My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Very positive. We considered trust to be one of the most important features of hiring a contractor and By Design did not disappoint us. We really counted on their experience and expertise in remodeling our bathroom and closet area. The project was done in a timely manner with consideration to our schedules. The By Design Collaborative team was very helpful in walking through a huge project with us. They had some great design recommendations and were very responsive in all our various formats of communication. Our projects, the renovation of a Casita, extension of existing home as well as a new garage all came out beautifully and we are very happy with the results. Their showroom is beautiful and they have many material options to meet your needs. We particularly enjoyed working with Scott, their painter. Their electrician also did a wonderful job. We have had a couple things pop up since completion and they have been very responsive in coming out to take care of them. Would recommend.

I've now worked with Brianna on two whole house remodels. She and her team are professional, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. Brianna helped me come up with a realistic budget (which prioritized the parts of the house that really mattered to me) and was able to stick to the budget and timeline for each remodel. If there were delays in product availability she was able to quickly find replacements that met the budget and were in the style of the project. The worksite was always clean at the end of each day. She always communicated to me the progress, any updates or changes in a timely manner. I would recommend By Design Collaborative to anyone in the Phx area who is planning a large or small remodel.

We had an incredible experience with Design Collaborative during our total remodel project. They were responsive, careful, attentive and friendly. The project was done on time, and within our budge. Briana gave us weekly updates, and kept us in the loop. I really appreciated the time she spent helping me pick out everything from overhead lights to my backsplash. All in all, a great experience

They were detail oriented, professional, flexible, tried their hardest to save us money, and were very helpful and persistent when dealing with insurance. We had no doubt at any point that they had our best interest at heart and were working very hard for us. Highly recommend!

Design Collaborative worked with us to design, install a fireplace with electrical insert and mantel. They built a wall to place the TV above the mantle and also placed stone around the fireplace. Two shelf cabinets were designed as well on each side, with granite tops. All stages of the project from Design, construction and finishing touches were performed in an excellent professional manner. Everyone was pleasant and worked with what we would like and wanted. We would highly recommend them for any home projects that you have.

They did a beautiful job on the house, taking care of things that we never would have thought of. We used By Design Collaborative for a completely gutted Master Suite, Office, and Master Bath remodel. This project was unplanned and prompted by a sudden problem with a very old soaking tub that was leaking and needed to be removed immediately. We were overwhelmed and literally had no idea what we wanted. They assessed the space and meticulously discussed our current needs and future desires. They then began the design exploration phase with us. We came to this stage with NOTHING! Not one idea; no Pinterest boards, not even a favorite color! BDC was awesome! They gave us just enough design ideas and choices that we felt empowered but not so many that we felt paralyzed to make a decision. The process was seamless. The quality of the products used, and the professionalism of the trade’s teams were awesome. The flow of the project was outlined in detail, and we knew at every step what was happing next. We loved partnering with BDC and can’t wait to use them on our next project!

By Design did a phenomenal job with our remodel and design. We didn't really know what finishes and materials we wanted to use and Briana and Brad were not only knowledgeable but helped us understand the process and what to expect. Not only did they help with the design they were able to model everything in 3D so we could see what our home would look like after. Our expectations were blown out of the water. The project was done on time and on budget, and the finishes were better than we could imagine. I will be using By Design for all my future projects they are the best of the best.
