meet deadlines, while John Hayes did little to intervene or ensure accountability. On the interior design side, things were equally frustrating. Designers left the company, forcing us to start over multiple times, with little to no progress being made. Promises to have the builder contract ready by Labor Day 2023 also fell through, leaving us without a contract or any clear path forward. To make matters worse, we discovered that the $34,000 we paid for architectural and design work was being used to pay off other debts instead of funding our project. Subcontractors were left unpaid, and John admitted to financial issues when confronted. Ultimately, the lack of professionalism, accountability, and transparency forced us to walk away from the project. We cannot recommend House to Home for any home-building or design project. Our experience was a nightmare, and we urge others to proceed with extreme caution when considering this company.

Working with the team at House to Home has been nothing short of phenomenal. My kitchen came out great and I love the pass through window that opens up the whole space into the backyard. The entire process was super smooth. Everything was on time, on budget and the finished product is even better than expected. They will be my first phone call when we do the rest of the house. House to Home did an outstanding job on our whole house remodel. John, Garrett and the team were responsive and great to work with and we now consider them our go to contractors. The workmanship was excellent, and they kept us informed all along the way. We have two new beautiful bathrooms, along with gorgeous flooring, new kitchen cabinets, a new beverage bar, among many other upgrades to our home. This was our first experience with a remodel, and we now know how fortunate we were to partner with H2H after meeting and getting quotes from several other contractors. They are a pleasure to work with, even when normal remodeling challenges occurred. Fantastic customer service isn’t about not having challenges – it’s about how those challenges are handled. John and the team handled any challenges that came up with grace, professionalism, competence, and friendliness. They were committed to ensuring we were happy with the outcome no matter what. I had a wonderful experience working with House to Home. I had very specific design requirements and a vision for creating my ideal shower and they worked with me every step of the day. Every part of the crew from the designers to the builders and project leads were very professional, communicative, and helpful in my project. Raquel and Steve in particular were fantastic at helping me and answered all questions I had. They were very honest about the timeline and delivered what they promised. I would recommend them to anyone.

House to Home just finished a complete remodel of our master bathroom. All of the workers on the job were very professional and a pleasure to have working in our house. They were also very anxious to have the end product completed in accordance with our wishes and the design. The pricing of their services was reasonable with no surprises. We are very happy with our new bathroom!

We really enjoyed working with John and his team for our home remodel. In addition to quality work, John provides a great vision for the project that helped us pull our ideas together. We also really appreciate that they are super responsive whenever we contact them regarding small issues that needs attention and find their customer service top notch! We took many bids, and they were not the cheapest. However, we found that you get what you pay for and they are a full service provider from design concept to completion.

I'm really enjoying the extensive remodeling of my house (design through construction) by House to Home (H2H), especially my master bathroom, kitchen, and open living space, which were all reconfigured and were the main sub-projects (besides all new roof, windows, flooring, lighting, cabinetry, appliances, etc., all recommended and supplied through H2H). All the major design changes down to the minor in-process changes/adaptations that were necessary due to unforeseen issues, turned out more satisfying than originally planned. Having a single-contact project manager at H2H overseeing all the work from beginning to end also made it much simpler and easier for me throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to use H2H again for any future project. (Note: I waited six months after project completion before writing this review in order to provide feedback based on living in the remodeled house.)

We were so pleased with the process and outcome of our project with the House to Home team! Everything was handled in a very professional manner, communication was excellent, and each step of the way was thoroughly planned and executed. We are very pleased with the high-quality work that shows in the final result. It was a pleasure to work with House to Home and we will definitely use them again in the future.

House to Home remodeled our 2 kids bedrooms, playroom, and added 2 new bathrooms. The work was done professionally, on schedule, and with quality craftsmanship. Our job foreman (Pat McCaroll) was excellent. He visited the project almost daily and made sure his guys and the sub-contractors were held to a high standard. They cleaned up after themselves daily and did their best to limit the disruption to our home. The owner (John Hayes) was always available to discuss any concerns and make sure our expectations were being met. The most impressive part of working with House to Home was their customer service and commitment to quality. With every construction job, there are always small items that come up after completion - paint touch ups, small repairs, or adjustments that the homeowner notices after the fact (ie. the punch list). Pat and House to Home came back repeatedly and cheerfully to make sure we were 100% happy. I would highly recommend this contractor for any job, big or small.

My wife and I used House to Home for many projects starting with a bathroom remodel that was delivered on time and on budget. The crew (all of them) are professional, competent, friendly, and work as a team. Because this remodel went so well, we continued to use them for other projects throughout our home and with the same satisfied results. An important point to comment on is they continue (years later) to be available for any issues that come up. They take pride in and stand behind their work. I highly recommend House to Home.

House to Home modernized our 20 year old staircase by installing a beautiful wood and stainless steel railing. It is the talk of the neighborhood! They did an excellent job in a very short time frame. I would highly recommend their remodeling services.

House to Home did an addition on our 1945 house. We wanted a second bathroom added to the house. One of our concerns was that we also wanted the addition to look like it belonged with the original house. This was the first time we had done an addition, so we needed someone who had patience with us, and all our questions. We found that in House To Home. They also were great at dealing with the permits, inspection, and design questions with our architect. The process of living in the home while they were working on it was an adjustment, but House to Home worked with us, and made it as comfortable as possible. It was well worth the wait to get to the end product. All the people at House to Home; John, Garrett, Pat, Damien, the office staff, and all the professionals in their individual trades, did a great job, and the finished project proves that. We are very happy with our new/old home. The Bath, Bedroom, and new Patio are wonderful additions to our home. Karl and Ralph

John Hayes and team are my go to contractors. Not only are they a pleasure to work with but are organized, knowledgeable and timely. His team is thorough and very responsive. Many issues/problems come up during every project, they handle them with care and make it a very positive experience for the homeowner. They know how to perform within a budget and meet dealines.

After deciding we wanted to upgrade our bathrooms, we soon discovered that finding a good contractor is very difficult. We ran the gambit, getting quotes from large companies that promise a great product at a very low price. We were visited by slick sales people who would tell us what we wanted in order to keep their costs down only to realize that’s not what we wanted. With hindsight to spare, we can now say that remodeling your bathrooms is a very personal experience. You want a contractor you trust in your home, cares about what you want during design, protects your home during construction, keeps you informed every step of the way, and above all, doesn’t call the job finished until you are happy with it. The people at House to Home have done all of the above for us.We would highly recommend them if you are thinking of remodeling your home.

They did a great job of keeping us informed each week of construction and the pricing was very reasonable. Could not say enough good things about John and his team and the job they did..
