We recently contracted this company and Spoke with the owner Ron to remodel our bathroom and floors. The initial installation was shotty at best. During their poor installation they caused multiple leaks in our shower pan which caused a constant leak under the floors. They hired a company to come in to fix the water damage. Since then they have refused to fix the shower pan or reinstall the flooring that needed to be removed from the water damage. They have accepted no responsibility and told me good luck in the future. After that they stopped answering my calls and stuck me with the bill from the water damage company. Very shady company. DO NOT TRUST RON.

After viewing high rated reviews, we contracted Design & Remodeling Solutions (DRS) in Dec 2020 to accomplish a $110,000+ kitchen remodel. After 10 months, the remodel was less than satisfactory, riddled with problems, miss measurements, poor installation, and very poor communications. The project left many unresolved issues which DRS would not respond or fix. DRS did not complete contract. They talked a good game in the beginning but provided poor quality installation services & little attention to contract specifications. Be very wary of this company regardless of high ratings. I would NOT recommend this company.

We contracted with DRS for a kitchen remodel. They provided excellent design insights along with professional project management. DRS has a great showroom with a full complement of materials and samples for virtually any type of project. The owners and site manager were effective communicators and responsive to our inquiries and a few change orders. We highly recommend DRS for home remodeling requirements.

Working with Ron and Susan and the DRS team has been amazing. I highly recommend them for remodeling. Our remodel used their special certifications in ADA accessibility. They are thorough, knowledgeable, and well[-connected to provide comprehensive service. The planning and design process was personal yet professional and included great images of how the final will look. Moving through the unexpected, inspection delays, and so forth, they have kept things moving and stayed in communication. The painters I had working in the home also reported ease of working with the crew.

When you want to remodel your home, the first difficult step is to hire a contractor. Our first attempt failed and we ended up firing the contractor. But our second attempt brought us to Design and Remodeling Solutions with Ron and Susan O'Brien. They were a life saver for us. DRS was on the job immediately after the permits were issued and from that point on, we couldn't believe how quickly progress was made. We had a total remodel of a 2,000 sq foot condo and they had it completed in basically 10 weeks or so. They have their own skilled trade workers so there was no time wasted trying to coordinate the different jobs with other contractors. Not only did they incorporate our ideas but they had a lot of good ideas as well. Some of the ideas even saved us money. The job site was kept clean and all the skilled trades did their job well. The supervisor was very well organized and did not allow for any wasted work days. The cost of the project was comparable to other companies but the quality and the "concern" for a quality job was far better than the other companies. . The total job was spelled out in a detailed contract at the beginning so the particulars of the project are all upfront from the start and they stood behind it. We enjoyed working with all of them and we would hire them in a minute if we ever remodel again.

We highly recommend Design and Remodeling Solutions. They recently completed the renovation of our kitchen and guest bath and we are 100% happy with the work done. The design drawings were very representative of the completed work. The workers were on time when scheduled which made the project easier to live with during construction.

Can't thank Ron and Design and Remodeling Solutions enough for holding my hand through the remodeling of our Master Bath. From design to completion Ron, Ryan and staff where on top of the job. A clean work site at the end of each day and a beautiful job finished in a timely manner according to contract. We highly recommend DRS, Inc. and intend to have more work done in the future.

We are thrilled with the outcome of our bath renovation! It is not only beautiful to look at, but also so much more functional for our current and future needs. The contractors were professional and skilled, the design team knowledgeable and responsive to our vision. Walls were torn down and floors contoured for the shower area very effectively. The tile work was exceptional. When a problem did arise, DRS corrected it quickly and efficiently. We recommend this firm.

From first conception to last item on the punch list, I was very pleased with their responsiveness, the quality of their work and the people they sent to my house. I wish them great success. My husband and I worked with Ron & Susan to totally remodel and expand our lanai area. We spend a lot of time outside the house and wanted to create an oasis where we could sun, lounge, entertain, grill, swim. Ron was able to take our ideas and expand on them. Susan was able to help with the colors. Looking at different pavers and tiles with her helped us to decide what we really wanted. Between Ron' knowledge and contacts with others in the industry we now have a space we love to hang out in. Both Susan and Ron are top notch professionals, as well as friendly individuals. Very lucky we found them and hired them for our project.

I am a designer and therefore very particular. Ron was very good about working through the details of the design with me to make sure the execution would be successful. The quality of the work is excellent. His direct employees and the vendors he recommended were all knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. My husband and I are very pleased with our new master bath. We had a kitchen remodel and thought we could manage it ourselves. Soon we became aware of several issues and had to hire a general contractor. We interviewed several but in the end we chose Design and Remodeling Solutions. The owners Ron and Susan were there for us from the beginning. They are easily accessible and most importantly Ron is a problem solver. He makes things happen and when time is of the essence, having a problem solver on your side makes all the difference in the world. He says what means and his word is golden! This isn't our first dealing with a general contractor but I hope that DRS will be our last. I really appreciate the professionalism that Ron and Susan had extended to us.
