We recently completed a significant renovation of the main floor as well as the master closet and master bath in our home and could not be more pleased with the experience of working with Daria at Men at Work. From our very first meeting, it was clear that she genuinely listens to her clients and takes the time to understand how they live in their space. She was incredibly collaborative throughout the entire process, welcoming our ideas and preferences while offering thoughtful suggestions to elevate the design. What truly set her apart was her ability to rethink the layout of our home to accommodate a mud room and improve the layout in our living room in ways we never would have considered on our own. As a busy family, functionality was just as important to us as aesthetics, and she delivered on both fronts. She reconfigured spaces to improve flow and daily usability, and she incorporated an impressive amount of storage throughout, all while preserving a clean, warm aesthetic that feels inviting rather than sterile. We were also impressed with Daria’s strong technical knowledge. She demonstrated a deep understanding of the construction process, which gave us tremendous confidence that her designs were not only beautiful but also buildable and practical. She paid close attention to every detail, from materials and finishes to how structural elements would come together, and she communicated effectively throughout the build. When adjustments were needed along the way, she handled them seamlessly and without hesitation. Above all, she was an absolute pleasure to work with. Our working relationship was one of genuine partnership, and we always felt heard and respected. We would recommend her without reservation to anyone looking for a designer who combines creativity, technical skill, and a truly client-centered approach.

We worked with MENATWORK on the renovation of our 1911 home, including flooring, electrical, new bathrooms, windows, etc. The experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Communication was clear, timely, and consistent throughout the project and the quality of workmanship was excellent, with thoughtful attention to detail. My house is a semi-detached and is 100 plus years old so needed a lot of basic structural repairs (sever termite damage, foundation decay, moisture damage) and utility upgrades (modern insulation, separate sewer and water). Men @Work were able to meet an exceed the structural challenges of known and unknown to transform an old flawed structure into a modern, beautiful, efficient and comfortable home that I'm proud to own. We are spending our first winter back since the renovation was completed and am pleased by how well the home has been so well weather proofed (no drafts and consistent temperature throughout the house). My wife was especially happy with the expertise of the Men@Work design team in the selection of the kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, flooring and paint colouring options which otherwise would have been very time consuming. As turn key project managers I'm quite certain that Men& Work have handed over a home that I will be happy to live in for a long time and sleep confidently free from worry of harm from storm water back-up, unwanted pests, and introducing noise privacy and a reliable HVAC system for all seasons. happy renovating, wes

When I think of MAW and the team, I think of a company that really cares. They want to execute the vision you and they have developed. They are there for you every step of the way and if there are any issues, they will find a solution. The company and people are professional and go the extra mile to ensure you are happy. Also once the job is done, they don't just leave. They've come back to touch things up. Overall we had a wonderful experience, and that is why we used them twice.

Throughout the eight months of planning and one year of construction with Men at Work, their service and quality of work exceeded our expectations. They are a great team, knowledgeable, open communication, personable, responsive, and always kept us up-to-date with the progress. The project was on-budget; they detailed the pros, cons, and recommended solutions. We decided to spend the extra money so that they could bring our dream home to life! The estimated construction timeline for our project was one year and they were right on time. When our home was delivered, punch list items were addressed within 3 days. We contracted MENATWORK for our design & build project involving a full gut and 3rd floor addition to our 100-year-old house. We are thrilled with the finished project and have been extremely satisfied with the whole team’s professionalism, responsiveness, and competence - particularly from our project manager, site manager, designer, and architect. They were highly communicative and collaborative throughout the process and continue to lend their support with finishing touches and minor repairs. We developed a lot of trust in their team and are confident in the quality of the work. We’d happily use them again for future projects.

We enlisted Men at Work to renovate the main floor of our 100 year old house in west Toronto. Highly recommend this company. They are extremely organized, professional, and very responsive. The designers, project managers, and contractors were all skilled and a pleasure to work with. We are more than thrilled with the high quality beautiful main floor they completed for us. Renovations can be stressful, but they don’t have to be if you hire the right team.

Men At Work provided an excellent first floor renovation of my house. They created an attractive and modern kitchen, that complimented and blended in well with my older home. Their Staff is highly professional. They listened carefully to my questions and concerns and responded creatively to design challenges. The budget and timelines were reasonably maintained. The result was a beautiful, practical and well constructed space.

We were looking for a design build company that would take the stress out of completing a major renovation/addition and MAW fulfilled and really exceeded our expectations. We have used Men At Work for 2 renovations on our house. They did a great job both times and are very professional with great customer service. Even a couple of years after the work was completed, we had some issues arise and they were on top of things promptly. We would definitely recommend Men At Work and use them again in the future if they opportunity presented itself.
