Gina's Design Center

Gina's design finished our project in time and on budget. We are very happy with the workmanship, especially the finish carpentry. All the little details that separate a professional job from the rest were very precise. During construction, Gina's crew was a joy to work with and were very flexible. Samantha did the design and worked with us through different iterations to land on exactly what we wanted. After living with it for a while, it works great and looks great. This is one of the best contractors I've worked with.

Samantha understood my design needs and style and executed those well. I wanted minimal involvement and she honored that. I was happy with how both projects turned however both projects were behind schedule and didn't get completed on time. I will hire Samantha for future projects.

Collaborating with Gina and her team on a Design For A Difference project was such a joy. Their knowledge of product, ability to navigate a multi-faceted installation, and above all, provide excellence and professionalism at every turn is what compelled us to write this review. Spokane is so fortunate to have this showroom as a valuable resource and I look forward to working with her again on a future project.

Kitchen redesign, new floor, new powder room - total main floor makeover. Turned out beautiful. Gina was wonderful to work with - always very open to my ideas and there if something didn't go as planned.

Gina has great customer service and a great eye for detail. A pleasure to work with in a challenging situation! She was very fun to work with and is always looking for good solutions and great ideas.

We wanted to reorganize my laundry room to add a wall-mounted a bike rack for several years. We reached out for help recognizing that we would never be inspired to make time for the project. Gina helped us define the project and select materials within our budget. She picked a date and helped us choose colors; a task that could have otherwise taken us all summer. She hired a contractor to build shelves and do the other build and appliance moving work as well as excellent painters. Our old house and unconventional combination of bike/recreational equipment storage and hanging of laundry in our room nearest to our back door made the project a challenge. Gina helped ensure everything was right in the end. We are so happy with our room!

We hired Gina's Design Center on two different occasions. One for a remodeling blueprint and the other for bedroom window coverings. Gina is professional, courteous, offers a range of ideas in many cost categories, offers very competitive prices, and employs contractors of the highest quality. When an appointment is made, Gina and/or her contractors were always on time. All work was done within the deadline set. We had an issue with our bedroom window coverings and Gina was expeditious in getting the problem solved! We would highly recommend Gina's to anyone.

I would NOT recommend Gina's. We hired this business in March of 2014 to remodel our master bathroom. It was supposed to be completed by the end of April 2014, before we left on a visit to family in Georgia. The bathroom was completed enough to use the shower, at that time it was discovered that the special order shower door and shower design allowed for water to leak on to the main floor. The shower area was gutted and all flooring was removed. November of 2014 and the work required to complete the bathroom has not been completed. My husband was told we needed to pay the balance on the job before they could continue. We have had no further contact with Gina's. We paid a supplier directly to install a NEW shower door, because in the fix of the first problems, the measurements weren't correct and we had to buy a second door (1200.00). Anyone need a deal on a shower door? We are completed the work ourselves.

Gina and her team were great to work with. Our project was in a very challenging location (boat access only lake house) and she did not hesitate to take it on, even though others declined. She was very creative, responsive to our needs, and did a good job keeping the project on budget. I would definitely use her again.

Gina assisted with the remodel of both my bathroom and kitchen. She listened to my basic idea of look and use and was able to come up with unique finishes to enhance my thoughts. Both projects ended within budget and on time.

Gina met with my husband and myself at her showroom to discuss our ideas, budget and timeline. She was friendly and knowledgable about the new products, actively listened to our likes and dislikes. Then, we were given access to samples, materials in the showroom without feeling sales pressure. After three meetings and an in-home consult, the design plan was finalized. This was done because Gina observed our choices,and presented material choices that my husband and I either touched or set aside. We did adjust our budget to reflect those choices but the end result is a beautiful kitchen that looks like a well planned design. Our friends walk into the house and ask, "Who designed this kitchen?'. Gina of course is the answer that we give. Her services would be recommended by us to others.

Gina Cook has helped me with two projects to-date. I moved into a 1996 townhouse and wanted to update the kitchen and one of the bathrooms. She came up with a great remodel plan, worked within my budget and was always upbeat and positive. She's a fun gal to work with and has so much energy and lots of good ideas. More recently, I wanted to convert the first floor bedroom into a den by creating an opening from the living room and closing off the existing door. I didn't want french doors or a pocket door and decided a barn door design would be great. When we saw that barn doors were pretty expensive, Gina and the handyman created beautiful doors at half the cost; they turned out gorgeous. They are unique and very attractive, and I get a lot of compliments. Gina is very patient (it took me forever to decide on paint colors, but she just kept smiling and coming up with new suggestions) and has good and practical ideas. If I said something was too expensive (like lighting), she cheerfully went back to the drawing board for more selections. I am happy to recommend Gina and her staff to you.
