Envision Custom Renovations

We signed a design contract with Alan (Sensitive Information Hidden) and Envision Custom Renovation to design and permit a renovation for our house. I believe the design was subcontracted and was acceptable. Alan had a survey done, however it was not paid for by Alan, so it was never received. Alan never actually applied for a permit. Communication was incredibly poor. I would not recommend working with the company or Alan.

We worked with Envision to design the completely undeveloped basement in our new house. Working with the trades and the designers, we now have the basement of our dreams. Working with Ash was wonderful, and he always kept us up to date on the project, consistently checking in to see how things were going. The level of quality and professionalism was amazing. Excellent work. Our mudroom looked small and boring and now it is exactly what I asked for and more. The cabinets are amazing and look like they were built with the house. They match our kitchen cabinets perfectly. Very professional workers and completed the work as promised.

Envision completed a kitchen reno for me in the summer of 2018. In December 2020, 6 months post-warranty, I had a problem with the hood fan. I called Envision who immediately had their site supervisor contact me. He came out the next day, on time, assessed the situation and provided good information about what needed to be done. He started the job at that visit and returned to finish it within a couple of days, again on time! I was pleased with his work and his attitude. And the company did not charge me for the job, even though the warranty period had expired.

Alan and his team from Envision have just finished a complete home renovation for us and we couldn’t be happier. Our Forever Home has turned out beyond our expectations. When undertaking a project of this magnitude there are always going to be glitches along the way but our home was completed on time as promised. The array of suppliers that Envision sent us to were all helpful, professional and willing to listen to our ideas. All the trades that worked on our home were extremely talented and courteous. We are pleased to provide this very positive endorsement of Al and his Envision team. They completed the development of a mud room; a new handicapped accessible master ensuite; covering 2 outside concrete steps with Rundle rock; and a couple of small repair/changes in under 3 months. We liked their structured approach - final look components (paint colors, flooring, wall tiles, bathroom fixtures, lights, etc.) were selected first so that new construction could immediately follow the demo. New work was being done almost every day which we thought was pretty impressive considering that Al and his team were trying to keep contractors separate to avoid any Covid problems. Al and his team ensured work was done properly and to the high standard we wanted, catching a few things we had missed. We appreciated that they wanted any feedback that could help their future work. We are very happy with the results of this renovation. Of equal importance to us is that Al, his team, and all his contractors were friendly, polite, helpful, Covid wary, nice people to interact with.

Couldn’t be happier. Job was completed on the exact day they had set at the start. Having the builder trend app to follow along was great. All the trades people that came through were friendly and professional and their work was tremendous. They made some recommendations along the way and I’m glad they did as I likely wouldn’t have thought of it at the time and am relieved we got it done. Great communication with them during the process. Highly recommend.

We hired Envision in the Fall/Winter of 2019 to complete a bathroom renovation. Our experience with Envision from start to finish was outstanding. The project lead, Rick, gave us a fair and accurate assessment of the time and cost to do the project and immediately understood technically how to accomplish the project (we contacted other renovation companies that told us this project was not even possible). Everyone that Envision put on the project was highly professional and did their work to a high level of quality. Rick and Ryan did an excellent job keeping the project on schedule and updating us of the progress. Would highly recommend Envision to anyone seeking to do renovation work.

En-suite Reno It all started with the shower leaking, yes we could have just repaired the leak but to do so would require a complete rebuild of the shower so... We looked at various suppliers to determine what styles where available and what defined what we liked. At the Home Show we asked three supplies to bid. Envision's quote stood out from the rest, it was thorough and complete, nothing was missed and it showed that Envision knew their business. So it was an easy choice to go with Envision. We were given a list of suppliers to make our choices for the en-suite. But the tile we wanted only came from a different supplier. No troubles, Envision added them to their list of suppliers. We were issued a detailed construction itinerary complete with payment schedule. The work and the payments proceeded on schedule even though Christmas was in the middle. We finished on time and on budget. Hey, it’s a renovation - stuff happened. But whenever there was a issue, it was professionally handled and dealt with to our complete satisfaction with no extra costs. The Builder-Trend program was a brilliant communication tool that kept everyone informed and current. Rob who did the tile work and Jesse who did the mudding deserve special mention for their craftsmanship, their work is simply beautiful. Everyone was a complete pleasure to work with and everyone was completely honest and direct, nothing was hidden. So bottom line, would we use Envision again? Yes; in a heartbeat!

Our experience through the process from design, construction to finish was very positive. The Envision team was responsive, professional and delivered a high quality renovation that was second to none. Our new kitchen has lived up to our expectations and has surely transformed our Chaparral home.
