Dan has remodeled two bathrooms in my house . Since the beggining, Dan was very realistic with his cost estimates, at the end there were no surprises, I spent exactly what I was told it would cost. In this industry this is by itself Priceless! I highly recommend Dan's for his knowledge, workmanship and great crew. Dan stands out for his hands on approach, insightful suggestions and good taste, on top of all, I ended up saving money on materials by driving with Dan to werehouses I didn't even know existed. I recently had my house renovated by Dan Melillo of Excel Builders and couldn’t be more pleased. The outcome is spectacular! My new kitchen is stunning – as are my hardwood and travertine floors. Dan and his workers showed up on time every day (even on Saturdays) and were always professional, friendly, kind and respectful. He and his crew consistently went above and beyond my expectations. They even rolled my trash bins in and out on trash day! He gave a lot of thought as to how to organize the entire project so as to inconvenience me as little as possible. The project moved along quickly according to the scheduled timeframe. At the conclusion of the project, Dan arranged for everything to be put back in its place and for cleaning – from top to bottom. I’ve heard it said that it is often hard to find a talented contractor who also possesses professional business skills. You will find both in Dan. His attention to detail is remarkable. Excel Building & Design did our home renovation and we are very pleased. From the beginning process of design, all the way through to the final product was a great experience. We hired Dan to add a 3rd room to our home. He had to work with a very difficult floor plan. Dan was very innovative in really seeing what i had in mind> His workers were always on time and did a great job. Dan was often on site and very easily accessible when away.
