Working with Gabriella has been eye-opening ! She is an incredible artist. The attention to detail that she gives is like no other in the industry that I have experienced. She is creative and finds use for what you may think is unusable space. She defines Architectural Interior Designer . She's Brilliant and I have learned so much from her. Gabriella decorated my 2 bed 2 bath apartment in Santa Monica. The difference from when they started to where it ended up is amazing. She was extremely friendly, professional and very good at what she does. I would highly recommend for whatever decoration you are looking for!

We hired Gabriella Toro and the results she provided were nothing short of miraculous. She's an artist. She has a great eye and a collaborative spirit. She listened to our needs and responded with one fantastic idea after another. The best quality of Gabriella's work can only be experienced-- she ties every room together in discreet ways, the color palette is gorgeous and unique, the lines and angles work from all directions. The house has an integrated flow. She transformed our house on time and on budget and with an enthusiastic, flexible attitude that made us look forward to every meeting we had as an adventure and not a chore. When we bought our house in Mar Vista , it had a very dated feel and an awkward layout. Everything felt out of balance and plain. There was a tremendous amount for us to renovate. In addition, we had grand visual ambitions. We expanded our kitchen, raised the ceiling in our living room, created a modern cut out wall to conceal and awkwardly placed staircase, turned a horrid little fireplace into a thoroughly modern, show-stopping, stone hearth, redesigned every inch of lighting, took a sad upstairs large loft space and converted it into a spectacular master bedroom with a walk-in closet , beautiful oak details and a gorgeous travertine bathroom with double sinks, a steam room and giant bath. Result: everyone compliments the warmth and original beauty of our home. I can't recommend her more!

Silvia and Gabriella helped me with the remodel and interior design of my Indian canyon Palm Springs home. Their design aesthetic is impeccable and they are such a pleasure to work with. Our home was very closed in and their design plan opened the Living room area up and created a great space that flowed into the kitchen and made it ideal for entertaining! They replaced all the windows and sliders and remodeled the complete kitchen and we absolutely love it! They stayed true to the 60s retro modern look in all of the interior Decor and furnishings and we have received so many compliments from our houseguests! They paid attention to every detail and executed everything beautifully! I would recommend Toro-Lombardo highly!

I have photographed several of her spectacular projects. Gabriella is a pleasure and a delight to work with. She has been a wonderful colleague and friend! She is just incredibly fun to work with and easy to get along with, at the same time she is a complete professional, with extreme attention to detail and great communication skills, not to mention taste. We had recently moved to Santa Monica and needed both general interior and exterior remodeling, but also to modify our home to better accommodate the needs of our son who requires a wheelchair. While the projects are still ongoing, Gabriella has shown passion in her design and sensitivity to our needs. She has also demonstrated great management of the projects...providing daily updates and keeping the workers on schedule. This has made the whole experience excellent and she receives our highest recommendation.

With this company you get an impeccable Italian sensibility with the efficiency of a Roman cohort. I could not be happier with the work Gabriella did for me. She converted the sad mock Tudor exterior of my house into something hip and warm that gives me a little jolt of happiness every time I pull into my driveway. And it was all quite simple - the key was the landscaping - stones and succulents, and a few splashy details here and there. The genius idea was to move a palm tree from a hidden spot at the side into the front which I thought would be difficult and expensive (it turned out to be neither). Then a change of color and some modern lighting - and there you have it - I feel ten years younger. Gabriella is the best kind of professional. She obviously loves what she does. And she's efficient, pragmatic, seasoned, talented and imaginative. I also like the crew she brought with her and it was reassuring to see that they clearly have a mutual respect.

We hired Cippananda Design because we heard about Gabriella Toro's "personal touch", and we got a tremendously efficient - inspiring! - reDesign and re-make of our one-bedroom in Santa Monica. We were out of town but all communication was precise in every image, measurement and detail. The entire apartment was redone: new hardwoods, kitchen, bathroom, closets, paint. The place was delivered on time: it's now a small pearl a few steps from the ocean. Grazie!

Not only are Gabriella Toro and Silvia Lombardo talented and experienced interior designers they are both very sensitive to budget constraints. They have developed relationships with remarkable subcontractors who meet their exacting standards and are a pleasure to have working in your home. If there is ever a glitch in the construction or decorating process Silvia and Gabriella are on-the-spot to correct the problem, no matter how small. They are always upbeat, fun to work with and full of ideas you would never have thought of. Their office staff is also very friendly, competent and helpful. I've been priveleged to work with them on two projects and I'm very pleased to recommend them.
