HC Design has been fantastic to work with and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. We have been working with Heidi for several years on a complicated renovation project, and I'm so glad we chose HC Design as our partner. We had never taken on a project of this scale before, and Heidi and her team have helped us navigate the process. We felt heard from the beginning when we shared our vision and Heidi and her team asked questions to inform design decisions, and then iterations. When it came to working with engineers and builders, we've felt like the HC Design team has been a valuable guide and has been a shepherd of our budget.

Heidi and her team did a wonderful job for our project. This was nearly a whole-house renovation/gut of a 200 year-old house and the design plans translated very nicely into a completed job. Heidi gave us multiple proposals for the job to start and did a great job with our feedback to morph those proposals into a final plan. We also greatly appreciated how well Heidi dealt with the town historical commission. This was so valuable in keeping our project on track. All-in-all we would highly recommend Heidi and her team.

We engaged with Heidi after a neighbor recommendation. We saw their home during the final phases of construction and were inspired by the lovely updates and also that the design still included the historic pieces of their home in a seamless way. It's been an unfortunate turn of events as we met with Heidi in person prior to the lockdown in March 2020 and so we had back-burnered our plans until recently. Heidi and her team have been professional and supportive. When we first met with Heidi, our family had different ideas on what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. I credit her for her patience and listening to us, despite differing requests, to understand what we need as a family for a more usable space that we can enjoy. Our first round of drawings we immediately loved the second option and we're excited about next steps.

My wife and I are working on an extensive renovation to our home. I am a Interior Designer who recently had the opportunity to work professionally with Heidi on a high-end project for a client of ours. In any project, there is great collaboration necessary between the Architect, Designers, General Contractor, Tradesmen and the client. This was a fast paced renovation that required constant communication within the team, and demanded a lot of creativity and ingenuity. Heidi was readily and promptly accessible at all times of the day and night, including weekends, to the entire team. I was very impressed by her professionalism and work ethic. She has a unique ability to understand specifically what the client is looking for, and to find the best possible solution to implement those needs. Because of my very positive experience working with Heidi, my husband and I contracted her to design the house plans of our new lake house. It is being built in a town south of Boston, and we were looking to create a home that has a little Pacific Northwest feel, but that will be in keeping with the NE region and neighborhood. We were thrilled with her designs! She instinctively understood the unique look and feel we were trying to achieve and has worked closely with us to fine-tune all of the elements we wanted. She has been enthusiastic about providing solutions in creating a home we look forward to living in! After many interviews with local architect firms, we partnered with HC Designs to Design and supervise the construction of our ~4,000sqft coastal home. (Heidi Condon was also referred to us by several reputable builder as a pleasure to work with). She was the ultimate professional from start to finish, providing detailed guidance and outlines to keep us on deadlines and within budget! Her established relationships with our builder, subcontractors, and local building departments made the process seamless! Heidi LISTENED to all our ideas, requests and concerns while offering her knowledge to create a highly functional home, taking into consideration, the natural beauty of the property. From our scribbled floor plans we presented on that "Dunkin' Donuts napkin" at our first meeting, to the detailed architectural plans put into reality, we couldn't be more pleased...even 5 years later! We are so thankful for her patience, insights and talents!

Our home was split-level ranch that just seemed out of place where it is - on the water - and we wanted to "de-ranchify" the house. Before we hired HC Design we had engaged another architect who turned out to be so uninvolved and unresponsive that we ended the engagement. HC Design was recommended to us and we are extremely happy that we chose them as our architectural design company. Heidi has been with us from the start, coming up with a fantastic design, helping us navigate town and county zoning requirements, civil and structural engineering requirements as well as assisting in identifying prospective contractors and helping in the bid evaluation process. Probably the best thing from our perspective is Heidi's overall vision for the project. She has been incredibly helpful in presenting options for interior design aspects like finishes, trim, and ceiling detail as well as the exterior details of siding, windows, etc. Heidi understands that my wife and I are not very talented when it comes to visualizing the project from drawings and she has been excellent at helping us to see her vision. Heidi is extremely personable, outgoing and engaging. We could not be happier with HC Design and recommend them highly.

As a General Contractor working in the high end residential field for over 25 years, I have to say that working with Heidi and everyone at HC Design on countless projects over the last 18 years has been nothing short of FABULOUS!!!. Her vision and the skill set she brings to all of our projects amazes me every time I see one of her concepts, drawings or ideas. We have completed some beautiful projects together from Boston to Cohasset and have a long list of satisfied clients in our collaborated portfolio. We engaged with Heidi for nearly a year on a project that had to be put on pause then picked up again, only to be written off towards the end because the project was no longer worth her time. We went against the recommendation of a few we spoke to who warned us of Heidi's reputation and were subjected to that experience once we started to request changes to the design she suggested. This is our first house and Heidi has made a real negative impact on that experience with lack of communication, lack of tact, and blaming us for mistakes and missed connections. She left us with the impression after every meeting that she looked down upon us and the project was beneath her. We only continued as we were already financially committed and wanted to just see it through. I would not recommend Heidi for any project. However, if you're looking to pay top price for bottom service by all means contact HC Design, and be sure to ask for Heidi.

We used HC Design when we renovated our seaside home. Heidi Condon did a wonderful job. She listened to our thoughts and incorporated our ideas throughout the project. She was also very good about giving us some insight from her extensive experience. If she thought something we suggested wouldn't work well she explained her reasoning. Heidi was knowledgable, professional and personable throughout the entire project. She saw it through to the end, and was even available for questions after the project was complete. We would highly recommend HC Design. Not only were they great to work with, the design was beautiful!!

My Husband and I have worked with Heidi Condon on several projects over the last eight years. Heidi is our go-to architect on any project we've considered . . . large or small. In 2006, Heidi designed a wonderful kitchen for us with fireplaced sitting area and deck with seating. We couldn't be happier with the results! In May of 2014, Heidi designed a delightful outdoor pergola room for us in our yard. Our family has enjoyed all of these areas so much . . . they're a pleasure to be in - day to day - or when entertaining! Heidi is very professional, knowledgeable, and creative . . . and has a great sense of style and design! She is so easy to work with and is very open to presenting different design options. She is always ready and willing to answer any and all questions very promptly by email, text, phone . . . or meet at the site. We became familiar with Heidi's work when she did several projects for my brother and then later did two projects for my niece and her family . . . all Really Beautiful!!! This past year, Heidi designed two lovely renovations for both of our sons and their families . . . again Really Beautiful and Very Creative!!! Heidi and Alissa work so well together as a team . . . their work is impeccable! We feel very fortunate to have found them!

We purchased a waterfront late 50's cape that was in dire need of updating. We didn't want your typical "beachy" design. Heidi was very patient with us as we explored all of our options. We were very concerned with how the home would flow once we relocated the kitchen to the water view side of the home. Heidi gave us exactly what we were looking for in our home. We now have a great flow with a contemporary design. Our kitchen looks great and performs well for a family that likes to cook. I will use Heidi again and would highly recommend her to anyone with a project that requires a professional eye.

Heidi came on to our project after we had decided to change course from a previous architect during the schematic phase of design. She took the initial plans and ideas we had begun and brought them to life. She is professional and efficient in her work. She has a wonderful eye and the ability to make the client's vision a reality. Our project was a fairly complicated and large renovation/addition which went off without a hitch due largely to the great construction set she provided our builder. Our general contractor said the drawings were incredibly accurate and well noted, which allowed for a quick and smooth construction process. There were no missed issues in her work. She also knows the "authorities" in the area and can navigate clients through any planning/conservation issues that may arise. We were very pleased we switched to HC Design and highly recommend Heidi. It is like working with a friend to create your home.

We had the honor to work with Heidi in several kitchens and baths. As an allied professional she is a pleasure to work with and a very talented architect. Heidi is very respectful of her clients' needs and wants and her homes truly represent the homeowner's personality rather than a specific "signature architectural style". She is always researching new concepts and open to explore new materials, products and innovative ideas to bring her clients something different and very personal to them.

The team at HC Design are wonderful to work with. We purchased a house which had a number of restrictions regarding property improvements. We could not increase the footprint, nor could we exceed the budget established (in a flood zone). HC Design was able to come up with an architectural plan which satisfied us and the city as well!

Heidi and Alissa are a great team. They have been very available for even the smallest questions during our relatively large scale project (master suite, new entryway, garage and great room). They have also been extremely helpful during the contractor search, allowing us to keep the project on schedule. Not to mention the gorgeous designs and attention to details! Their attitude towards the project is very down-to-earth. While there is a strong appreciation for beautiful materials and craftsmanship, it is refreshing to have a team mindful of the budget as well.

It was such a pleasure to work with Heidi. Our addition and renovation project turned out fantastic and Heidi's design ideas were above and beyond -- she made our home go from good to great.
