Healthy Home Consultants is a great design and building company. I had a separate architect design my home, and Healthy Home built to those specifications beautifully, while also incorporating other design ideas as well. They were amazing from start to finish. The craftsmanship is top notch. I highly recommend them! Thank you, Bret Hackett and Clint Hutton--you run a wonderful business and I'm living in my Dream Home now!

PHENOMENAL! From beginning to end, not a single complaint. My whole house remodel was done battling covid, the cost of materials doubled or even tripled, and of course….supply chain issues. Even through all that, the team at Healthy Home was so professional and their communication was top notch. Any issue that came up was met head on with confidence and I was never kept in the dark about anything. Don’t hesitate to hire Bret and his team, it’ll be the best decision you’ll make for your project.

I would definitely recommend Health Home Co! Bret & Clint and their crew were wonderful to work with. We did a full downstairs/kitchen remodel, and as these things go, we ran in to a bump or two along the way, but the guys did a fantastic job of being in communication the whole time and had solutions for the bumps. The web platform they use for the project is awesome, and we could see what they completed each week, along with pictures as we weren't living in the house at the time the remodel started. I was able to refer back to the pictures when I needed to install a tv to see what was behind the wall. Super grateful for their transparency and attention to detail. The crew was here, a lot... they felt like family as we would always chat with them and my 5 year old would "help" them with the construction at times. It was bittersweet when they were done because I was so happy with all they did, but was sad we wouldn't be seeing them again... so we're planning an addition on the home in the future to have them back, haha! I can't say enough good things about this company, they are wonderful to work with and really listened.

We worked with Briette on a kitchen and bathroom remodel and couldn't be happier! She came with a lot of great ideas, but was flexible in creating revisions as our vision changed. My husband and I had a strong idea of what we wanted, without actually knowing how to achieve it, and Briette helped up make it happen in a restricting space. Highly recommend!

Briette Snook and her team of professionals are outstanding! We spent a decent amount of money establishing plans for a new build and we're stonewalled by City regulations/bureaucracy. She took the initiative to research the City requirements and was able to contest the City and establish a different approach on our build so that we could move forward. Not only did they make the project happen but ultimately it was a cost saving route in terms of construction. Lastly, her communication was super consistent and we will refer her to all of our friends and clients!

We worked with HHC on a several month project, mostly on the finishing stages of building a home. Their work was impeccable, they were on time, held on to their word, and were good communicators throughout the process when we hit challenges. I would HIGHLY recommend working with them on any project. Since we built the house we worked with close to 10 different contractors and it was clear that HHC is above and beyond the rest. I wish we found them earlier because we would have most likely hired them for the entirety of the project... and avoided a lot of headaches along the way.

Healthy Homes donated a week of their crews time to build a trail bridge in partnership with U.S. Forest Service. The USFS International Programs coordinated with Brazilian land managers for the HH crew to teach timber bridge construction methods. HH was professional and fun to work with.

With two growing girls in a small two bedroom/one bathroom house in South Lake Tahoe, California, things were getting a little cramped. We thought about moving, but love our location so decided to move forward with an addition. We wanted another bedroom/bathroom and garage (more storage). My husband has worked with Bret Hackett on a number of projects and liked the design of the homes he has built around the Tahoe Region. As a result, we asked Bret to help us through the design process. Bret and Briettee Snook with Healthy Home Consultants helped my husband and I design a detached garage with an attached multi-purpose room and an addition to our home in South Lake Tahoe, California. They were extremely helpful and creative, as well as patient with us when we changed our minds. We are currently constructing the garage and multi-purpose room and are excited to see the final product. We are confident the project will improve the appearance, comfort, and enjoyment of our home. Healthy Home Consultants designed my remodel for me and my family, and made our dreams a reality. The job was not easy, as I requested an addition of 500 sq. ft. interior and a seamless indoor outdoor feel with a 1000 sq. ft. outdoor covered patio. The ideas and design were beyond my expectations and the results are amazing! One of the main reasons we hired Bret Hackett from Healthy Home Consultants for a major renovation was because he was both architect and contractor and we were living abroad at the time. Communication and confusion was reduced to a minimum due to his total familiarity to the plans and our vision. He and everyone on his crew were very professional, had a great positive attitudes and his method of billing and purchasing of materials was totally transparent. We hired Healthy Home Consultants to prepare architecture plans for a 1200 sf addition to a 1923 home. Our goal was to have the design be functional and to not detract from original features and charm of the home. We could not be happier with the results. We worked with architect Briette, who was extremely helpful in designing unique spaces to satisfy each person in our family. She has a keen eye for design that also makes a lot of sense. Healthy Home has also been very professional throughout the plan approval process, and has provided several revisions to the plans without any hassle.
