About Us

Founded in 2011, INTENSIONdesign is a full service Design+Build firm located in Los Angeles, CA. Creating primarily high-end residential and commercial spaces, our work has included projects in the prestigious Sierra Towers, The Grove and several homes along the Hollywood Hills. Focusing on the implementation of contemporary styles, INTENSIONdesign understands that million dollar projects are made in the smallest details. Having become known for their detailed construction documents and construction method, they are less interested in theoretical issues than they are in the basic principles of space, function and material transitions. Whether the project is a 500 sq ft remodel or a 12,000 sq ft new construction, their goal is to design and build a space that satisfies their clients and the built environment it inhabits.

SUB-CONTRACTORS BEWARE. Brenda got my land surveying firm involved on a project that she paid the retainer for, then we completed the work for existing conditions survey. When the work was completed and delivered, we wanted to receive our second half of payment. She informed us that she did not get the contract with client, and that she would not be paying our remaining fee. We are left to collect from a client we never interacted with. She has ghosted us since then. Poor business practices, low quality ethics.
