Annette and I chose Rick and Matt to build our new home in Bloomfield Hills, MI. The project was completed on time and within budget in 2016. We are 100% satisfied with their work. The workmanship quality of all aspects are excellent. We recommend them to all friends either renovating or building new.

I appreciated the ease of working with Matt and Rick. I am 200% satisfied with their work, professionalism, honesty and quality tradesmen. Right from the start, I knew exactly when they would be comin, what they would be doing, and when they would be finished. Terrific contractors. I would highly recommend them.

Both Rick Lindbeck and Matt set the tone from the very start, no gimmicks or pushy sales. They took the time to listen to what our vision, needs and hopes were on all our projects. They took our input and gave us several different options moving forward. The presentations were professional and pressure free. We felt our happiness and satisfaction were more important than the sale. EVERY person and crew member that worked in our home was professional, respectful, hard working and on schedule. Both Matt and Rick stopped by to check in with regularity to ensure the project was progressing. They made us a priority! After working with them and listening to other presentations it was clear we were much more comfortable with the way ech exclusive Custom Homes did business. They separated themselves from every other company we met with. I can’t imagine working with anyone else for anything related to our home. I hope your business model never changes. You put the client first. So impressed with how you manage to take a clients vision and bring it to life. No pressure sales and attention to detail from the first meeting to completion of the project is unmatched. It’s that initial meeting that set the tone for the entire project. I doubt I could in good conscience consider or trust any other company with any home project.

Working with the ECH team was easy. Rick offered us several design options and we were even able to make last minute changes the day before demo. Rick kept us informed with regular status updates and in some cases were ahead of schedule. Working with the interior designer, Jennifer, was a pleasure. She asked a lot of questions about our style and price points before we started shopping for counters, fixtures, back splash,etc. She knew the vendors well and was able to steer me to the areas that were inline with my vision. We had selections made in less than a week, which really helped with keeping to our very aggressive schedule. There are few contractors that I would give such high praise! All the contractors were reliable and detail oriented. It's clear that ECH builds great relationships with their contractors and can count on them to follow through with everything they say they will do.

Exclusive Custom Homes did amazing job with our home remodel and addition in Beverly Hills, MI. The were always on the job site and flexible with meeting when we were available. They kept on schedule and kept us updated on progress and plans. They were like companions on this 10-month journey. Rick and Matt far exceeded our expectations. The level of professionalism and communication was outstanding. I sat down with Rick and showed him what I wanted, he designed it and he and Matt made it happen. There were no surprises, all additions to the contract were discussed and quoted before the work was done. 100% approval on both sides. I really appreciated the constant communication. For the scope of work, we had done I found them very competitive. I highly recommend them.

Rick and Matt are extremely responsive to any question or concern during the process. Every trade they brought in was courteous, hard working and respectful that we were living in our home during the renovation. I really appreciate how everyone involved in the process wants to make us happy and works hard to understand exactly what we want. For example: the crew that stained the wood floors worked with me and my husband VERY patiently while we agonized over the decision of stain color. Same thing for the crew that installed the tile in the bathroom. He was extremely patient with me and gave very helpful ideas that helped create a beautiful bathroom.

We were very happy with Rick and Matt from start to finish on our project. Rick was very patient and listened to what we wanted in our dining room addition and kitchen remodel. In the end, they gave us a beautiful, functional space we love!

We had Exclusive Custom Homes handle a new front entry and exterior renovation. Rick and Matt we’re great to work with. They are diligent, responsive, and do quality work!! They provided us with a budget, including several options and even phasing of the project - allowing us to tackle an addition later this year. We can’t wait to work with them again (and again, and again...)

Rick and Matt jumped in quickly to do restoration of two bathrooms after extreme water damage. Two out of three of our bathrooms were unusable. Previously they designed and updated the exterior of our home and restored our living room after water damage. See pictures of Bloomfield Restoration.
