John Newton-Design & Development

John Newton has designed 6 projects for me. He has an awesome ability to capture the vision of the project with the clients needs, and the unique requirements of the site. I have found his designs refreshing and he operates fluidly in many different styles. He is very easy to work with, attentive to details, works well with all aspects of the permitting process, and importantly has an easy going demeanor that works well in complex neighborhood discussions. He is a great member of a building team and works well with other building professionals. He has a competent staff that compliments his approach. I would recommend John Newton with out reservation.

John helped plan and did drawings for a small residential renovation. His plans meshed well with seismic design undertaken at the same time. He was helpful in space planning, and drew several alternatives. He shared electronic files (not all architects are willing to do this), which was super helpful.
