Professional doesn’t begin to describe what it was like working with Heartland Design & Remodeling! Worry-free major remodel projects finished on schedule, and on budget. Any minor issues (and I emphasize minor) were immediately addressed. Everyone from the designers, project manager, to the individual trade leads was respectful and a pleasure to deal with. Great communication regarding what particular work was scheduled for on what days. The entire process and team from project estimate, to design, and execution were fantastic. Tony Seal and David Perez were great to deal with in the day-to-day execution of the project.

NVS completed a major home renovation for us a few years ago, but since then we have used them for smaller projects. They are great to work with and their work superb. On some projects they have done the work themselves, but on other smaller items they provided the contact info for the subs they use and we have worked with them directly. When we started I never thought we would have such a long term relationship, but they are wonderful and we will go to them for most everything.

NVS has completed THREE major renovations on our house. I simply would not hire any other company. I know this sounds like an exaggeration, but it's true. The company comes to work every day; we've never had an increase in the contract once it was agreed upon and signed. The company provides excellent designing help (and I needed it!) Our 2nd renovation cost over $200,000; after it was done, I told NVS they could send any potential customers to see our house. We had many visitors. One of my neighbors did the exact same renovation. The staff is reliable, patient with questions, and professional. The 3rd project was a total renovation of our bathrooms, plus a lot of other areas in the house, including outside work. (Our house was built in 1956.)

NVS did a full remodel on our home over 10 years ago. Kitchen addition, second floor extension for cantilever addition, two full bathrooms, and one half bath, PLUS siding, roof, deck, and concrete patio. The project was ambitious and came in on time and on budget! Our lead carpenter was amazing and it's clear that they have terrific business relationships and partnerships to make it all work. The quality of the work was outstanding and I am grateful everyday.

NVS did a kitchen and living room remodel for us and did a fantastic job from start to finish. Each of the professionals I worked with along the way were organized, prompt, and knowledgeable. They adhered to the schedule and were fantastic with communication. Would not consider any other remodeling company after using NVS.

We are building a new home. NVS designed our kitchen, mud/laundry room, and bathrooms. Each room has turned out better than we imagined. They made the entire process not only easy but enjoyable. Their knowledge coupled with the respect they had for us and the project made for an ideal situation.

If you want a company that will (a) not provide any type of design expertise (b) be completely sloppy with your project and (c) take no responsibility the second they have your money, this is the company for you. Absolutely horrible experience start to finish. We told their employee multiple times we wanted glass doors on the cabinet (which as a design firm they should have known anyway because it was for glassware over a bar). The guy didn't write anything down. We asked repeatedly for the details of the order and all they sent us was manufacturer codes which we couldn't tell anything from. We paid half up front, half on delivery. The cabinets arrived with wood doors. We called and they told us go ahead and pay for the order and they would fix it so we paid the second half by credit card. We have now spent two months trying to get them to provide the glass doors we ordered. They screwed it up, told us they would fix it to get us to pay, then have refused to make it right. And they have been aggressively unpleasant the entire time. Their best offer is for us to buy new cabinets at cost and eat the cost of the original cabinets, based on their mistake. Avoid this firm like the plague. I would burn my house to the ground before dealing with this firm again.

We would highly recommend NVS. We were treated courteously and professionally from our first contact through the entire project, even after when they asked to photograph our finished job. Their design staff created an innovative solution for our old kitchen. The carpenter who oversaw our job was professional, courteous, detail-oriented, and a very nice guy. They gave us a projected schedule and stuck to it, completing the entire project on time. We are enjoying our new kitchen and bath, and would use NVS again.

NVS is a fantastic company! We looked at six companies and met with three before selecting them for our project. The project included renovating and adding an addition to the kitchen, and renovating three bathrooms: the master and hall baths and the powder room. Also, the wood flooring was refinished throughout and new windows were installed. This three-month project went very smoothly and we had amazing interest and day-to-day support from the company’s executives and owner. Plus, the NVS model is to keep an NVS lead on the job-site at all times providing a single point of contact to work with. NVS was very accommodating during the design process and worked with us to get what we wanted in a beautiful design. All changes during the project were handled quickly and always to our satisfaction. I can say with absolute confidence the most critical ingredient to a successful remodeling project is the selection of your prime contractor and the people who make up NVS are absolutely top-notch, they care, they will take an active interest in your project and in helping YOU get what YOU want! They have my highest recommendation.

Wow, beautiful, cozy, nice, excellent quality work; these are just a few of the comments I received from friends, family, and neighbors on the renovations NVS completed on my home. NVS is a great company to work. The staff is comprised of qualified, respectful, caring, and genuinely nice individuals that provide fabulous service, attention to detail, and guidance from start to finish. Having seen many poor renovations by other companies in my neighborhood, I was more than hesitant in hiring a company. Dave Paccassi, my sales representative listened carefully to my ideas for the renovation, answered all my questions, followed up when he indicated he would so I was comfortable in signing a contract. He also arranged for me to see a home NVS had added a second story enabling me to see all facets of the company’s capabilities. Designer’s, Jessica Page and Dawn Parker were knowledgeable of county code when designing and offered suggestions on lighting, colors, cabinet pulls, steps, etc. Jeff Breeding, project manager saw to the day to day activities, ensured my project was completed according contract and on time. The entire process went smoothly and without any complications. Glen Miracle stopped in from time to time inquiring on how I was doing living in a construction zone and provided a nice, unexpected, yet thoughtful gift. NVS remodeled my kitchen, screened-in porch, and master bathroom and added a portico for my front door. The project included new siding, roofing, flooring throughout my first level, new skylights, as well as a stacked-stone fireplace and new mantel. NVS turned my cute little 1940’s house into an updated, beautiful home. I could not be more pleased with the results and highly recommend this company for your home remodeling services.

My wife and I hired NVS to finish our basement (approx. 1,400 sq. ft; previously unfinished). The NVS team brought a well-qualified, professional group of individuals to oversee project management, design, trades and construction. Our project consultant, Chris Mirko, was attentive, focused, and accommodating throughout our engagement. Our master carpenter and the trades team were highly experienced and met our project timelines and agreed-upon costs. We're extremely satisfied with NVS and our new basement; job well done.

Our experience with NVS Remodeling and Design was nothing short of amazing from beginning to end. From the moment we met our consultant to the date of completion, the journey has been the best experience we have had with a remodeling and design company. NVS was not only creative, reliable and professional but they showed such a commitment to detail that we knew we would recommend them and only them for referrals. We are overwhelmed and impressed with everything NVS has done for us.

We selected NVS for our kitchen addition/remodel, master bathroom and entire main level flooring. After doing a lot of online prescreening of design build firms, I had selected 4 firms to come out. They were the only firm that came out with a designer, took detailed measurements and several pictures on their first visit. Within a few days I received a handwritten note from Chris, our NVS rep, thanking us for letting them come out. They were not pushy or “salesy” in trying to get our business but subtly kept the ball rolling by following up with us a week later and then again the following week with an invitation to their showroom to see some preliminary high level designs of our kitchen and bath. We hadn’t even signed or paid a dime. Meanwhile, I’m still waiting for the other firms to follow up. By the time they followed up, I already felt very attached with NVS. They matched us up with their architect designer, Dawn. She was so patient with me and was able to draw out of me what I was looking for. We went through 3 or 4 drafts to get it perfect and she nailed it! She really knows her stuff. Once the work was to actually begin, we were matched up with lead carpenter, Paul. We loved him! He put up a plastic barrier (with a zip up/down “door”) to keep the dust out of the living areas as much as possible. He arrived on time, kept the subs on schedule and asked me about all those little details that I hadn’t even thought of BEFORE actually installing certain items. He worked with me on laying out our shower tile on my bedroom floor first to make sure the tile variation looked good (his idea). He cleaned up at every days end. Our project came out beautiful and on budget. They estimated 10 weeks but it took 12 weeks due to a fabrication issue with the bathroom granite that set it back. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They may not be flashy or the cheapest but I wouldn’t trust my project to anyone else. Five Stars!

NVS is everything you want for design and remodeling of bath and kitchen. The design and remodel of our kitchen gave us more space and functionality than we thought we could have. Our master bath is a dream come true. They took the the time to get to know us, which ultimately paid off. The workmanship was impeccable and the most amazing thing: they came in with a schedule and stuck to it. 6 weeks for a kitchen and 2 bathrooms. No surprises along the way.

NVS was recommended to us by several co-workers. We were not disappointed. NVS customer service and workmanship were exceptional. We are very happy with our beautiful kitchen and would highly recommend them.. In budget, on time and making the customer happy are priorities for NVS.

Three good reasons to go with NVS: you get one person to coordinate everything who is on the job every day and answers your questions, in my case, almost day or night! Second, the quality of the work is excellent. The subs - especially the painter - are all great at what they do, come when they say will they will come and finish when they say they will finish. Third, the quality of the DuraSupreme cabinets is amazing. I have lived in my home for 28 years and feel that it has never been to easy to work in my kitchen.

This company was the best! After having a bad experience with a prior contractor, I was apprehensive about going forward with our project - but Glen Miracle and his team could not have been better. The project from the start was done professional; on time; and under budget. All of our questions were answered promptly and the work was held to a high standard. We are thrilled with the end product.

Great company. RichPerkins and his staff were incredibly. Helpful throughout the design and selection process. The quality of cabinets is very high but the pricing is very competitive. Their installers were the best, on time-neat and tidy and very helpful solving the inevitable last minute adjustments and problems. Highly recommend.

The NVS team did a great job of laying out the design process for our kitchen, master bath, hall bath, foyer closet redesign, and modifications to our office. Our designer, Jessica, worked with us from our home, the NVS showroom, vendor showrooms, and just about anywhere that made sense. Once we resolved the physical layouts we then focused on material choices (i.e. counter-tops, floors, walls, lighting, appliances, etc). Susan and I made quite a few visits to the showroom and worked with quite a few of the NVS staff. They each worked like an integrated team focused solely on our project. They made great suggestions and truly facilitated with the overwhelming choices. The project manager (Dave) laid out the entire plan and we agreed to a start and end date. The Trades Meeting at our house facilitated meeting the entire work staff, and addressing any issues that we might have. Our project foreman/carpenter (Tony) was a great asset to the team. He kept us informed along the way with email, text, and photos. Sometimes he left notes as reminders about specific milestones or actions that were required of us. We were amazed at the speed and cleanliness of the destruction tasks. They kept barriers and runners everywhere to protect the other rooms and furniture. Every issue that we raised was typically addressed the following day. We truly enjoyed coming home to review the daily changes and progress. The walk-through was amazing and we were thrilled to finally have a beautiful kitchen and elegant bathrooms. Every aspect of this home update was enjoyable. We enjoyed working with the entire NVS team and they turned our ideas into a vision and a beautiful home. We highly recommend NVS for your design to build projects. They are a great team !!

Impeccable planning and follow-through, meticulous craftsmanship, a company that puts quality and customer satisfaction first - if this is what you are seeking in your remodeling project, then I highly recommend NVS. They made the design, planning, scheduling and implementation of our kitchen remodel a painless experience. We were impressed by the organization and professionalism of each employee we worked with. They allowed us to move at our own pace during the design process, and once we had worked with the designer and selected each element, our project was scheduled. We were kept well-informed throughout the process, and the our remodel was finished on time. We were treated as valued customers by each and every member of NVS, and they were a pleasure to have in our home.

We have re-modeled homes in several communities around the U.S., including other homes in the DC-metro area. We have used various models, such as acting as our own general contractor and working with a general contractor. Despite lots of experience, we are thrilled that for our latest re-model, including kitchen and master bath, we decided to use a “design-build” company for the job, and that we selected NVS as our partner. We interviewed three other companies and found NVS to possess the “entire package”: great reputation and customer recommendations, knowledgeable and creative sales and design staff, experienced, dedicated lead carpenter, and responsive and engaged management. The NVS designer Alison was creative and always made herself available. The NVS team was respectful of our budget, and gave us time to make our many selections of tile, lighting, appliances, and paint colors. Their lead carpenter Paul was onsite every day and did his best to keep the worksite clean of dust. He was also considerate of our preferences for height and location of things, e.g. towel bars, hooks, etc. and even went the extra mile to create a “railing” for taller bottles in the rollout “spice drawers.” The company was very thoughtful, made us feel important to their business, and special (such as having professional photos done for houzz.com) and presenting us with a gift basket at the completion of the project. Whether you have lots of experience, or are a first-timer, NVS is a great choice for helping you to capture and deliver your vision for your re-modelling project.

We had interviewed 4 other companies, prior to meeting with Dave Paccassi at the Home Show. We were able to look at the before and after book of other projects that NVS had done it the past. There was no pressure, just conversation. We were asked to schedule Dave to come out and look at our bathroom and we did. There price was a few thousand more than the other quotes we received but I had a better "feel". This was our 2nd bathroom remodel. (Our first remodel there were a lot of errors - it was frustrating, poorly executed, many delays, excuses, etc). Dave and Kris Forness worked closely with us and guided us through the selection process. Rafael Cartegena, the lead carpenter was just amazing and he worked so hard. He treated our house like his own. Gary Cooper and his partner, Brian did a terrific job with the tile work. All the guys worked their butts off. There was a slight delay in getting the glass shower doors and the project went a little longer than 1st thought....but they and we made the best of it. We were kept in the loop and any concerns were brought immediately to our attention. When we had a few concerns, they were addressed promptly.

NVS Kitchen and Bath is a very professional, well run company that produced excellent results. I love my new bathroom which is a peaceful retreat on a daily basis. It took a long time for me to select and decide on materials and solidify my choices, Alison Martin was very patient, friendly, and wonderful to work with. In my opinion she went above and beyond in helping me make my selections. NVS has very experienced contractors and they solved many difficult problems during the actual renovation. There were a few issues that arose during construction but they were solved with care and concern for my needs and desires. I left them in my home alone as I was caring for invalid parents and they always left it clean and ready to start work the next day. I really love that the owner is involved and attentive to the clients and a man of integrity. Each person on the team contributes to the final outcome. I am working with them now to renovate my kitchen. I trust them and am looking forward to working with them to complete our dreams for the next phase.

NVS Remodeling transformed my galley kitchen to a functional, open space with seating for guests while I cook, beautiful tile backsplash, and black, white and green color scheme. It also features a secret cubby for my 8 year old daughter's art supplies, a shoe cubby for the adjacent mudroom to finally control my shoes, a space for rotating art in the mudroom and new sliding glass doors to the deck. NVS remodeled my kitchen which surpassed my expectations. They were meticulous in making every detail perfect. All of their work was done in a professional manner and each vendor displayed the highest level of respect for my home and for me. NVS's responsibility does not end when the project ends. They stand by their products and workmanship into the future. They made this remodeling project quite easy for me. I love my new kitchen whether I am cooking in it or just simply standing in it.

Our architect/builder recommended NVS Kitchen & Bath to be the designers of our kitchen, baths, and other spaces, and it was truly a pleasure to work with Rich over the course of the design and build of our home at Lake Anna! Rich actively listened to my preferences and vision for the various areas of our home and his design suggestions were right on the mark. He also spent time educating me about the various levels of products and gave us several options in terms of style and cost. He was a great sounding board to get an opinion on decor choices, as well - tile, fixtures, etc. During construction we had to redesign the kitchen island on-the-fly and within a day he had 3 new drawings my in hands for us to discuss. I can't imagine the kitchen being any different now! Rich also tackled the challenge of an outdoor kitchen/grill that would be indoors instead, and we love the results. All told, Rich designed the kitchen, 4 bathrooms, a laundry room, a room-sized closet/laundry, a bar, and an outdoor kitchen. I staunchly recommend this company and continue to work with them as we finish our basement almost three years later.

We worked with NVS Kitchen and Bath while designing our custom home in Woodbridge, VA. Rich Perkins and his team designed our gorgeous kitchen, as well as bathroom vanities, linen closet and Master closet. Rich did an outstanding job, and brought our dream kitchen to life. We are very happy with the end result of our kitchen! NVS is a one stop shop. They managed the design process, project logistics, permitting, etc. I think we were especially lucky with the person that managed the renovation, Mick. He was thorough and meticulous during the entire process.

We combined a tiny kitchen and dining room in our home remodel to create a new kitchen inspired by our love of Colonial Williamsburg, VA. We wanted most of the room to read as inviting wood cabinetry and wrought iron instead of modern. Rich Perkins immediately understood that we wanted all the updates without the stainless steel. His design works beautifully for our busy family and meets all our aesthetic needs. We liked the end result so much we've already hired NVSKB to do another project on a different floor.

Heidi was an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. I'll never know how she had the patience to meet with us time after time to get our kitchen just the way we wanted. I have to admit that my wife and I were apprehensive at first with our kitchen remodeling project. Was there a way to accomplish this remodeling effort in light of topics like the design, the large number of granite, floor and tile choices, and the disruption to our home and schedule among other things? The number one worry however was could we find and trust a contractor with such a valuable asset like our home. Our neighbors recommended NVS Kitchen and Bath to us based on their own positive experience. After several meetings with their design team, we had the opportunity to meet the NVS President/CEO Glen Miracle and after that encounter, we never looked back. Our highest recommendation for NVS stems from several factors: •They provided us with granite and tile suppliers who worked with us on choices. •NVS developed a project schedule based on our input. They started on time, were very efficient each day on the job, and finished the entire project on schedule. Our NVS project lead was at our home bright and early each day. There was minimal disruption to our personal schedules. •NVS’ team of tiling, electrical, painting and plumbing tradesmen were second to none. Their combination of creative talents made our kitchen beautiful and their quality of work was superb. •During and even after the renovation was completed, NVS followed up with us several times (some even in person including Mr. Miracle, the CEO) to assure our complete satisfaction. We have received very positive feedback on the kitchen area. NVS’ work will certainly be a key factor to successful resale of our home in the future. In short, we highly recommend NVS work and craftsmanship and their focus on ensuring customer satisfaction. They are better than 5 Star!

I was thoroughly impressed with everything about NVS, from our initial discussion with Glen at the Dulles Home Expo, through our meetings with the fabulous design/sales team of Christie and James, to the finished project. Everything was handled knowledgably and professionally. I like their business model, their caring and helpful staff and most importantly the fact that our bathroom was done on time and within budget. Any little glitches-- which will happen in any project-- were handled immediately and to our satisfaction.

I had NVS Remodeling & Design redo my 35-year-old kitchen. While I did not want to change the layout too much, there was a built-in desk area I no longer wanted. Designer Alison Martin came up with a plan to utilize the space more effectively. The new pullout pantry makes organizing so easy. The Dura Supreme cherry cabinetry I chose is just beautiful and warm. I admire it every day and now can't believe I lived with my old cupboards for so many years. Other than the cabinets, my favorite part of the kitchen is the flooring. The DuraCeramic floor turned out so nice and compliments the cabinet color. Everyone I dealt with at NVS was incredibly accommodating and professional. I would recommend them.

This is the third project done by NVS in our home. They previously remodelled our kitchen and a guest bathroom, both were extremely well done. This new project included finishing a section of our basement to create a wine cellar/storage/project/hobby room. They also opened a wall on the main level to provide an open stairway to the renovated area. The designer provided excellent ideas and layouts for the project. The master carpenter, who we have had on other projects, has a great attention to detail and always does a superb job. We found NVS to be highly professional and easy to work with. They were very responsive to our questions, ideas and last minute changes. One example of their desire to please customers: We had a lot of cabinetry installed with soft close hinges. However, the hinges that came with the cabinets closed extremely slowly and could not be adjusted. NVS went back to the manufacturer, got all new hinges for the cabinets, and installed them, at no extra charge. That was amazing! NVS will obviously continue to be our go-to company for any remodeling we do on our home!

We recently completed a $100K renovation to our home and contracted with NVS Remodeling & Design to do the majority of the work. This included major renovations to the master bathroom and kitchen as well as minor renovations to other areas of the house. Overall we are very satisfied with NVS and highly recommend them to other homeowners looking to do major and minor improvements. Specifically, we rate NVS design and material recommendations very highly, but the construction process and subsequent quality of the construction require a little more explanation. We spent a lot of time with the NVS designer and salesman, who helped guide us through a number of design and material options until we found exactly what we wanted–although the choices often exceeded our budget, sometimes by a significant amount. In the end, though, we love the way everything looks and feels. The biggest problem for us was that the NVS site manager and contractors were often so busy with other jobs that much of our work kept getting pushed later and later, even though we had a firm completion deadline. This, as well as some ordering delays , resulted in rushed work as the deadline approached–and was ultimately missed–and construction quality issues that we were definitely not satisfied with. However, we feel this is where NVS really distinguishes itself from other contractors we have worked with and why we highly recommend them to other homeowners. Glen Miracle, the owner of NVS, personally took responsibility for these issues and walked through our home with a new site manager and asked us what we were not satisfied with. They went the extra distance to fix everything we did not like to bring the quality up to the level we expected. The final quality of their work is superb and we are extremely pleased. They even come back out after 90 days and one year to check that we are still satisfied with our renovations. We not only highly recommend NVS Remodeling & Design to other homeowners, we will use NVS again for other improvements we plan to do to our home in the next few years because of their commitment to ensuring their customers are completely satisfied with the work.

I can't say enough good things about NVS. Glen has assembled a great team of professionals. From the designers and managers to contractors and tradesmen, all were wonderful to work with and reflect well on NVS. I hired NVS for a complete bathroom and kitchen reno of my 60 year old home. I was given a project estimate of six weeks and the job was completed in six weeks and three days. I entered the project fearing the worst base on horror stories I had heard about renos in general. I count myself fortunate that I experienced nothing remotely close to those horror stories. While there were a handful of unexpected issues, they were resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner. Not only do I "highly recommend" NVS for your project, I will be using them again for several future projects.

Alison Martin and NVS helped us remodel our master bathroom and add a new upstairs bathroom. Alison worked tirelessly to find a layout that achieved our goals. We moved nearly every wall in the space and are thrilled with the final design, which offers much more light and functionality. All of NVS' employees and contractors were very courteous, knowledgable and worked to ensure our satisfaction. Also important was that the project was finished on time and on budget.

NVS Kitchen and Bath Review “Highly Recommended” for a job well done on the renovation of our home is all we have to say about NVS Kitchen and Bath. Saying that it was the best decision we made in hiring NVS is an understatement. After attending multiple home shows and talking to many remodelers we settled on three out of the dozen we talked to, and invited them to give us an estimate. The first salesperson sat in our kitchen, asked us some questions, looked around then said it would cost about XXXXXX much, we asked how he came up with that number and he said it was based on similar jobs they have done in the past, then he whipped out a contract and wanted around $5000 to start the design process. We said “Hold on” as we were not ready to sign anything since he was the first salesperson to give us a quote. Next up was Scott Ewing from NVS who sat down, asked us questions, then measured the space and took pictures. He did not produce a contract but said he would get back to us within the week with a rough design and cost. A few days later Scott got in touch and emailed us the preliminary design and a quote for the job. It was pretty close to the first estimate but at least we knew what we were getting in terms of the design, cabinets, fixtures and quality of materials to be used on the renovation. My wife and I were impressed with Scott and his knowledge on design and remodeling, so much, that after reviewing the design and proposal, we decided to continue the design process with NVS. Over the next 5-6 weeks we drove out to the NVS showroom in Manassas multiple times to meet with Scott and look at what NVS had to offer. The designer, Dawn, was also there and was a huge help in selecting the cabinets, hardware, and fixtures while we tweaked the design. During the design process Scott said he would come by the house but we preferred going to the showroom. The NVS showroom has at least a dozen kitchen and several bath displays as well as a large variety of cabinets, hardware, and granite on display. Viewing the displays and samples allowed us to tweak our design to get exactly what we wanted. When we were satisfied with the design, we signed a contract that included: •a 10’ x 20’ addition with the basement excavated underneath, •a large custom gourmet Kitchen, •a renovated Powder room, •a custom Master Bath renovation, •a large AZEK deck with a double stairway, •a 15’ x16’ Screened Porch addition, •Tyvek house wrap and re-siding of the whole house with Hardi-Plank, and •Porcelain tile installed in the Kitchen, Eating area, Laundry room, Foyer, and Powder room. This was not a small renovation. It was scheduled for 5 months and the NVS team made it happen. Everyone from NVS was considerate of my property and made sure that whatever was done met our expectations. Even their partners made sure we were happy with the job they were doing or had completed. John, the Project Manager, was a wealth of knowledge and never said that it could not be done, he was great to work with and always asking if it was to our liking, and if not, would redo whatever it was until we were happy. One of the things that impressed us about NVS was the fact that the owner of the company took such a hands on approach in dealing with his customers. He came out to the project multiple times to check on the progress and make sure that his crew was doing a great job and when they left for the day, a clean worksite. Throughout the renovation if we saw something we did not like all we had to do was mention it to the lead carpenter or the project manager and it was fixed or replaced. There were even some gray areas in terms of work and/or material that were not specifically mentioned in the contract that NVS took care of without question or additional cost to us. At the end of the job we allowed NVS to hold an Open House because we wanted to showcase the excellent work that they did and to thank them for doing such a great job for us. We have been very happy with the whole project and overall the renovation exceeded our expectations. Even our friends and neighbors ooh and ahh about the renovation. One of our neighbors was so impressed that they also got a quote for remodeling and had NVS remodel three of their bathrooms as soon as they finished at our house. Currently the neighbor is having additional renovations done at their house by NVS since they did such a fantastic job on their three bathroom renovation. And now another neighbor, impressed with our renovation, has been working with NVS for a second story addition and kitchen renovation. We cannot stress how happy we are with our “new” home and again give NVS a “Highly Recommended”. Our kitchen renovation project with NVS went very well. We are truly thrilled with our new kitchen. It was pretty much a complete gut and remodel project. We worked with their designer up front to develop the concept and define all the details. She was very helpful and responsive to our input, and really made what felt like overwhelming project seem approachable. The cost estimate was clear and fair. In fact, the completed project came in on budget without any unexpected escalations. Their carpenter, who did much of the work, was diligent and always asked us for input where there were choices to be made, which we appreciated. The countertop folks did a fantastic job - the counters came in perfectly with no issues whatsoever. The porcelain floor and glass backsplash tiling turned out very well. Although there were a few hiccups here and there (what project doesn't have these), the project manager was very professional, and always stepped in for a quick resolution. The whole project came in pretty much on schedule - just under six weeks, which we were very happy with. We would definitely recommend NVS.

We hired NVS to transform our completely unfinished basement into a functional recreational space. The finished product came out beautifully! I interviewed four companies before selecting NVS. From day one they provided me with quality customer service and a design that included everything we had wished for and more. We absolutely love everything about our basement and love entertaining in that space. The staff/contractors are all so friendly and helpful and Mr. Miracle and his family are top notch. NVS was able to begin construction within a matter of days and had the project completed in about 3.5 months. I highly recommend NVS and am excited about calling them for our next home remodel project.

NVS remodeled our kitchen and did a fantastic job! They were clean and respectful. They left a calendar to let us know what would be completed each day and they finished on time! Everyone answered every question and concern quickly and fully. The designers worked with us to make the most of our space. We now have a top quality and functional kitchen! We gained so much space! We had a water leak during the process and NVS came right away and fixed everything quickly. NVS is amazing, we would use them again and recommend them without reservation.

NVS completely remodeled our kitchen, powder room, and hall bathroom, as well as installed new hardwood floors throughout our main floor and replaced our banister. We started the project after Labor Day and it was completed by Thanksgiving. Our fabulous lead carpenter, Milton, kept things moving along well and was as picky as we were, fixing things as we went along so there were no items on the punch list at the end of the project! Without exception, all the subcontractors used by NVS were highly professional and did their job correctly the first time. The painter, Julio, did such a great job we hired him to paint other rooms of our house not included in our original plan. For as large a project as we had, it was amazingly stress free. I heartily recommend NVS.

On two different occasions, NVS Remodeling & Design has provided remodeling services at two houses that I have owned. At both houses they did extensive work on remodeling our kitchens and finishing two full basements. Not only did I find their craftsmanship to be exceptional, but they also were instrumental in providing excellent design advice on various options that were complimentary to our desired budgets for the projects. Without exception, every person who has seen the work has commented on the great design work and also the high quality of the work as well. NVS has always been incredibly responsive to time requests by completing projects on schedule and on budget. This was our second time using NVS for a remodel so we already knew the integrity of the owners and the company. They have a well-deserved reputation for getting a job done right. We had very specific goals in mind and they completed every detail to our satisfaction. Every person that was involved in the job - from the designer to each carpenter - was patient as we made decisions, prompt for work at the house and an expert in their field. We recently had the upper floor of our town home remodeled. It was a pretty extensive remodel. The master bathroom, closet and laundry room were torn out down to the studs, and beyond. New walls were built in a completely redesigned floor plan. NVS was recommended to us by a family member who used them for a kitchen and bath remodel. We were told that we would be very happy with them. I can honestly say that was an understatement. From initial sales to the end result, NVS was professional, on time and on budget. We had an unusually difficult design target – maximize usefulness of minimal and inefficient space. We worked with the designer through several revisions to make the best use of the space. The designer had to find some unique solutions for our space. The lead carpenter was outstanding, even with real time changes to the design. The construction zone was isolated and cleaned up every day. The subcontractors were scheduled and managed well. NVS was not the cheapest (not the most expensive either) of the companies we contacted, but they were well worth it. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

We contracted with NVS after getting a referral to redo our kitchen and laundry room. From the initial visit to everyone we came in contact with(including the sub contractors), we discovered a high level of professionalism and a desire to meet our expectations. All of the employees and Glenn are extremely easy to work with and listened to what we wanted. They worked hard to make sure we were happy with each phase. During construction we were able to make adjustments whether it was additions or a change of the plan, they gladly accommodated our request. NVS laid out the cost up front and, unlike many others, kept right on their projected schedule for completion. If there was a delay it was because we couldn't make a decision on time. Our remodeled kitchen and laundry room are gorgeous. There isn't one person that walks through that isn't impressed by the quality of the work. We not only have referred NVS to others(who have also been very pleased with their work), we have used them for other projects. You should feel very comfortable knowing you will get top notch service and quality work.

I purchased a foreclosured town house that had possibly the worst yellow kitchen you ever saw. NVS transformed my space and added thousands of dollars of value to my home. One of their in-house designers came up with the idea to tear down a wall. I would never had thought of that, but it opened up my floor plan and made my home feel much newer than it actual is. Also, their tile-person came to me with ideas of his own. For just a little more cost to me he added decorative glass tiles that really turned my backsplash and floor into a work of art. I'm currently saving up money to redo my master bathroom, and I already plan to give NVS my work.
