Our home was built in the 1880s. We had lived here for more than 20 years. By raising four children, hosting many events and neighborhood gatherings, pets, and extended family living with us, the house and kitchen had served us well... and it showed. We had always dreamed of remodeling our kitchen and delayed it until we knew we could create just the style and look we wanted. For years we would plan and remember and tuck those ideas away for that special day. We explored many different builders and when we came across Make Her Mark, we felt their style and previous work aligned with our intentions and hopes. In meeting with them, there was an immediate connection and realization that their personalities and professionalism were a match also for us. They allowed us to share our vision and supported that. They offered their opinions and even preferences, but they never forced that upon us. They allowed us to lead, and when we could not or were hesitant, they would be there to respond with reassurance or with directions that ultimately led to a beautiful, beautiful kitchen. It is what we had hoped for all along. With any project of this magnitude, there are bumps and aggravations along the way. One of the best things about Make Her Mark is that we could express our anxieties and Todd and Tracy could hear it and we dealt with it and moved along. Another key part of why we are satisfied with the overall experience is that not only are Todd and Tracy kind people, but the collaborators they found to do the work were also kind and quite thoughtful. There were some moments of stepping on one another's toes and bumping against egos, but no permanent damage was done. This became a part of the story behind the finished product.

We were having a difficult time conceptualizing how our new home purchase could turn into our dream home. We found Make Her Mark online and Todd and Traci responded quickly, excited about the opportunity to help us. They listened to our needs and desires and brought fresh ideas through their years of remodeling experience. They utilized visuals that allowed us to see possible designs that fit our style of traditional with a contemporary touch. The interesting part for us is how our own creativity began to emerge. The collaboration was invaluable. Traci kept us on track and within budget in the selections process. She helped us step outside of our comfort zone just enough to create our unique environment. Todd was invaluable, helping us utilize our existing kitchen cabinets to incorporate a more contemporary layout that met our budget. His input on other design features created an open layout that we love. What can i say? From the first meeting to the end result of my full kitchen remodel has been surprisingly “pain free”. Todd and Traci are so sweet and professional at the same time. Todd is great at designing the renderings perfectly and isn’t afraid to his hands dirty:). There were several times where i needed some assistance that my contractor couldn’t do and he was first to respond and show up ready to help. Traci has a great eye and really listens to what you want. She repeatedly would say i just want you to be “happy” with everything once we are finished. They also will help you stick to your budget and give you advice on what they think works and doesn’t. I appreciated the honesty. Although they have many specialist that can do anything you want, they are also willing to work with an existing contractor which many designers frown upon. That was very important to me. Todd and Traci make an excellent team and I’m happy to recommend them to anyone. If your thinking of any kind of remodel…kitchen, bath, lower level, outdoor space etc- consider this team. Traci and Todd did an excellent job of designing our “refresh” for our kitchen and bathrooms! During our first few meetings, they spent time getting to know us and how we utilize our home. They were very good at listening to what worked for us and what didn’t work in our current design. We had never done a remodel/refresh before and often we weren’t even sure of what we wanted but Traci and Todd were very good at throwing out ideas and giving us options. After they presented the design, they were very patient with us making tweaks here and there and in the end came up with something that we were very excited about. They work very intuitively to know our family and create a space we love and diligently to get it done in the most efficient way. We would pick them again for any future designs we may need!

Make Her Mark was amazing! They were the most professional contractors I have ever worked with. I had nearly all of our remodel designed (in my head) and Traci spotted things that were not on my radar and made suggestions that were within our budget and packed wow factor. Todd has amazing attention to detail and made sure all the work done was held to high and unwavering standards. We lived in our home while 50% of our first floor living space was gutted. The work included a full bath remodel, picture window installed, exterior french doors added, custom cabinets, vaulted a ceiling and added faux wood ceiling beams. Each sub they hired was professional and respectful of their work space also being our living space. They were always there when they said they would be, worked within their scheduled hours of the day, cleaned up before leaving each day and their work was incredible. After tearing out the drop ceiling and attic we discovered a pretty terrible roof leak that we had not known about prior to beginning renovations. Traci and Todd had someone there right away to quote the job and they were able to begin right away to keep our project on time. We ultimately went with someone else, who took a few more days than expected, but our project remained mostly on time as promised. I can’t recommend them enough!

We first reached out to Make Her Mark nearly a year before finding our home. Initially our thoughts were to do an entire home makeover with them. They were incredibly helpful in providing insights and feedback throughout the process. As we found our new home, that changed to only a master bathroom remodel. Todd and Traci were just as excited as we were to finally start working together. From the early stages of vision boards and design ideas and seeing our wants and dreams go from ideas, to sketches, to framing, and finishes they were incredibly helpful the entire way. I honestly love my kitchen and can't think of a single thing I would change. I know going into the project I already had ideas of the layout and type of cabinets/countertops that I wanted, but I never once thought about the accent wall or barn door, so I greatly value your input and ideas. I can't imagine the kitchen without that accent wall, really makes the overall design come together. Price -- Very reasonable, in all honesty I only got a quote from one other person and it was at least 30% higher than you guys Timeliness -- All major items were completed on time, there were a few items that took a couple extra months to wrap up but they were small Quality -- I am very pleased with the overall quality of the cabinets and overall install. I feel like you and Todd wanted to ensure everything was installed accurately and definitely pushed back on your subcontractors when things weren't perfect.

After both of our parents passed away, my siblings and I were faced with the difficult decision of selling our childhood home. Traci & Todd were very easy to work with when they bought my parents home. Their professionalism went beyond anything my sister's and I expected. It was very difficult having to sell the house where we grew up and my parents lived for 51 years till they passed away. When they finished the remodeling project they held an "Open House" for the neighborhood and our families. We thought that was a great idea and nice jester.
