Every cost was agreed in advance and there were zero surprises at the end. The wonderful design team helped us to uncover a sense of our personal style that we never knew we had ;)

From start to finish Just Basement was top rate. The design team took into account all of our wishes plus a few whims. During the construction phase, the team was not only very skillful but also very accommodating and courteous. In addition the production manager was on top of it all at all times. I hired Just Basements to finish my basement and was very pleased with the process and the outcome. I was able to be as involved as I wanted to be during the design phase and to trust them to not only bring forward ideas but also to handle technical details and then the smooth execution of the project. When I was unexpectedly transferred to another city by my employer, Norm and the team were great at working with me to scale back the original vision and economize. The timeframe for the project was reasonable, the site tidied daily, and the quality of work excellent. Everyone was professional and friendly. I would strongly recommend them and hope to work with them again in the future.

We chose Just Basements over the other companies that we looked at because of their expertise in design and the great reviews that we had from other past clients. They were extremely professional and polite in the house, and cleaned up after themselves every day. They completed the basement within a reasonable time frame, and did not leave anything unfinished. They have been easy to reach for questions, even 2 years after completion - they take a lot of pride in the work they have done.

Norm and his team were excellent. The planning was very detailed and in the end proved to be vital to the success of the project. Our project started and ended on schedule. Originally we had a 1980s panelled basement which Just Basements renovated into a seamless extension of the rest of our home. Our project included opening up many small rooms and creating a family room with a gas fireplace surrounded by stonework and with shelving units/cupboards on each side, an open area for my husband's artwork and guitar instruments as well as a beautiful 3 piece spa like bathroom and guest bedroom. Two windows were enlarged to allow for proper egress. The team that worked on our space was friendly, informative, and skilled - a pleasure to work with. The trades hired by Just Basements (plumbing, electrical, gas, ventilation, stairway carpentry and dry wall) were equally professional. I would highly recommend Just Basements.

Norm and his team are extremely professional and do top quality work. I especially liked how organized, on budget and on time the project was. What impressed me the most was the software tool Norm used to keep everyone (crew and client) on track and informed of the latest finishing selections. With the help of Just Basements Ottawa were able to take our dream and make it a reality. Our modern basement features a brewery, a bar where I serve the beer I make (8 beers on tap), a 6-seat home theater, lounge with biofuel linear fireplace, bathroom with walk in shower, urinal, and sauna. The basement (the scale and quality) is exactly the way we had envisioned it before the project began. We are very pleased with our project and look forward to many years of enjoying our basement.
