The remodel was almost a total remodel that included moving plumbing and some electrical work. The staff was always on time and very professional. Despite some setbacks, mostly wrong items sent and defective paint (Murphy’s Law), the team preservered until it was done correctly and I was happy. They were also very good about not damaging my wood floors leading to the work site and repainted areas that were nicked when carrying construction equipment. They also had my entire condo cleaned upon completion because of dust from the construction. Although it took longer then anticipated, the wait was well worth it.

Every crew member with KM Builders was great to work with. We started out meeting Keith Moehle. We conveyed our ideas of creating a second master Bed and bathroom in our home. Keith and the design team gave us several options and we chose a floor plan that best fit our needs and our budget. We were assigned a project manager (Mike Garcia) who we saw almost everyday of the project. The communication was fantastic. We knew what was scheduled to be done each day and the crew arrived on time. They were very conscientious to clean up their work space everyday. The whole project went relatively smoothly. There were a few hiccups, as to be expected with any remodeling project, but I never stressed about it because I knew my team was taking care of it. Our new room looks great and even though the project is done I know I can still contact the team if any problems arise in the future. I will definitely use KM builders for my future projects. Thank you to everyone on the team. I’m very happy.

Our experience with KM was excellent. Their professional, knowledgeable, and courteous staff provided great service in all phases of the project. KM’s project management approach to remodeling projects was sound and successful in completing the remodeling of our master bathroom. From the sales discussions to the to the actual execution of the work the staff was very knowledgeable and concerned with completing the project based to our specifications and satisfaction. Our project was completed according to the scope and budget we agreed upon, on time, and more importantly, it looks great and we are very satisfied with the end result.

We love how our home was transformed. KM Builders took the time to listen to our thoughts and ideas to help us design a better than we ever imagined new kitchen! Their process made our project run much smoother than expected. They made sure we were always informed with daily communication from our project manager (Mike Garcia) as to the work to be performed every day. Their attention to detail during the planning process helped them have everything needed for our project before they began construction, which decreased the actual construction time. I can't believe how amazing Keith and the team at KM BUILDERS are. They are the only company in San Antonio that is a true design-build company. Everyone else simply has designers they work with but the are not really employees! If they lie about being a design-build company, how can you trust them about anything else? I have found Keith to be one of the most direct and honest people in the remodeling industry. I highly recommend KM BUILDERS.

Rear Addition: 23x21 framing was already completed as well as an excellent finished standing seam roof done by SW roofing. Quality Exterior stucco already done with doors windows set. Kieth was asked to bid on finishing remaining interior work to include knocking out rear walls for additions clear span beam, insulation, drywall, texture paint & floor tiles. Without my presence Kieth proceeded to look & told my elderly parents that the entire Addition (already done) needed a complete demo suggesting they feel unsafe in their home. Kieth seems as a hype contractor trying panicking elders to price gouge customers. I spoke on the tele & Kieth was very insulting with unprofessional behavior. Needless to say, we finished the job with another very professional contractor at a reasonable price & the finished product is absolutely beautiful. Would love to show Kieth the finished project that he insulted so aggressively & insisted job couldn't be done but he's not welcome being somewhat caustically unstable & very aggressive. I feel Kieth just didn't think there was enough money for him to finish the job, so exaggerating unnecessary work on a partially finished project was his tactic. Buyers beware. Lacking ethical integrity by panicking my elderly parents 92 & 79 into thinking something was structurally wrong is not cool. We finished the project without K&M's Kieth & it's absolutely beautiful & was completed in 3 weeks. I would suggest Kieth take a hint if he feels there's no profit in a job that he should keep his insults to himself & just kindly refuse a job instead of making hysteria for elderlies. My friend who met kieth initially is an HVAC commercial contractor in construction over 30 years & performed the HVAC work perfectly. I have 20 yr residential/commercial building background & maybe kieth should be cautious of whom he's trying to sell hype to & should walk away from projects he's not interested in before insulting homeowners. Unknowlegable building Buyers Beware.

As an Architectural photographer with more than 28 years in the industry, I have photographed many projects that KM Builders has completed. I am always impressed with their work. The modern and trend lending designs are inspirational as well as the quality in craftsmanship and overall finished product. The professionalism and experience level of the staff members I have dealt is exceptional. It is always a pleasure to work with KM Builders and I encourage anyone to explore an opportunity to have Km complete your next project.

A full bathroom renovation was requested and done. KM Builders has a definitive process whereby each trade specialty, the PM, architect and homeowner meet prior to the beginning of the project to review each step of the process. This was extremely informative. From that meeting and throughout each phase of the project, I was kept informed of the project's status as well as what would take place the following day. The trade specialities did an excellent job from the demolition to the tiling to the installation of the vanity, countertop, toilet, shower, mirror, walls, etc. The PM stayed abreast of all aspects of the project and was always available to answer questions and allay concerns. Overall, an outstanding job! I highly recommend this company. You will get the best product and results ever!

Final product was excellent, but the experience of getting there is something I never want to experience again. If you plan on hiring this company, do not let them rush you through the contract signing process and take your time to go through line by line or take the contract home before signing so you can have a thorough understanding and discuss at length any questions or concerns you may have. Get your finish by date in writing and if you can, put some penalties for not completing on time. Be advised that the estimated price, will be your final contract price and you will have to fight for every deletion from the final price, but not every addition that comes out of nowhere. Additionally, do not fall for the sales pitch and how much care and concern the leadership has for you and your best interest, at the end of the day this is still a contractor and the bottom line is to make money, not your best interests. Pay attention to every detail and, if necessary, bypass the program manager because they do not have any decision making authority so cut out the middle man/woman and speak with the decision maker yourself. In the end, this will save you some headaches. Bottom line, the quality of the work and final product is solid, although they will slip in some products that are not indicative of a high end company, i.e., MDF shelving versus wood. Know your building and electrical codes, ensure your billing matches the actual work, and be ready to spend a lot of hours wondering how much and/or little work was accomplished during the course of a day considering the amount of people that are on site. The one thing that you can count on this company to consistently get right is the invoice, billing, and collecting process; everything else is up for interpretation. Good luck and once again, the final product is good just the ride getting there is rocky!

I was referred by a friend who had his house remodeled met with Keith great experience, we had ideals ,but Keith brought out even more which we liked I am still doing business with him on remodeling not finished yet, all his employees have a special trade and it shows I was fortunate to be at home as the project was being done the guys were great no problems they worked with me and made suggestions I liked that I even think I made a lot of friends. The workmanship is good I would give them a pat on the back. Would I recommend this company absolutely.

Complete remodel of our downstairs area, including kitchen, fireplace, powder room, taking down a piece of wall, brand new stairs and railing, and all new flooring. This was a major project, which essentially gave us a our "forever home". We were very satisfied with KM's services. Good communication throughout the entire project is of great importance to us and they definitely provided that. Another very important aspect to us is that we were always able to leave the house and feel comfortable about the KM workers being home alone. Even with a major remodel like we did, KM made the whole process run as smoothly as possible and we were able to stay in our house throughout the whole time. This was our third and biggest project with KM and they are currently at our house for our forth project. We are completely satisfied with their work. Their employees are courteous and professional and always do a fantastic clean-up job as well. I already have yet another project in mind and I wouldn't call anybody else. When KM does it you know it's done right! You could have somebody else remodel our home, but then you'd have to live with it :)

I had used KM Builders to remodel a Master Bathroom, paint the Master Bedroom and slightly update a Powder Room (Hallway 1/2 bathroom). The service from start of demolition to the end room was given the attention I needed to meet a time frame and addressed most concerns within hours through the process. I would have liked to see more consistency in the project management from the signing of the contract through the design effort to the demolition start. The initial contract sales project managers did not pull things together and seem to push things off on others. He didn't follow through on items I asked for It took too long from the signing of the contract to getting a start date. He did not provide guidance through the design/selection process. Once the project was in kick off mode, the "construction" project manager was introduced. This construction project manager took about 2 weeks to give me a start date. Then, on the start date of the construction, another project manager was assigned. This project manager did his best to pull together all the loose ends from the previous project managers. I had provided input throughout the construction on what would be better for the customer and thoughts to process improvements for KM Builders. The final project manager was very receptive and addressed each matter professionally and timely. His efforts would make me consider hiring the company again under condition he was the project manager.
