With detailed floorplans and 3D renderings of your new space, an extensive Scope of Work document, and an outlined Budget Items Worksheet, there will be no questions about what the project will require for a successful outcome. So, whether you choose to move forward with Medford Design-Build as your contractor or use our designs to get competitive bids and manage the project on your own, you can rest assured that you’ll have a clear visual and conceptual understanding of what is needed to complete the job. As a design-build firm, we not only create the necessary design documents for your project, but also offer turn-key service as your contractor. Once the designs are drawn and approved, we take the next steps to get your project on the road to completion: we obtain any required permits from the city, begin placing and tracking orders for products and materials, provide professional interior design service for assistance with selection items, and get your project phases laid out on our production schedule. Our vetted group of vendors and professionals work with us regularly, so you can be sure every aspect of your project is in good hands. You will also have a project manager assigned to your job at the beginning of construction and he will follow-up with you at the end of each workday to let you know what was completed and what’s next. Medford was great to deal with from the start of our remodel until the end. Everyone was very pleasant to deal with. Communication was terrific as they always kept us updated via texts and emails and our concerns and questions were always answered promptly. Our 10 year old kitchen, bathrooms and floors now have a beautiful new look thanks to the Medford team!

We had a super large and heavy mirror put up above our fireplace. Mike's Guys came on time and were very efficient and professional. I know that mirror is not going to budge. We really appreciated the fine job Mike's Guys did on this project.

The Medford Design Team was everything we wanted in a company. They gave us a price and a time frame of 3months for a huge remodel. We worked closely on design needs and wants with Kourtney, design and purchasing, and Stephanie the designer. Before the first wall came down all of our appliances, paint color, tile, backsplash, hardware and fixtures had been purchased and delivered. Every morning at 9 am Dave our lead man and about 5 skilled workers arrived at our home. They would work nonstop until evening often asking to work after hours. It is hard to get upset with people who are working at 100% and demanding perfection of their work. At the end of each day Dave would send us an email outlining the day and a outline of what tomorrow would look like. We feel Blessed to have found this group of professionals that are fair, honest and true craftsman that take pride in their work. J&J Rumley

Medford has been great to work with! We are new to the area, and needed to have pictures and mirrors hung a few months back. They were positively recommended by a neighbor on nextdoor.com. Great staff compiled information about our needs, and scheduled a crew based on my comments. Today, Neil came out for a second install of additional items - and he did a great job again! He is professional, courteous (because I am terribly indecisive), and never leaves behind a mess. Kourtney follows up with an email and receipt within hours of completed work. We have been very pleased with the group at Medford!

After a horrible experience with the company hired for our kitchen remodel (including theft of all the doors!), we were wary of Medford's despite the good recommendation from our neighbor. Mike made us comfortable on our first meeting and never let us down; provided his company's bona fides, a detailed pricing breakdown, and work schedule. We actually added a bathroom redo because of the trust established. The work met and exceeded our expectations. Details we had not considered were taken care of; little additional details not included in our contract were done without extra charge. The office staff, Courtney and Alysa were always available for questions and concerns. Courtney provided ongoing financial data, so no surprises. Communication through email, text and phone was excellent. And Mike did a nice marriage counseling/paint mediation job, too!

I drove past Medford Remodeling and was curious what kind of projects they had worked on. I pulled over and reviewed their website. I could tell they had a nice representation projects so I inquired if they needed photography services. After several conversations, they had a completed project that needed to be photographed. I had seen some of the "before" shots they had taken as well as the computer renderings before the scheduled shoot. When I arrived on location, I was really impressed with the final results. The homeowner had shared with me that they had been working with another company and were having some problems and that's why they selected Medford Remodeling. After viewing the well thought out designs and viewing the fine craftsmanship in person, the decision to hire Mike and his team was clearly the right one. The process from start to finish while working with Medford Remodeling (photographing a completed project) was very smooth with no snags.

Wonderful experience working with Medford Remodeling to upgrade our kitchen. We hired Mike after discussions with him about our project expectations and budgets for a few different design options. We felt confident that Mike could successfully turn our concept into the kitchen we wanted. Now we don’t know whether our expectations were met or exceeded. Mike had CAD drawings made so we could all understand the final plan before construction began. During construction we decided to change a few things which we knew would result in overages, but Mike always discussed these with us to make sure we understood what would be involved. The crew provided great workmanship, kept us involved in decision-making, and were very good to work with.

Medford Remodeling redesigned and remodeled our kitchen so I could cook and entertain from my power wheelchair. The design opened space beneath the cooktop and sink, lowered the counter surface several inches, and added pull drawers so I could access dishes, cookware and canned goods. I started my first project with Mike Medford and his team around 2005. Mike replaced all of my windows, my roof and decking and then finished the project by painting the exterior of the house. They did a wonderful job and we had them back for two additional projects in 2012. His team tore out the closet in our kids rooms and designed and built custom cabinets with drawers, shelves and hanging space. They even built in desk units. Our final project was a complete kitchen remodel and we couldn't have been happier with the way it turned out. Beautiful cabinets, with quartz countertops and tile backsplash. Mike and his team were always on time and very professional. The bidding and change order process was very detailed and no unexpected surprises ever surfaced. I have recommended Medford Remodeling to several friends without reservation and they have also been extremely happy with their work.

Mr. Medford remodeled our kitchen and other parts of our home in 2013. We are very happy. Everything was done on time and on budget. There were no surprises. His workers come in when I went to work and left the home at 4:30 PM before I came home from work. There was little interference with my families regular routine. His decorator was great and helped us pick out the right colors for our remodeling. Mike also helped me to build an emergency tornado shelter.

As a homeowner of a house that is more than 100 years old, I have had my fair share of necessary home repairs. I first met Mike through a mutual friend and discussed a future renovation project. Little did I know that the project had to be started sooner than later. Around the end of February 2013, I smelled a gas leak and when the gas company came out and couldn't find the leak they pulled my gas meter and informed me that they would hook it back up when the problem was fixed. Turns out that these kind of repairs have to be up to code and it would cost thousands to fix. I decided to take the plunge and move forward with the project. Mike and his crew were there to my rescue. When your house is in a designated historic district things can be a little tricky with approval of what can be done. Mike was instrumental in navigating through this whole process from financing, project design, working with the historic commission, city permits, product selection, and walking me through the budget process. My project included whole house new gas and water lines from the street and new exit plumbing for the kitchen and addition , foundation repair, kitchen tear out and renovation with custom cabinetry, new flooring and all the trimmings, the addition of a full bath and laundry and a covered porch with lighting and a ceiling fan, atrium doors from the dining area to the porch, new electrical work on the kitchen and addition, and a new roof. Mike and his crew were there every step of the way and kept me informed of daily progress and what I could expect next. They were professional and worked in a timely manner. They even listened to the customer. Hats off to Mike and his team for a job well done.

Medford Remodeling was recommended by a co-worker. I had them do the following to the downstairs area; replace Pergo and carpet with ceramic tile, replace the fire place surface with a new stone and accent glass tile, paint trim and doors, widen door opening from dining room to kitchen, and the best of all to tear out an old 1980's wet bar and replace it with a nice case to display my glass/ceramic art. I used a picture I found on Houzz as a recommendation for this area. I worked with the owner, Mike Sr. and Interior Designer, Stephanie, to decide on all the products and colors. I was very impressed with their expertise and guidance. I love the final results of the entire downstairs floor!
