J2 Design and Build

Hired J2 for small wet bar install, where plumbing was already in place. Should have been a straight forward easy project. Started in September, for anticipated thanksgiving completion. It’s March now, and they will not respond to me. I hired them because they claimed they could manage project start to finish, design to completion, any and all subcontractors needed would be coordinated by J2. Designer disappeared, was told she never placed orders. Cabinets were incorrectly delivered to my house requiring me to figure out how to get them off truck and inside. J2 should have received delivery or at a minimum been at my house to unload truck and carry downstairs. Cabinet installer messed up, disappeared, requiring new materials to be reordered. Wrong granite countertop was delivered- needed to be reordered. Cabinet hardware never ordered. Project manager could not manage, told others work was completed that hadn’t been. Bar Fridge that I was told was ordered in October was never ordered. Was told they would find another vendor. Not sure who they purchased from, it arrived damaged and J2 will not replace or provide purchase invoice to allow me to get it fixed under warranty. I needed to hire someone to come fix it, who told me it had definitely been dropped which is why doors were not aligned and didn’t close properly. I need purchase invoice to get it fixed under warranty. I have all electronic documentation detailing their incompetency and I will happily share it with anyone considering hiring this business. I'ved had a number of jobs done on my house due to winter damage. Jon repaired my place and did a great job at a decent price. I plan on other work to be done in the future. Always get a quote from him!

I couldn't recommend a better team for your house project(s). My project was remodeling my first floor and knocking down walls, demolition to the studs, and rebuilding a large open concept kitchen. They were kind, professional, flexible, reliable, talented and highly-efficient!!! Hands down...the best team I have ever had the pleasure to work with..(and I've done a lot to my house!)

My faucet in surround shower leaked and was damaged when trying to repair. Called J2 design who gave estimate and repaired faucet but had to remove and replace vanity to access. All work was done professionally on schedule and to my satisfaction.

Working with J2 was great experience. We provided "rough" drawings for a porch addition to our camp. Their team was professional, very skilled and worked on our addition as if it was their own. I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future.

J2 Design and Build has done several job for me over the last 6 years... I am very happy to give a 5 Star Review for a company that has returned every phone and email... makes house calls when needed and has backed up their work since day one... all while offering the most competitive rates in the business.
