Over budget, missed deadlines, poor communication, executes change orders without prior written approval. Eagle Homes has a good sales presentation with attractive ideas at a competitive price. However, construction administration, control of individual trade contractors, quality control and keeping you updated on progress is very poor. If there is an available short cut, they will take it every time. Be very specific on what is included in the scope of work.

Met Doug at the Cincinnati Home & Garden show and received a bid for a remodel/gut of a bathroom and adding plumbing and a duct for washer/dryer in my 1920's era home. He was nice and easy to work with in the beginning but became less communicative through the process. Started the remodel in August and finished in November. This was way beyond the original timeframe. Many weeks work was only done 1 or 2 days. I would have to text him every week to get some idea of what would happen. Walls were knocked through , holes in the ceiling left, very unprofessional. I would have to text him to get him to fix his contractors mess. He expected me to go to paint store to buy paint for the walls and ceilings that are now the wrong color.. Get everything in writing prior to your project and stay on him everyday.
