We had a great experience working with every member of the JDBG team to add a bathroom, renovate a bathroom, and make structural changes to our entryway and office. The design team listened to our goals and came up with an amazing design to transform the space we already had into something so much more useful and beautiful. The new layout is perfect and looks as though it has always been that way. We appreciated the high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. The JDBG team was great at communicating throughout the entire process and very responsive to our feedback. Having a project manager on site was invaluable. We’re so happy with our new spaces.

We had an excellent experience working with David and Shelley and ended up with the most beautiful kitchen that is just what we wanted. Because of their process and attention to detail, our project stayed on track and on budget. It was reassuring to have a project manager on site. We are thrilled with our experience with Jordan Design-Build and the final results of a major renovation. Our 25 year old condo in Fairfax was ready for a full renovation in the kitchen and two baths, and a complete update with fresh paint, floors, lighting, ceiling fans and hardware throughout the other rooms. We met with David Jordan and Shelley, his design director for an initial consultation where they asked lots of questions to understand our desire for the space, our tastes and our ultimate objective. Then Dave and his team went to work developing ideas and and a proposal for our home. A few weeks later, we met again and they presented conceptual ideas, design alternatives, cost estimates and a preliminary plan to transform our home. At this point, it was an easy decision to select them for the project and this was the beginning of a very positive experience with Jordan Design and Build. Throughout the process Dave and his team were very thorough and customer focused as they guided us through various decisions and all the selections of cabinets, tile, flooring, appliances, lighting, hardware, doors, paint colors, etc. They developed a comprehensive plan for the entire process, meticulous drawings for permitting and construction, and a detailed schedule for all the stages of work and different trades that would be involved. Remarkably, the project took place from February to June 2021 in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, but stayed on schedule and finished on time. And most importantly, Dave and his team managed every aspect of the project and every single detail while keeping us informed every step of the way. We highly recommend Jordan Design-Build for their customer focused approach, professional guidance on key decisions, attention to the fine details, quality workmanship, and strong communications. Our condominium feels like a completely new home thanks to Dave and his professional team.

We did a full renovation of our kitchen, 3 bathrooms, a gut of our entire basement, and new paint/floor resurfacing throughout. The process was delightful from start to finish and the workmanship and materials were all top-notch. JDBG took over the project management and research while incorporating our style/design ideas. Our house is now incredible and we couldn't be happier - we're continuing to work with JDBG for exterior/landscaping work.

My husband and I came to Jordan Design-Build Group with the idea of enclosing our screened-in porch to create a year-round room. Conversations with David, Shelley, Courtney and Greg led to a new addition that has fundamentally changed the way we use our home. The team listened carefully and their combined engineering, organizational, design and architectural expertise gave us solutions that we never would have thought of. We now have a large sunroom on the main level, expanded storage and new gardening and carpentry spaces on the lower level, and a new deck and a larger patio outside. Our front entry is also getting a facelift. Construction was well underway when COVID-19 emerged and we especially appreciate that David worked with us on a safety protocol to allow work to continue. The JDBG team is easy to reach and regularly updates us on the status of work. David is very well connected in the industry. The tradesmen he uses are amongst the best and the quality of the materials and workmanship is excellent. David introduced us to a landscape architect who fine-tuned drainage plans and made helpful recommendations for our patio, extending the transformation to our backyard.

I have been fortunate to photograph various remodeling projects for Jordan Design Build for their portfolio and website. We completed a total kitchen remodel in 2019, including refinishing our floors and painting all rooms throughout the main floor. We needed to move gas lines so it was very important to me to work with a firm that had access to architects and structural engineers if needed. I also had some pretty solid ideas about what I wanted. From the first meeting, Shelley and David at JDBG were very easy to work with. I felt listened to and that my ideas were respected throughout the project. I had been dreaming about and planning this kitchen for 17 years! Shelley and David brought my vision to life. I couldn’t be happier!

We renovated virtually our entire home in 2013 with Jordan Design-Build with the exception of the guest bathroom, and then we returned to them for that job in spring 2019. The 2013 renovation included the addition of a full kitchen and master bedroom/bathroom suite. For both projects, everyone on the team was friendly, responsive, honest, and professional. David was extraordinarily communicative at every stage of the process, and presented various options to help us cost-engineer our projects so we could make informed decisions. Moreover, the exact same crew worked on our second project six years later! This consistency was one of the many reasons it was easy to trust that we were in good hands. We highly recommend them!

I interviewed Jordan Design-Build Group for a remodel/update on my house after 34 years. We did a total Master Bathroom renovation. Removed tub and put a walk-in shower, toilet, sink and vanity. All tile replaced. Small space but worked very well. Bathroom was phase 1. In Addition we had the the fireplace hearth redone, hardwood floors re-stained, new carpet and paint throughout and a great closet remodel with towers, double racks and bright LED lighting. So organized now.! Staff was wonderful to work with! One small issue for a closet door that was replaced was promptly taken care of so I was impressed with the follow-up. I would recommend them! Very happy client!!

1st I asked to give them a review because I wanted to share what a great job they did. David and his team were very easy to work with, very creative and very professional including the daily workers. I liked that Jordan Design took care of EVERYTHING from initial consultation, to design, to the clean up when the work was done. And most importantly the beautiful results speak for themselves.

We hired Jordan Design-Build Group to makeover our main powder room and kitchen. The team was extremely thorough in their design estimate and construction. We were presented three design options (a high, medium, and low cost option) and spent a great deal of time discussing ways to cut cost, but still receive a high-end finished product. David and Shelley were helpful in selecting finishes and accessories (including: cabinetry, paint color, wallpaper, tiles, lighting, and mirrors). Their response time was fast and I never felt rushed to make a decision. We replaced all the kitchen cabinet doors, the backsplash, the under-cabinet lights, the garbage disposal, and also added a filter faucet to our kitchen sink. David's team was not only super quick to get things done, they were professional and kind. We were most impressed with the excellent care they took in covering our hardwood floors to protect them from demo debris, equipment, and general wear and tear. Each person was happy to entertain our two toddlers who were very curious about what was happening in their home and asked so many questions. We would love to work with them again on another project in our home and have recommended them to our friends and family in the area.

Working with the team for many years I have seen first hand the quality of the work they provide their clients. They take pride in their design process- informing their clients of their options, coming up with creative ideas for each project, and making sure the products specified are quality material at a great value. Their attention to detail most certainly carries on into the construction phase of the project. In the design community I think it is extremely important for companies to stay informed on new products being introduced to the market. JDBG team does just that - they have spent time attending various manufacturer educational trainings such as Kohler and Jenn-Air to name a couple and also different design events such as the Architectural Digest show. The whole process was beyond easy with Shelly coming to my house with samples, designing the layout and a quick but more important beautiful install. Jordan Design-Build group designed and performed a major renovation of our master bathroom. From start to finish, David, Shelley, Tamara and their crew were professional and easy to work with. The level of communication and attention to detail far exceeded our experience with contractors in the past. The regular contact and involvement by their team during the design and construction process kept us moving forward in a manner that enabled us to get the project completed early and within budget. Shelley figured out our style quickly and made the design selection process easy and efficient. David was on site most days during the construction process which enabled him to address any issues right away. Because of Jordan’s professional and detailed approach, a normally disruptive project was completed with very little disruption. 3 years ago we had a complete kitchen remodel with Jordan Design-Build Group. After using this kitchen for the last three years we wouldn't change a thing. The design team of David and Tamara were wonderful. They listened to our needs and were able to deliver the kitchen we desired. We have some unique features including a custom cabinet over our refrigerator which stores all of our trays vertically and a barn door for our pantry. I simply described the type of tile for the back splash and Tamara showed up at the house with exactly what I wanted. I didn't need to spend any time in a tile store searching. Additionally, we had all of the flooring on both levels of the house done. The entire process from design to completion was done in a timely manner. We continue to be pleased with the quality of work that was done!

Jordan Design-Build Group was such a find! We did a partial renovation to our Glover Park rowhouse, which included finishing a basement and giving it a bath and kitchenette. On the second floor, we had one tiny bathroom and 5 odd rooms that were transformed into a more functional beautiful space. They pulled and replaced the existing bath to function as a guest bath. Then they re-purposed one of the bedrooms into an amazing master bath that makes us feel like we are on vacation when we enter the room. David and Tamara were a pleasure to work with. David made a daunting project go smoothly, and Tamara had great design ideas. They helped us figure out how to get the most out of our budget, and kept us on track. The benefit of working with a design-build firm is that you've got your contractor and architect in close communication, since they are under one roof, so to speak.

I engaged JDBG to renovate the kitchen and bathroom in my 1904 farmhouse. I was most impressed with their willingness to really listen to my goals regarding budget and design. David and Tamara’s technical knowledge helped us work through challenges presented by the age of my house. Shelley really understood my aesthetic and sourced some fabulous elements such as my colorful cement tiles and custom artisan glass window. The workmanship was impeccable. In addition to their creativity and competence, the team was unfailingly professional. I recommend them without reservation.

David Jordan and team did a wonderful renovation in our lower level and our master bathroom. The work went very smoothly because David manages his excellent craftsman and timelines with detail and diligence. We also re-insulated and replaced our entire HVAC. Our home is much more comfortable. We love it!
