We hired EDW to create a new master bedroom, bath, and closet. We also had them put in all new windows throughout the house, new siding, shutters, and a new front facade of house. The owner met with us numerous times to help us figure out what design we liked, help us with ideas, and most importantly, how to stay within budget. Once construction began, the workers were prompt, courteous, and cleaned up their materials every day. This was no easy task since construction took place during the fall/winter of 2013/14 with accumulating snow falling every other week! We are so pleased with the outcome of our project! Neighbors and passerby's still stop out front to take a look or comment about how beautiful it turned out. We highly recommend EDW and their knowledgable staff, professionalism, and incredible work!

We hired EDW to renovate an interior wall that spanned fifteen feet high and bordered the staircase from the second to the third floor. From the moment they entered the property to the moment they left, Eric and his team were professional in all ways possible and were very respectful of our home . . . taking measures to contain the construction dirt, and keep any disruption to a minimum. The quality of the work itself was outstanding. We would recommend EDW without the slightest hesitation. Our experience with EDW rates a 10 on a 1 to 10 scale.

Used EDW for a master bedroom / bathroom project. Did fantastic work re-inventing a tired space into a modern, functional, and luxurious living space at a reasonable price. When complications arose (as they do in every major project), they addressed and adjusted the project without losing budget control. We love our space, high recommend EDW, and plan to use them again for future projects.

We used EDW Builders to expand and remodel our Master Bathroom and convert a walk out attic into a Master Closet. The end result exceeded our expectations. They transformed our outdated bathroom into a unique and relaxing space. The workers were great to work with and were very helpful in giving us ideas for utilizing our space with efficiency. The tile work and carpentry work were exceptional. They were neat and professional and we were very happy with everyone we worked with from EDW Builders. We would use EDW Builders again and would highly recommend them to others.

Our experience from start to finish with EDW Builders could not have been more positive. After interviewing a number of contractors for our basement refinishing project, our decision to move forward with EDW became very easy once we met Eric and he began suggesting innovative structural options for consideration. For example, while all other contractors automatically proposed emergency egress via a Bilco door or window, Eric offered another option. He suggested a plan to link our existing deck to the new basement. No other contractor mentioned the possibility. We loved the idea of potentially having walk-up stairs from the basement to the deck but could not even begin to envision how EDW would accomplish this. My wife and I were heading out of town the day that Eric and one of his crews arrived with the backhoe and began disassembling the appropriate portion of the deck. We had so much confidence in Eric, as the backhoe operator himself, that we left for vacation knowing everything would be fine. It was simply amazing what they were able to accomplish while providing periodic updates with pictures via iPhone. The outcome was astonishing and now an invaluable amenity when entertaining. This was just one of the many, very imaginative options the Eric offered and successfully delivered on. Nothing was impossible when it came to concealing structural supports and existing ductwork. Eric’s creative use of tray and drop ceilings was brilliant. The subcontractors used (e.g. HVAC, electrical, etc.) were also outstanding. They worked very closely with Eric, my wife and me to achieve everything we asked for. The crew that Eric assigned to our project, led by Tom P., could not have been more expert or respectful. I never had a concern for the safety of my family or property. We very much liked the “allowance” approach that EDW incorporates into the bidding process. None of the other contractors took the time to explicitly describe what to expect for each aspect of the project cost (e.g. bathroom fixtures, fireplace, sound insulation, etc.). We felt that the allowances proposed were consistently fair and certainly beyond typical builder’s grade. As another example of meeting/exceeding our expectations, the “Bar” included in the bid was not what we envisioned. Our goal was to replicate a bar from an old English pub of which we had pictures. Although this certainly came as an upgrade, working closely with Linda from Integrity Kitchens and relying on her unique expertise, EDW was able to build the exact bar we were looking for. I could go on and on but suffice it to say, we could not be happier with the craftsmanship and professionalism of Eric and his staff at EDW Builders. My wife and I could not recommend EDW Builders more highly and look forward to using their services again in the future.

We used EDW to add a 4 season porch to our home. We sat down and designed exactly what we wanted, and several weeks later were delighted with the final result! Everything was done as we envisioned, completed promptly and on budget. They were very easy to communicate with and kept us apprised of everything. The workers were neat, clean, and respectful. I would absolutely highly recommend EDW for anyone wanting a quality job.

For anyone who has ever had to deal with a disaster in your home, you know that it is one of the hardest things that you will ever have to go thru. For days, following the fire that occurred at my home I had to deal with restoration companies, contractors, lawyers, and very aggressive public adjusters, who were like sharks swarming the property, just waiting for me to show up and attack me with reasons why I needed them now and to sign papers. Being a single mom, I really didn’t know who I needed or what to do, but I knew that I was the one who had to deal with it. I soon realized that all of these people saw my insurance claim as a synonym for “Home Run” and everyone wanted a piece of it. Then I met Eric from EDW Builders and I instantly knew he was the one for the job. From that point on he took care of everything. He answered all of my questions and always answered my calls. I was informed every step of the way, well in advance of what was happening next and what I needed to pick out. He was great to work with in every way, and his crew worked together with him wonderfully. The best thing I can say about EDW Builders is that the price that they quoted was the price that I paid for a completed ready to move in house. There were no hidden costs, extras, or surprises. The house came out amazing and over one year later I have not had to call him back for ANY problems. Eric Woloshyn is an honest man and an excellent builder. We hired Eric and EDW for a major house remodel we had been contemplating for nearly 10 years. EDW Builders took a ranch house and made it into a beautiful two story home with 5 bedrooms 2 baths and a gorgeous in-law suite. Edw was ready to work with me as I made some changes to the design along the way, always available to answer all my questions and kind and professioal. I would without hesitation recoment EDW to my friends and family. And I am looking forward to working with them again on our next project.
