Hilltop Lumber is family owned and operated. The company was founded in 1988 in Glenwood, Minnesota, and has grown to four locations in Central Minnesota: Alexandria, Glenwood, Parkers Prairie and Ottertail, Minnesota. Hilltop Lumber also has a design team that can help customers with everything from project design and layout, to choosing paint colors, flooring and cabinet styles. They complete drafting and estimating services, on-site consulting and assistance in choosing reputable contractors. By visiting or calling one of our design center showrooms so we can learn more about your needs, lifestyle, and vision. That way we can create the space you have envisioned on time and within your budget. We help plan, supply and deliver dreams. The employees of Hilltop Lumber work as a team to provide 100 percent customer satisfaction by providing superior design, product knowledge, on-time delivery and service after the sale. Taylor was great to work with. She coordinated all the different services that were needed for the countertops to be installed timely. She answered my questions quickly and never was bothered by all my questions. I used a different provider for my first countertop and working with Taylor was much quicker. Taylor worked with my schedule to the template completed as well as the installation. I would highly recommend Taylor.

Hilltop Lumber helped us design and remodel our home. Russ, James and Taylor came in and took charge. The end result is amazing. We told them our budget and they worked hard to stay within it. Taylor was amazing. She guided me through re-doing our kitchen and did it in a manner that made her so easy to work with. I had no idea what I was doing and she smoothly incorporated my ideas into something that worked beautifully. I would ask her advice on style and what would look best and she would always give me suggestions that would fit my style perfectly. I will definitely use her again!

Kari was very professional at all times. We talked with her at Hilltop Lumber and she then came to our home to measure and to give us an estimate of cost. She kept us informed of the work schedule and of what we needed to have ready when the installers came. Also, we were kept informed of when she would be unavailable because of work related events. We would be comfortable working with her again.

Professional, Efficient, Timely. Project was removing a closet between the front entry way and kitchen. Put in new flooring though out the hall, entryway, kitchen, back entry, and dining area. Laundry area was a hall way closet type of area, back to back with the master walk in closet. We removed the bi-fold doors, and a wall was put in. Removed a wall in the master walk in closet, turned the appliances around. Removed the carpet that was in the master closet and put in new flooring though out the laundry and master closet area. We couldn't be happier with the project. It turned out perfect. All was done so professionally, from Josh Eckhoff, contractor, to Hilltop Lumber. Alex Rupe was so helpful in picking out the flooring. We have had many compliments. Your names have been referred.

Alex rupe was very good to work with. She listened, did the things she said she would promptly, gave good advice, and kept us informed. I am so glad that we chose her and hilltop lumber in ottertail for our kitchen and flooring project. I think going local was not only the right thing to do, but superior in price and service to the big box stores.

Kari is the best!!!! What I appreciated the most was that she took care of business ASAP. She was able to get the initial quote to us within a week's time! I consider Kari our General Contractor on this job. She lined everything up from ordering product to scheduling the workers to billing to trouble shooting. It all went so smoothly. Kari knows her products, kept us up-to-date on expense, scheduled the work in a timely fashion. What an asset to Hilltop Lumber! Kari made us feel as thougth we were her only client. Any question or need was addressed immediately. We have built several houses in other communities but have never had such wonderful care, attention, service as we have had working with Kari!
