Matt originally built my home in 2006. To tell you what a sturdy house he built, in 2019 this house was hit by a drunk driver going an estimated speed of 70-80 mph. The house took the hit like a champ!! But not only that even though Matt built my home 14 years ago, Matt has remained a trusted friend and someone I can still come back to ask questions! So not only does Matt build a strong house, he builds strong friendships too!!

We walked into our house which was almost completed by Matt. It was our dream house. He had already picked out perfect flooring (refurbished wooden flooring from an old Cotten gin) and yet it had a contemporary feel. My husband and I agreed on this house at first sight. It was a modern Prairie style with all the features of a new house. Great Windows, stainless steel appliances, beautiful arched wall openings, and fabulous heavy doors. Love at first sighting! He was very professional and allowed me to make a few last minute changes without any hassles. I was able to add an industrial touch to make it feel like 'our country home! '

When the time came for my husband and I to build our dream house, we talked to several local home builders. Most handed us a plan book and said "Pick one! I can build it." When I called Matt Patterson, to make an appointment, I knew I was talking to a different kind of builder. He asked us to reserve at least 3 hours for our appointment. Matt asked questions about how we lived, what we did, our interests. Then he took us to look at several of his homes and we were able to talk to the homeowners and ask them questions about their experience with the building process and Matt. My primary question was "If you had to do this again, would you use Matt?" Every single one said yes, emphatically. The home building process is difficult. It's filled with decisions, changes, deadlines, and a thousand other problems. Matt Patterson made it a memorable experience. He brought our vision to life, in building us the perfect house, to suit our needs and wants. He stayed on budget and finished when he said he would. In short, he delivered on his work. His knowledge and experience shines in his work and the homes that he builds. Now to answer my own question: "Would you use Matt Patterson, again, to build your next home?" That would be a resounding Yes! And I recommend him to all my clients as well.
