We worked with Insite to renovate a portion of a house that we bought that was just about right but needed some consolidating of bedrooms, reorientation of bathrooms and adding of custom closets. It wouldn’t be an understatement to say that I was extremely nervous going into this as it was our first ever renovation project. It also wouldn’t be an understatement to say that under the stewardship of the entire team at Insite but particularly our project manager Christina Clark, our entire endeavor was professionally done, timely and beautifully executed with an attention to detail that has brought our vision for this house into fruition. Christina is as thorough and detail oriented as you could ever hope someone to be when dealing with your home and then some. She often brought things to our attention that we would never have noticed on our own and could’ve easily slipped through the cracks. Lucky us that my nervousness was proven completely unfounded in the best way possible.

The InSite Team did a fantastic job with my modest 1st floor renovation. They gave my kitchen a full facelift - new cabinets, countertop, backsplash, etc, installed a gorgeous, custom full wall bookshelf in my newly converted home office, installed wood floors in 3 rooms, and updated a bathroom. The work was done on schedule by a well skilled team that was very easy to work with. The project was done in two parts at my request, which was very helpful. Christina Clark led the kitchen portion of the work and was terrific. She was able to quickly solve issues as they arose and is a very responsive communicator. Stephan Bernstorf was the project manager on the rest of the work and was also awesome - super responsive, thoughtful, and a problem solver. I didn't move any walls, add rooms, or do anything major, but the InSite team still treated me like I was a very important customer and I really appreciated that. Everything looks fantastic - the quality level is very high. I definitely recommend them for any job - large or small.

Onsite has a great team to help a redesign or update of your home. The design team of Tom and Stephan are true professionals on thoughtful design of the project. They listen and ask great questions to ensure they are designing to the needs of the client. Christina did a fantastic job working with all the tradesmen who implemented the kitchen and bathroom updates. Christina communicates effectively the daily progress of the project. InSite Builders did a complete remodel of my Bethesda kitchen in 2009. It was beautifully and professionally done on budget and on time. I rented my house five year ago to tenants who subsequently bought the house. I contacted Insite at various times to do minor repairs and one major appliance replacement (the dishwasher). As a homeowner and landlord, I felt confident that Insite would treat my tenants as professionally and respectfully as they had treated me. InSite was recommended to us by a neighbor who hired them for a large home renovation – much larger than the project we had in mind. We were concerned our project would not be big enough for a full-service design/build firm, but from the beginning, InSite was transparent, professional, communicative and consistent about their process. The owner, Stephen Gordon, was very deliberate in his meeting style and it was clear he had a process and a certain cadence to the business origination process that was developed over many years of practice. His clear and considerate style helped win our business, but his team’s accountability and follow-through during each step of the design and build process (including small follow-up items going on a year post-completion) is what has made us InSite fans. The firm came through on everything they promised. They listened to what we wanted, and we got exactly what we were hoping for from our remodel. Our project manager John was great, as was Tito a skilled carpenter. Their sub-contractors all appeared to work well with InSite and our limited interactions with the subs were positive and constructive. As noted above, even though the project is done, the InSite team is quick to respond whenever we call. We would use them again for other projects in our home and have recommended them to our neighbors.
