I had the pleasure of working with Melissa from Creative Build and Design on a recent kitchen and first floor renovation project and I could not be happier with the results. Melissa, as the designer, working in concert with Sean, the contractor, were detail-oriented, had great planning skills, and Melissa provided wonderful creativity and design. Melissa took the time to truly understand my style preferences and help create a vision that reflected that. She listened to my ideas and adapted beautiful design ideas based on my likes. With that she helped create not only a stunning kitchen, but one that has high functionality. She walked me through each choice, from appliances, to cabinet styles, to colors, countertops, and furniture, helping with each detail. Additionally, Melissa and Sean executed the kitchen plan flawlessly and well within the agreed-upon timeline. They were communicative about each stage, planned ahead for each stage, ensured each aspect of the renovation was completed to their high standards. Her consistent communication and careful follow through made the entire process smooth. I highly recommend Melissa and her work with Sean given her design expertise, commitment to the project, and overall approach that made this big project an incredibly smooth experience with a wonderful outcome. Melissa and Sean were wonderful to work with. From being reliable and showing up every step of the way, I actually couldn’t believe how dependable and responsible they both were. I was very indecisive about design and Melissa took me to stores and gave me a great intro to design 101 in how she explained things to me. I just have changed my mind multiple times and sent her countless pics and she always took the time to listen thoughtfully. I’m so happy with how my new kids bath and laundry room came out and I already hired them again to now design and construct my master bath. Because of a tough design they have been in my bathroom many times already brainstorming and I feel completely comfortable letting them take over and I will stay out of it more this time as I loved their work and professionalism. This team is as good as it gets and they get it done with as little or as much input from you.

Melissa was great to work with! She listened to our ideas, gave honest feedback and was thoughtful in her design recommendations. She also encouraged us beyond our comfort zone and the end result is beautiful! She also handled all of the coordination with all vendors and the contractor - which was HUGE for us (we didn't want to track down every material/fixture/etc). She's a pleasure to work with!

Melissa is AMAZING. She completely transformed our master bath and our first floor powder room and we couldn't be happier. She then brought in great contractors (shout out to Ballarino Contracting) and oversaw the process, making the whole experience smooth and seamless even though we did the renovation during COVID and supply chain challenges! I would highly recommend Creative Build. We needed a guest bathroom renovated on a tight budget and with a time crunch. Melissa and her contractor were amazing and made sure that everything from obtaining permits and materials to getting final inspection from the town were completed in a timely manner. We hired Melissa for renovating two bathrooms in our house and had great experience. Working with Melissa was the best decision we made on transforming our large dated family room , laundry and half bath in a 1860s farmhouse into a cover of a magazine! As with any remodel on an old house, we ran into lots of obstacles that pushed against our design timeline and budget. Instead of running for the hills, Melissa stood by and consulted with layout/structural decisions and focused on the main design elements that would truly transform the space. The result is amazing! Each room captures an updated look of the original character and provides the functionality that didn’t exist before. In addition, the family room has an amazing coziness that makes us never want to leave! Not only was Melissa patient, she was thoughtful and creative throughout the entire process. She asked lots of insightful questions to helped focus our design decisions so it was not overwhelming. We highly recommend Melissa and can not wait to work with her again on another project!

Melissa has excellent taste! She was thoughtful, responsive and generous with her time.
