Wow. Recently finished a large addition/remodeling project (825 sqf added / 400 sqf remodeled) here in Bellevue with Clint and his team at Metropolitan Remodel. We are absolutely thrilled with the finished result, and - dare I say it - we actually found ourselves enjoying the process, which came in within 1.3% of the initial fixed price budget (excluding a few splurges by us). We were looking for an honest company that would stand by their word, work within our budget, provide excellent quality, and maintain a relatively tight timeline. After interviewing approximately 15 companies and getting estimates from 8 or 9, we ultimately chose Metropolitan and have not regretted that decision. Clint and his team took fantastic care of us and our home and communicated well with us throughout the process. They had great suggestions regarding materials and design that helped us realize some savings and always provided options within our budget. The team did a fantastic job in keeping the site clean and on schedule, with contractors and subcontractors working practically daily, and they really knew what they were doing -- we never had any significant issues or delays with inspections or permits. Clint is the type that prefers to get the job done right the first time, rather than try to cut corners and deal with consequences. Even when we ran into a small flooring problem (the only thing that really went wrong the entire project), Clint stepped up to the plate and fixed the issue. I hired Metropolitan Remodel to do a full bathroom remodel, minor kitchen remodel, and complete interior painting. It turned out to be an excellent decision. I am very happy with the qualify of work they did as the results are amazing. They really are a great company to deal with and extremely professional. They were on budget, met our important completion dates, kept the lines of communication open at all times, kept us up to date on status of activities and did a great job of keeping the place clean throughout the project. I will be hiring them for future work!

I had the amazing opportunity to work with Clint and his team to add a 2nd level to my garage, with two rental units. I cannot speak highly enough of my great experiences with Metropolitan, from the bid, through construction and the after care. A few highlights from my experiences which I hope will be helpful to anyone considering hiring Metropolitan: -During the bidding process, Clint came in right in the middle, and had the most detailed bid of the group. He spent the most time at the property and asked more questions than any of the other contractors (several of which spent less than 15 minutes!). I ask a lot of questions throughout the process, and I learned many home remodelers underbid based on lack of information, and this results in a lot of changes (and extra cost). Clint's experience and caring came out during those initial discussions, where he asked a ton of questions about the quality of items I wanted and things I never thought of, to ensure the bid was appropriate. -I did my own design, and Clint and his team really got to know what I was looking for, and made a ton of suggestions that resulted in some very special design touches that didn't cost extra (were within our established budget). For example, the back splash in one of our units was made with sealed pallet wood, and has turned out to be the biggest conversation piece and is very very loved by my guests. -I was very pleased with how transparent Clint and his team were - no surprises. regular ongoing communication throughout the project with great detail up front. And Clint was always available for a call or a text, as was his team. Never did I wonder "what is going on!". -Clint and his team were so flexible, helping with everything from the design through permitting and construction, and continuously offering workable solutions to issues that came up. I really felt like I ended up getting more for less. -Despite the nightmares I have heard from friends on their projects with other contractors, Metropolitan finished on schedule and on budget! Even though some minor hiccups or surprises occurred (unseen frame rot below the floorboards), they handled things so professionally and with an honest care that you don't often see with home professional. , I could see them doing everything possible to finish the project on time. I know this sounds a bit too glowing... but I've been in the service industry (tourism) for 20 years and when I find a company that truly cares and does the job right, I just want to tell everyone.

When it comes to remodeling / construction projects, it just doesn’t get any better than Metropolitan Construction. From the very beginning, I was extremely pleased with their professionalism, diligence, planning and ability to work with specific deadlines. The project was very ambitious (total kitchen rebuild) which included moving walls. Metropolitan Construction not only delivered amazing work, they contributed extensively to the design making significant practical and aesthetic improvements. As the project came to a close, the work was so good we added two additional projects – adding a custom bar in the entertainment room and an outdoor kitchen. I just can’t say enough good things about Clint, Lincoln, Steve and the entire Metropolitan Construction team. They have been an absolute delight to work with!

A little over a year ago we first met Clint Jones of Metropolitan Construction through our architect. We were immediately impressed with his professionalism but also with his approachable style and confident manner. Our project was rather sizable and we were heading into the holidays so it became apparent that we would not be completed before Christmas. To accommodate the arrival of our out of town children and grandchildren Clint's team sealed up our new addition, cleaned up the grounds and put all of his equipment away out of sight - and cleared out of our home before Christmas until after the first of the year. We were actually able to use the new addition unfinished! The team returned exactly when Clint promised and continued on to complete our Architect's design. The quality of work is excellent. We couldn't be happier. We were able to work with Clint and his team on decisions and any changes made. We always felt well taken care of and were always encouraged to call him with concerns or questions... which we did. We also would like to commend Clint's team of builders. We became very comfortable around our specific team and so impressed with their quality of work, pleasant attitudes and CLEAN UP perfection inside the project everyday before leaving. Even our neighbors commented on how amazing they were at keeping street and grounds around our home so clean.

My husband and I have just finished a major kitchen and bathroom addition with Metropolitan Construction. It was quite a large project as we added 320 square feet to our existing house and a large retaining wall was built in our backyard surrounding the new addition. This was our very first renovation and Clint and his team exceeded our expectations. We are extremely happy with the results and get many compliments from friends about the high quality work and timeliness of completion. It feels like a new home and we absolutely love it. Clint designed our new kitchen and bathroom to fit seamlessly in with our existing 1940's house. He has a very creative eye and listened to our ideas to help us achieve our goals and objectives for wanting an open layout with lots of counter and cabinet space. When it came time to signing the contract and agreeing on pricing, we were impressed by how professional and organized the process was. That totally put us at ease from the start and set a great tone for starting construction. We negotiated a budget that was very reasonable for the amount of work done and any issues were always dealt with right away so we had time to make decisions that were right for us financially. Clint was flexible and worked with our financial resources. He was open to my husband’s willingness to do some of the work so that we could afford to make this project a reality. It was always easy to communicate with Clint and the lead crew member, Bryan. I was especially impressed that they answered my questions in the evenings and on the weekends. We met with Clint at least once a week until we were through most of the construction. We were put us at ease that large and small issues would be taken care of in a timely manner. The crew was professional and started on-time five days a week until the project was significantly complete. They worked tirelessly through some nasty Seattle rainy days and were consistent with what time they started and ended each work day. They worked with our schedule and were very considerate of our toddler's waking and nap times. We were also given enough time to plan around some of the noisier construction activities. They cleaned up every day and were friendly to not only us but our neighbors too. Although it was such an intrusive process, we enjoyed seeing the guys every day and we miss them. As we wrap up our renovation, we continue to be impressed by the high level of service provided by Clint and his team. They strive to make sure we are completely happy with our new space and are diligently working through the punch list. I would highly recommend Metropolitan Construction to anyone thinking about renovating their home. We will definitely be working with Clint again in the future. It feels great to know we have found a trustworthy and well run construction company when we want or need work done to our house or our rental properties.

Clint and Metropolitan Construction helped me realize my dream of the ultimate "ManLand". The Metropolitan Crew transformed my daylight basement into something that EXCEEEDED any ideas I had in my head. The work was professional, on time and great care and respect was shown to my home. Clint helped me set up and install a custom home theater and constructed a one of a kind "L" shaped home bar, complete with plumbed sink and keg system. A custom full wall length booth, with a hand-painted rustic advertisement mural for Sailor Jerry Rum completed the look and really delivered in the custom one of a kind, totally cool factor. I would not hesitate to recommend Metropolitan Construction for your remodeling needs. It was great working with someone who could take my ideas, and turn them into something more amazing than I had hoped for- and the best part- all within my budget!

Metropolitan Construction came to use with expertise, professionalism, and great care. Clint and his team were far and away the best choice from the beginning. A relaxed, friendly and personable guy, Clint, along with the rest of his team, is knowledgeable and diligent. We relied on him for architectural input, design input, and financial responsibility. He delivered on all three as we tore down walls requiring a change to the structural support of the house, gutted and put in an entirely new kitchen, and completely overhauled the outdated electrical. We had high hopes of a quick timeline, and no other contractor we talked to would even consider trying to fit us in as quickly as Clint did. I also had a very particular vision for the kitchen, and Clint patiently worked with both of us to make smart choices to achieve this. He always had creative ideas for my “champagne taste on a beer budget” plans, even working with my father-in-law, who wanted to custom-build shelving for us. The end result looks better than we had expected. We always felt like our voice was heard, as he regularly came over to chat about concerns, big or small, and make changes to our original plan as needed. Having never bought a home or completed a remodel, we were grateful for this flexibility! He even went above and beyond to check in on our fickle dog, as we were worried about his care when we weren’t home. The results are phenomenal! We couldn't be happier. You should hire him now!

I couldn’t be more delighted with the new apartment Metropolitan Construction added on to my sister’s house in Shoreline over two years ago. I love the living room with kitchenette, bedroom, and tiled bathroom (especially that gigantic tub!) The quality of work is impeccable. Owner Clint Jones' attention to detail paid off in a beautiful, well built addition. Everything has functioned without fail and I am completely satisfied. I appreciate Clint's attention to deadlines, and that he finished the apartment within the desired time frame. He also stuck to the budget I needed, providing excellence at an affordable cost. It was always pleasure to work with Clint. His professionalism, enthusiasm, and knowledge were invaluable. He is a good communicator and was always available when needed. The workplace was neat and upheaval was kept to a minimum. Clint and his team worked successfully with three generations of family members living in the home, not an easy task! I couldn't be happier with my amazing new bathrooms (3 of them)! Clint Jones has a fantastic eye for design and had ideas that I wouldn't have come up with on my own.
