In 2007, I built a Connor Home in Rockport, ME. I loved the house, so when I returned to Massachusetts and Cape Cod, I wanted another Connor Home. Mike Connor and his team are superb to work with in designing the home. What is best about the house is that design, the layout and its outstanding millwork – cabinetry, door and window frames, moldings … I just love it, as do my neighbors! My wife and I finally moved into the Timothy Wells Connor Mill built home at The Settlement at Hobbs Farm in Wells, Maine. We absolutely love the home. It is gorgeous and the craftsmanship really sets this home apart from other new homes in Wells and Kennebunk. The home fits very well within the New England farmhouse vernacular and folks have asked us if we renovated an old Maine farmhouse (I suppose from a short distance it has that appearance). Our previous home was built in 1824 and as much as we loved that old Maine farmhouse, we simply did not have the free time that home deserved for the endless renovations it required to keep it going. We wanted to let you all know that we're delighted to live in one of your well crafted homes. We hope to live and grow old with this home and raise our daughter in this lovely community.
