The whole Encore team - Tim, John, Brad, and James - were fantastic! From start to finish they provided highly customized, diligent, and meticulous work and support. The sub-contractors they used were equally meticulous and diligent. The bathroom tile work was fabulous and the floating vanity idea makes much more room in a tiny space. The unique changes to a small basement room have livened up our living space. In this crazy pandemic, their safety measures were much appreciated; and, despite some delays out of their control because of the pandemic, they made the process totally smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend them!

Tim, John, Brad and James were great to work with throughout two bathroom remodels. They are honest and meticulous in completing their work. Brad and James are excellent carpenters and they were always polite and respectful. Additionally, the subcontractors used for tile, electric and plumbing were also excellent and a pleasure to have in our home. Tim and John made sure they projects kept moving and John was great about making sure everything got cleaned up each day if anyone left any garbage or dust behind. I highly recommend Encore and would definitely use them again if i ever remodel anything else.

Tim, John, and all the tradesmen who work for them are not only highly professional, they are also excellent at what they do and are just really good people. They are also honest, considerate, and very fair. Encore built a bedroom, walk-in closet, and bathroom in my basement in what used to be unfinished storage space. I'm thrilled with how it turned out. I recommend them highly.

We have been working with Tim for over 6 months and we are getting close to wrapping up our project. I will update this review with more information in the next few weeks. We cannot say enough good things about Tim and his Encore team. Renovation is stressful, time consuming, and there will be points that you may say that you cannot take it anymore. Tim is a God-given gift to those of us who are nuts with attention to details and looking for (our notion of) perfection. He is an absolute pleasure to work with, is a good guy and offers quality workmanship. Thank you Tim for being awesome and letting us drive you crazy all the time! Your choice of wallpaper made our pink bathroom a classic one :)

They have worked on a variety of our residential projects that involved both traditional and modern detailing for remodeling projects and additions. Their team is polite, considerate, and professional.

I used Encore for two projects after purchasing a 1970's home in Ann Arbor. The first year we significantly remodeled inside, removing walls and adding windows and doorwalls, as well changing out systems and adding creative decorative detail work to make the home feel like an older farmhouse. The second year we added a large screened porch--one that holds twelve for dinner with an additional seating area. Although I had interviewed several other local contractors, I liked Tim from the first time I met him. Some people are just good people, and as a contractor, Tim worked well with me through the inevitable ups and downs of the building/remodel process--and that is what you both want and need! I trust him implicitly and would not hesitate to hire him again.

Tim, John, Brad and the Encore team were excellent to work with. They rebuilt our front deck/stair after we had to remove our existing structure due to Orangeburg removal. They were professional from start to finish---remained on budget to what they proposed in the estimate; showed up at the same time and worked hard every day to complete the job on time; and made the whole process headache-free. The cost of the project was reasonable compared to other quotes, and not so low that the quality of materials or craftsmanship suffered. We receive compliments regularly from complete strangers walking by our house.

Encore's workers are skilled, timely, and do excellent work. They are also pleasant and helpful. They clean the workspace at the end of each day, and the projects are completed on time and within budget. I recommend them with no reservations.

I have contracted several remodeling projects w/ Encore Building/Tim Rayburn because of their great quality, timeliness and professionalism. They get the job done as promised, and on time. Best remodel was a complete condo including kitchen, bathroom and living room. Most amazing fact was how quickly they got the job done given the short time frame. They will always be my go-to remodeled and have forwarded numerous friends to them for their projects too. Great people.

Wonderful contractor. Fast and easy to work with. I am not the easiest client to work with. I always have lots of detailed questions and expect a lot from those I hire. Tim has delivered on every project I have hired him for. He is fair with his pricing and does a high quality job. Always available to answer questions and responds quickly. Strongly recommend.
