MD&CD Design & Build

This past winter, I was looking to install a new floor in my home (entire first floor and half of the second floor), build an entertainment center, and finish up some repair work that I had because of a water leak. I found MD&DC through reviews and went with them based on their high marks. I called Julian and he promptly set up a day to come review the work I needed done. It was within a few days or a week when he came out and they provided me with a proposal within a day of the meeting. The proposal is sent electronically, is comprehensive, includes cost, and most importantly to me, a commitment to a time frame to complete the work. The approval is performed with electronic signatures, and then they schedule you once you agree to the terms. Tamara in the front office helped me pick out some design ideas by sending me some pictures as idea starters. One of them was when I ended up using to inspire my design. Julian and his crew showed up at the assigned date, had the tools they needed, and the materials we were going to use. They are professional, prompt, and friendly. They worked with me on issues as they came up, i.e. we needed to make a quick correction to the design to accommodate some other variable that popped up. The work was completed within the quoted time, and the quality was good. i later discovered a couple of small issues that I needed to get corrected, which they did with no hesitation. I included a picture of the entertainment area, which shows the bookshelves that they built for me, the custom made mantle over the fireplace, the stone work on the floor in front of the fireplace, and the new vinyl plank flooring. The picture was taken before I finished decorating, but shows the main work that they performed. I probably could have found a cheaper price using a sketchier company (I've learned my lesson by now), but at this point in my life, I value quality, honesty, promptness, and reliability more than anything else. Would recommend and I will use them again.

I used this contractor to convert my tub to a walk-in shower, to replace all my carpet with LVP and to install ceiling mounted storage racks in my garage. I am very pleased with the results and highly recommend MD&CD.

We did a major renovation including kitchen, bathrooms,and flooring. It was a big investment, so we were nervous, but MC&CD handled everything professionally. They helped us make decisions we wouldn't have thought of ourselves and paid attention to small details that really made a difference. The house feels brand new.

Working with MD&CD Design & Build felt like a completely different level of professionalism from start to finish. The planning was clear, communication was consistent, and every phase moved forward with purpose. We always knew what to expect, and the team delivered exactly what was promised—on time and with exceptional attention to detail. The finished space feels elevated, cohesive, and truly custom.

I cannot recommend this company enough. If I could give it 10 Stars I would. Julian and his team took on a project that was left behind by a contractor whose work could not even pass any code inspection, in fact the guy had not even scheduled any inspections. Julian and his team came in, and had to do a complete rebuild from the ground up and they did it in a fraction of the time it took the previous guy. Not only that they are already almost done. The amount of communication was astounding as they communicated through every step along the way with me and my wife. I cannot begin to say how comfortable I feel with Julian and his team, and would definitely hire them again to do any future projects that my house May need. You should too.

I had the pleasure to work with MD&CD for 2 projects around my house. The first main project was to expand the front porch. Julian and his team do an excellent work, very easy to communicate, and everything documented. Then the second project was to install bay window for my kitchen and 2 slide doors for my back patio!!!!! Everything looks and works great….. I would definitely go with them if I had a future project!!! The secretary is very professional and data oriented….
