I would be extremely cautious using Gordon Keil for home construction. Gordon was the builder of our home and not only did we find many corners cut, but the largest one was the shower door installation. They blatantly missed the support beam to drill in the door to the wall, and instead of correcting the mistake, they left it only drilled into the drywall. We confronted Gordon and he said it was not his fault nor would he help to remedy the situation. In the end, his ability to manage a project, hire the right professionals, and incorporate quality controls is lacking on all accounts. During our discussion with Gordon, we were told in person he would have the shower door removed and replaced for safety so we could have his error fixed at our own expense. After repeated texts and emails with no response, he did not stand by his word and then told us he didn’t have insurance and it was now our problem to correct. A building error is a building error, regardless of when the issue became apparent. This is not only a building error, but a huge safety issue.

Gordon has done basically every big renovation project in our house. I would not choose anyone else, he is incredibly responsible, his work is precise and pristine in addition to being made to last and not only to look good. Highly recommend him and his crew.

Keil Design did deck repair work requiring replacement of floor boards and railings as well as staining the deck. They were responsive, professional and reasonably priced. Both the carpenter and painter did what was asked and cleaned up after their work. Gordon Keil was very helpful advising the options for the repairs. I would recommend them.

Keil Design and Construction were the best contractor that I have ever worked with! We wanted to redesign our small kitchen, but were having challenges with the layout of the house. I had called multiple companies to help us try to come up with a design solution, but none of the companies really listened to our needs. Keil Design and Construction not only contacted me immediately when I called them for a quote, they immediately put me in contact with a designer that was just as amazing and patient. Once the designed was created, their construction team of very talented professional constructed the kitchen and did an incredible job, Everyone that comes into my home are shocked at the improvement of my kitchen and home. I cannot be any happier and satisfied with the projects that Gordon completed in our new house. It involved hardwood flooring and painting an almost capricious selection of walls. Both were expertly crafted and done, but more importantly, also met the challenge of matching colors and patterns without any difficulty. Before talking to Gordon we spent hours trying to figure out what were the specifications for both wood and paint. The projects were completed on time and smoothly from beginning to end. His teams (flooring and painting) were always polite, clean, and punctual on their programmed times. Gordon, thank you so much, this were the last steps in turning the house into our home.

Keil Design and their team of professionals did a wonderful job for our kitchen renovation. We had hired Keil Design for the complete kitchen renovation which included removing two walls, installing structural beams, and relocation of gas, water, and sewer pipes. The team was very much engaged from the demo, flooring, cabinet layout/selection, and finishes. Gordon was very responsive to the needs of the project and did a great job with the project. The architect that was hired (DesignBlenz) contributed to value to the reno by providing us great options for what we can do with our existing space in terms of layout and functionality of the space. I would not hesitate to recommend Keil Design for your remodeling needs. Gordon runs a first class company and the work that they did for us shows in terms of pride and craftsmanship!

Keil Design completed our kitchen addition that also included new entryway, powder room, pantry closet, and new stairway to basement. We were very happy with them. While this is our first time doing a large home renovation, we knew that a few things in particular were especially important - quality of the work, completion time, and the people. They delivered on all three. Steve, our project manager and the man in charge here every day was fantastic. We also really enjoyed and were happy with a majority of the subcontractors they used. I was also really happy with how tidy they kept things and their clean up job afterwards. Even my kitchen designer, who is very experienced with seeing all sorts of home construction, commented that they did a great job. We'd absolutely use them again and recommend them.

Keil Design rebuilt our deck and garage after a tree damaged them. Their work was prompt, professional and nicely done.

Gordon did renovations on our `100 year old house to help us prepare it for sale. His crew did a great job at a reasonable cost, and the house sold for over the asking price.

Keil Design constructed a beautiful cedar and mahogany deck in our back yard. Keil also installed a set of french doors where we once had a window. Keil Design, Gordon, and his staff were easy to work with, priced fairly, and created a wonderful outdoor living space for my family.

I had the team install my new front door and replace the trim molding in my entry way. They came out the same day to give me an estimate and were able to start about a week later. The job was done quickly and professionally and we had no issues! Overall very happy!
