We were so pleased with the renovation work Mosaik completed for us this spring. They entirely redid our kitchen and main level bathroom. The work was of the highest quality, and the attention to detail was exceptional. Scott and Erin were great at listening to what we imagined, our goals and aspirations for the space and then offering ideas and suggestions for how to make that happen. They provided clear explanations of the cost and the factors that would go into any decision about where to spend extra money and where it really didn’t matter so much. They were realistic about what we should expect and kept on schedule. The space is beautiful and incredibly functional for our whole family. We love our new space, thank you!

Erin and Scott of Mosaik Design and Remodeling helped us transform our 1941 home of 25 years into a space that functions well for how we live now and for how we want to live in the future. Throughout the design process, Mosaik’s team listened to our ideas, our pain points, and desires and steered us to a design that fit within our existing footprint AND increased functionality and circulation ten-fold. Our whole -house renovation included: finishing the basement with two bedrooms, a lounge, a bathroom and new utility room; a complete remodel of the main floor including creating a connection between the new laundry (brought up from the basement) and our dream kitchen. We updated all our mechanicals for the future with a new heat pump, heat-pump water heater, upgraded electrical panel and a car charger, added a radon mitigation system and treated ourselves to a central vacuum system. There were a lot of moving parts on this project and Mosaik’s coordination and understanding of remodeling brought the project in on time and without any cost surprises. Mosaik has cultivated strong relationships with all the trades and material suppliers which is why they are able to complete projects on time and with the highest level of craftmanship. All the subcontractors showed up on time and performed their work with the utmost integrity and skill. Having worked in the construction industry for 20 years, I have rarely worked with anyone who matches Mosaik’s integrity, communication quality and attention to detail. Scott’s communication is top-notched--he built a realistic schedule and kept us apprised at every step of the project. He never assumed anything without checking in first and if there was weather or supply-chain delays he always doubled efforts to keep to that schedule. Erin quickly and efficiently understood how we use our home (read – two kids and a dog), and the period of our home and pointed us to materials, appliances, and finishes that are timeless and durable. Thank you, Erin and Scott – we love our “new home” and get to stay in the community we love for many years to come.

This is nothing short of a glowing review for Mosaik. We worked them for over a year with active renovations for 5 months. As someone who can easily have buyers remorse, working with Mosaic was the best choice I’ve made and I have no regrets about any parts of my house that they worked on. We had such a lovely experience working with Mosaik. Erin and Scott are experts in their fields and then go above and beyond providing the highest quality of customer service. Mosiak worked on a large project for us but most extensively renovated the kitchen and bathroom and moved a wall between the two. Below are a few standouts that we experienced: Accurate quotes- There were no “guesstimates” that increased later. Mosaic gave me real quotes and pricing that we stuck to. Accurate schedule- They finished to the DAY that they said they would. After 5 months of being out of the house, we were thrilled this was the case and not what people typically experience. Our house was professionally cleaned and everything. They say they stick to their schedule within two or so weeks—it’s true! Trusted subcontractors- Mosaik has worked with many of their subs on multiple projects and have many years long relationships with them. I know this project received the highest quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail. Amazing Communication- weekly or more check-ins. Plus I had a schedule with what was being worked on each day. Brilliant. Thoroughly thought out design- Erin has an incredible eye for color and texture and is up to date on trends as well fully knowledgeable about traditional design style. She can give you top quality recommendations and the vendors she uses are amazing. I could go on and on. Thank you Mosaik team for being so good at what you do!

Our Mosaik remodel is perfect for us. Erin and Scott listened to our desire to age in place in our home. They took our ideas and then made it better. Sometimes the bones of the house did not agree with the original design, but Erin and Scott worked quickly to come up with great alternatives. We appreciated design and build working together to meet their schedule. No delays. Their subs have been with them for many years and like working with Mosaik because their schedules are real. The scope of our project grew from a master bath and kitchen remodel to touching rooms in the whole house. They handled changes with aplomb. Visitors love the flow of our house for entertaining now. They ooh over the tile. We found out the ADA features put in work great. Couldn’t be happier.

From start through finish, Mosaik has exceeded our expectations. We could not be happier with our experience and we would recommend them without hesitation. We began what seemed like a big but not too complicated project: building a 2 car garage and adding a porch to our 1910 home. However due to the strict rules of our historic neighborhood, and the global supply chain issues, the project Mosaik Design took on was a lot! However they handled everything with grace. They set expectations at every stage, were very communicative with timelines, and they kept the hassles of the historic review out of our sight so we didn't have to know about all the back and forth involved. From our end, everything was seamless. Once the project began, they stayed right on schedule and there were no surprises. All of this was wonderful, but what blew us away was the level of craftsmanship. Every sub they brought on, from demo team to roofer to painter to concrete person was on time, polite, careful, clean, and was clearly an artisan in their trade. They matched the quality of work that was original to our home. Every time we come home and enter our house we see the porch and garage and we love what we see. I highly recommend working with Mosaik Design!

Thank you, Erin and Scott, and the rest of the Mosaik crew. Mosaik was a pleasure to work with and definitely worth the wait (they already had quite a backlog of projects when we first met). They transformed our small kitchen, which had already suffered through an inept remodeling attempt years before, into a space that now feels like the center of our home, enjoyable for both making meals as well as relaxing and socializing. Our small downstairs bathroom now feels welcoming, more spacious, and adds a touch of elegance that both we and our guests enjoy. Once the construction began, Scott was in near daily contact giving updates and was frequently at the house checking on progress and workmanship. Erin was able to communicate a design vision to a couple that didn’t really know what they wanted and was very patient as we worked through various ideas (usually before returning to one that she had already suggested). We love the result, and we’ll definitely use Mosaik again for future projects.

Mosaik Design & Remodeling is a full-service firm that provided us with a seamless, interactive process to remodel our family home of 18+ years into the dream home we have always imagined and hoped it could be! Our house renovation included a complete remodel of our kitchen, family room, powder room, laundry/mudroom, master bathroom, recarpeting and repainting of the entire house, new lighting throughout the entire house, and new fixtures in all the bathrooms. In addition, Mosaik Design and Remodeling assisted us with selection of new furniture. Co-owners, Erin (Designer) and Scott (General Contractor) come with a diverse and long list of design and construction experience renovating homes. They work as a team offering insight and expertise through the entire renovation process; from initial design and cost estimating to selection of finishes, appliances and fixtures to construction completion (and everything in between!). They hire and maintain a good working relationship with top notch subcontractors. We were pleased with the care and quality craftsmanship each sub-contractor offered and were impressed with the excellent communication and management that Mosaik Design & Construction maintained throughout all phases of our home renovation project. Our only regret is that we did not take this project on sooner. We love our “new” home!

You just never hear about things turning out the way they did for us and Mosaik. We are not easily impressed and Erin and Scott blew us away. Professional, communicative, collaborative, sensible and did I say they know their shit? It was something we dreamt about for 20 years and dreaded for just as long. Completely exceeded our expectations for how the process can work and what the outcomes can be. Whole house remodel. Project took 11 months. On time and pretty much on budget. Results are nothing short of astounding.

Mosaik Design did a kitchen and first floor remodel for our home and we would highly recommend them. Erin and Scott are a joy to work with from start to finish. Erin, Scott, and the Mosaik team were wonderful to work with. They turned our dreary galley kitchen into a functional yet beautiful space, on time, during the COVID pandemic. Erin’s layout changes added much needed counter space and a pantry! We didn’t think a pantry was possible. And tweaks like new high windows and wider/taller openings helped our home feel airy and flow so much better. Scott was the ultimate professional. He gave practical advice on how to live through a kitchen renovation and addressed any concerns promptly. We picked Mosaik because we loved the special details we saw in their portfolio and wanted that for our home, and they absolutely delivered.

Scott and Erin were just wonderful. Our project was completed during COVID and they did an amazing job of making sure everything was done safely. The initial design process was great - we made so many changes along the way and Erin was so helpful and incredibly patient as we kept changing our minds, reducing costs, etc. The actual demolition and construction went very well, with only slight delays, and we couldn't be happier with our GORGEOUS new bathroom, remodeled guest bath, refinished entry, stairwell, hallway and master floors, and brand new master closet. I also want to applaud Erin and Scott's great communication! I can't recommend Mosaik highly enough.

This was our second Mosaik project, and we are just as happy with the bathroom remodel as we were with our kitchen remodel. Erin and Scott are wonderful to work with, personable and responsive. They work well together, and they each bring strong skills. Erin's aesthetic sense is keen, and she's a great problem solver. Scott's also a good problem-solver; they wrung every ounce of functionality and storage out of our too-small bathroom space. There are no little inconveniences, as there are in most bathrooms; everything is just where it needs to be, and all of the fixtures are perfect. It's a Goldilocks place, everything just right. They've created a team of skilled craftspeople, and Scott manages projects very closely. Our three-month kitchen+ remodel, with custom cabinets, was completed within five days of the projected completion date. Despite the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic as they began in March, the bathroom project was completed just two days after the estimated completion date. If there are any problems after completion, Scott is quick to make them right. We recommend them very highly.
