We were so pleased with the process and result of our original remodel by Fortress that we used them again for our second home. Ten years later, there is nothing we would change in either home. Fortress’s craftsmanship and design skills created thoughtful, handsome redesigns in both projects. All of their plans and their on-the-spot solutions were focused on well-built and well-designed. It’s hard to define good taste, but I believe that’s the extra element we got from Fortress.

We recently had Fortress replace a 4-tier redwood deck for us. The replacement ended up being a 90% tear down. They did an excellent job and their workers are craftsman not just hired hands. It did take longer than planned however this was partially due to the winter season and special requests that we had along the way. It was worth the wait as it turned out beautiful and we are enjoying it. We had used them previously for a kitchen/master bath remodel which also turned out great and we were very pleased.

The team at Fortress is outstanding. We initially had Rob and John's team help us upgrade the exterior of our house and then, subsequently, help with renovations to the interior of our house, as well. They are true professionals. I recommend them completely.

We used Fortress for our upstairs remodel and couldn't be more pleased. Rob really helped us see what was possible in terms of design, which was great since we weren't sure where to begin. We have also used their painting services many times. We also referred them to our friends who hired them for an even bigger remodel and their place looks amazing too!

After interviewing several contractors we hired Fortress Construction to tear down our old house at Incline Village, NV and build us a new custom home from the ground up. Fortress is a design - build company which worked very well for us. We worked with Rob on the design of our home. Rob worked closely with us to design our home just the way we wanted it while staying within our budget. John was our primary person on the construction side of the project. John was very communicative and kept the project moving along. From a construction standpoint we could not be happier with John or the final product. Finally, our job foreman was Matt who did a wonderful job scheduling and coordinating the various trades to keep the entire project flowing smoothly. The net result is a brand new custom home that we love that was completed on time and within our budget. We could not be happier with our decision to hire Fortress and would highly recommend the team of Rob, John and Matt for a remodel or complete build of a new custom home.

We hired Fortress to modernize our kitchen and other projects in the dining room and living room area. They were courteous and professional and stayed within budget at all times. We enjoyed working with him and would do so again.

Punch List upon completion of a major remodel was blank! Everything done to perfection. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a quality and hassle free job.

We hired Fortress to remodel a home we purchased that was a time capsule from 1977. With Fortress we updated the mechanical systems, brought areas of the home up to code, and brought the interiors up to date. Rob's eye for the aesthetics and Johnny's detailed construction knowledge gave us some great solutions to some interesting finds once the walls were opened up. We are super happy with the results and have used them several times.
