We hired Chris and team in 2021 to do a full kitchen remodel, we had several issues throughout the process with delays, communication, etc. we signed our contract in June 2021 and our kitchen was not completed until Feb 2022. This was during a time of COVID remodels so we understood things were taking longer than usually and we were trying to be patient but even once demo started, we had an unfinished kitchen for 3 months and when we reached out for an update we were told misleading information. All that said, overall we were pleased with the final result, it was what I envisioned for my kitchen and I was initially very happy. I'm writing this review 3 years later because after only a couple years of using our brand new kitchen we noticed several issues. The cabinets are not closing properly, the bottoms of our cabinet and island were not painted, there was no caulking so the cabinets look like they are coming off the wall, the wrong insert was ordered for our built in microwave (I even asked about this while they were installing and Chris assured me it was correct), pictures attached. This has bothered me so much that now we are going to have to hire someone else to fix it. Overall the craftsmanship is not up to par and when you are paying just under 6 figures for a kitchen remodel I'm really disappointed that I already need to make changes/repairs after such a short period of time.

Hello Joy I am so very sorry that you are having problems with your kitchen I thought when we left it looked amazing however I see now that it seems some items should have been handled during our final walk-thru. You have access to my personal number along with our office number and if you would have made me aware of these items I would have been happy to come and resolve these final details. We offer a one year warranty on all of our construction work that is pretty much the industry standard but I would be happy to come and fix these items as they should have been done from the beginning. Again I apologize this has been bothering you for so long and again I wish you would have simply reached out to us.

Didn't finish job, had to clean up and caulk myself. I even saved them a day of work by painting. What should've been a 3-4 week job turned into almost TEN! No matter the owner's rebuttal, I highly suggest to NOT HIRE!

Jason Thank you for the review I do think its relevant I do respond to all my reviews and I also think its relevant the entire truth be told. When meeting with you I had concerns about taking this project as every single project done at your home you told me you have not been satisfied with weather it was a roof repair, landscaping, or any other work at your home you had nothing good to say. The project was completed however you where unhappy with the caulking that was done in the shower and I would have been happy to come and recalk any areas you had taken issue with. We both know this to be true because you where unhappy with drywall work that was done as you told me and my staff that you wake up at 3:00AM to see the walls at different lighting??? So I paid to have another drywall company come and re-drywall walls that were to be covered with mirrors and cabinets. You chose to paint yourself as you claimed your painting was better than my staffs. Regarding the timeline its hard to complete a project when the client is A) standing over staff asking constant questions about work they know needs to be done, B) giving (not needed) direction, C) hold long unnecessary conversations in hopes that they will have a beer with you after there shift, or D) Correcting work trying to satisfy the unsatisfiable. I think the most alarming thing about my experience working with you was that you tracked me down at my home texting me to come outside and have a beer with you when you where not invited nor did I willingly give you my home address. I hope other contractors read this as well so I can in fact warn them about working with a client such as yourself.

Chris was very knowledgeable about all aspects of the building process. He has connections for all the stages involved for needing to build our home. It is especially advantageous to have the Architect be the general contractor because if any potential changes are needed during the building process he can make them quickly and avoid delays in the building process. He also oversees and ensures the building process is being done very well. He is very easy to work with and has understanding of unique situations. Either he or his office manager, Alex, are always available to reach if you ever have a problem or need information. They work very well together! We would highly recommend working with them!

Took a while due to supply chain issues but it is finally finished and we LOVE our kitchen. Chris's staff was always on time and considerate of our time and space. They were great! Great staff to bounce ideas off of and they always worked to make it happen.

I highly recommend Chris and his whole team at Innovative Custom Homes. Everyone who worked on my home showed nothing but professionalism, courtesy, and a level expertise in remodeling my dream kitchen. The team addressed any concerns I had throughout the process with promptness and a willingness to adjust plans to my individual needs. My new kitchen is even better than I had envisioned, thanks to the tireless work of Chris and his team. I would be happy to work with them again on future projects!

Chris and his team built my wife and I an incredible custom home. Everyone on his team was a pleasure to deal with and did a great job. Building a custom home can be very stressful, Chris was there every step of the way and took care of all our concerns and the issues that arise during construction. Chris was very patient during the design process, as my wife and I reviewed his drawings and made changes. The result is a house that we love. Thanks Chris, Valerie and all the rest of the team.

Initial measurements taken on December 20th. Checked on progress of drawings several times after 2 weeks had passed. Finally was told on January 15th design drawings would be complete that day. January 16th - 24th I requested updates on 6 different occasions with no reply until January 24th. Was told again I would have design drawings by end of the day. Drawings were not sent and no follow up to say why. January 25th and still no reply to follow up emails or calls. It has now been over 1 month since measurements were taken and still no basic design drawings delivered that should take no more than 1-2 weeks.

Chris is the best, and the whole team is excellent. Cannot recommend IDCI enough. We wouldnt be able to build our custom dream home without them!

Chris is down to earth and has a fantastic demeanor for doing business. He is currently helping us with the design and build of our new construction! He's been more than helpful (he walks you through the entire process step-by-step from start to finish) and really goes above and beyond for his clients. He works with an awesome team that are equally helpful. We are happy to have found him and would highly recommend him for any job.
