Unlike all of the other builders that bid on my project, Scott Dube said there were no obstacles in the build that we couldn't overcome. Very close to projected cost. Done in a very timely manner. I never had any difficulty contacting him. Very family friendly.

Scott did a great job building our home. We would go down every night to see the progress, and we agreed with our neighbor that it was one of the best solidly built homes we have ever seen. We received quotes from 3 builders, and Scott's quote was the best by far. We would not hesitate to hire him again, but hopefully we won't have to....we're tired of moving :-)

Scott was a pleasure to work with for our addition and new porch. He was very helpful through the design and quote process. He understood what we were looking for And he helped guide us to the best options. Our original quote was higher than our budget but we changed the materials to match our budget and still got the whole renovation done. Scott finished the job earlier than his estimate. Most of all I appreciated Scott's keeping us aware of when work was going to be done and what we needed to do have rooms cleared. On the whole job I think there was only one day when the scheduled work did not happen. He did what he said he would do and when he said he would. The quality of his work was high and the transitions between the old and new parts of the renovation were top notch. If you're looking for a great experience with a renovation he is your guy. I would use his company again in a heartbeat.

Scott framed my house in 2001 so I thought he would be a candidate to add on a 1,100 SQ FT addition, and he was. Working from my rough sketches he designed and built a breezeway and two story garage with 2 bedrooms and a living room on the 2nd floor. Everything lined up perfectly (floors, outside walls, roof lines) to the existing house and the final project came in on time and on budget. I can't think of anything that needed to be redone or fixed. It looks great and I am very happy with the work he did. You can see my addition at 8 Sheila Circle in Saco. AND I completely redesigned my kitchen in 2014 and Scott managed all the construction including moving walls, piping, wiring & heating. The amount of effort he put in ensuring all the cabinets were installed straight and level was terrific. The installation required complex crown modeling, closets, and a 12 FT island with an angled portion. You would never know that the kitchen needed to be completely stripped to the studs and rebuilt. It looks terrific. More than once I told Scott I was happy he was the one doing the precision work needed. Prior to starting I did not realize the skill needed. I highly recommend Scott for this type of project as well.

After several bids, we selected Dube Design & Construction to reroof and reside our house and garage. Commencement began July 30, 2013 and ended August 16, 2013. The initial stage was the roof demo which included removal of a dormant chimney to the roof line. A subcontractor was used for this portion of the project. The demo was a bit sloppy as some of the product (shingles and bricks) ended up on my neighbors yard and a few of the screens were damaged. The cleanup was satisfactory and Scott Dube repaired the screens. The house demo included removal of cedar shake shingles and some soffit repair. The house was shielded with a Tyvek wrap and the siding was installed. The crew was efficient and on task throughout the entire process. Upon completion, Scott caulked and finished off with metal trim to cover any exposed wood and to ensure a finished, attractive look. Cleanup was completed in a timely fashion. We are glad that we hired Mr. Dube and his crew.

This is my second attempt to write a review of this company and hope it takes Dube -Design Construction owner came to review the project and was instructive in what needed to be done and was clear in explaining how his company would proceed to accomplish the project. Scott Dube the owner of Dube Design took on the project of demolition of a wall to enlarge the living room to accommodate a billiard table. He completed the demolition in the projected time and completed to preparation work of installing the required beams and wall board. He coordinated the efforts of the subcontractors -hardwood flooring and finishing: and wall plastering in in the proper order and timeliness and his company completed the finished work in the time projected. All the work was done by accomplished professionals with excellent workmanship. I was thoroughly satisfied with every aspect of their work and highly recommend Dube-Design Constuction
