New England Artisans just finished a big job for me. They did whole house window and door replacement, custom fencing, along with a long list of other things. I couldn’t be happier. The process was smooth with excellent communication and craftsmanship throughout. Eddie was always available and reachable (he actually answers the phone!) and handled every little bump with an ease and professionalism that allowed me to not stress at all! The guys were professional, curteous, clean, and as unobtrusive as can be when you have people working in your house all day . The work was impeccable, and I’m a tough judge. I don’t normally write reviews, but these guys were so fantastic I went on every review site to assure others that they’ll be in great hands! Can’t recommend them highly enough! Will definitely use them again.

New England Artisans designed and built my new custom master bath. It is now my favorite room in the house. Their attention to detail and customer service is fantastic and far superior to any contractor I have ever previously retained. Although many contractors can start out strong, they often trail off. That was not the case at all with this project. Jay and Eddie are not only wonderful craftsman, but also have a great sense of style. I would highly recommend them for any renovation project.

Eddie and his team were great from beginning through completion. He was helpful during the planning phase and accurate during the quoting phase. His crew were always professional and were meticulous to details, excellent craftsmen. They took an existing bathroom and closet and turned it into our dream master bath and laundry room. They were flexible enough to re-do all of our existing trim and interior doors throughout the house and still finish with-in the estimated 6 week time frame. New England Artisans is high end quality construction from someone you can trust! I am currently working with them to re-do 2 more bathrooms, kitchen, and mudroom. The team at New England Artisans are awesome. They have done a few remodels in my home and I would hire them again in an instant. Their attention to detail is a so refreshing. The finished work is perfect and their professionalism makes an experience that might be uncomfortable very easy. To be honest, when we had an job we no longer got estimates from any other company because we were so happy with their work.

We have been working with Eddie Day as our wonderful contractor the last 6 months on the renovation of our 1883 historic home in Westport, Ct. We started with electrical, painting, including removing all the lead throughout the house, floor refinishing and much more. We could not be more pleased to have found New England Artisans Remodeling and Design Group to take care of ALL our needs in restoring our home to its former beauty and creating a fresh and happy home to live in. Eddie hires only the best contractors such as Javier his wonderful head painter, who display an old-fashioned pride and passion in their work that continues to amaze us. We lived away from the house for part of the renovation and were told by our neighbors that in spite of us not being there Eddie's workers came at the crack of dawn and worked into the evening hardly ever taking a break and always cleaned up after themselves and were respectful of all around them. I felt so lucky to be able to continue our lives even at a distance and know that Eddie would take care of our home and make good decisons along the way. We did not have to babysit the projects and when we did come back to check on the progress we were always astounded by how everything exceeded our expectations. One time we ran into a dilemma on our floor with the old floor not matching the new repair and I saw first hand Eddie's ability to think outside the box and use his artistic abilities to solve the problem and within a few hours he had solved in an economic fashion the dilemma and the floor came out great. You could not tell the old from the new with the creative technique he used. Eddie and his contractors not only have an extensive technical talent but also the creative side to make there work beautiful. Everyone knows that renovations can be stressful and somehow Eddie managed to keep the peace in our household with honestly and integrity. We have more renovations to go on our antique home ie kitchen, baths etc, and we plan on having Eddie Day and New England Artisan's do all the work for us. It has been a real pleasure working with them.

Perfection.If I only had one word to give for a review that's what I'd choose. This is the first major project we've ever done to our house. I had a little bit of an idea as to what I wanted but not on everything. Well, Jay and Eddie are an exceptional team whose creativity and expertise made this project go flawlessly. They are a great balance and between these two owners and their phenomenal team, I knew I had made the perfect choice to make this project happen. They were on top of even the smallest details and the result exceeded my expectations. I must admit that I'm high maintenance but they took it all in stride and made me feel like I was their only project and their only goal was my happiness. I've worked with Eddie and his team on several projects and each one just keeps getting better; 3 bathrooms, hardwood floors, railings & bannisters, patio door, drainage and crown mouldings. We start planning early and he is very patient to make sure I'm happy with all the decisions. At this point he knows my style. NEA is meticulous when it comes to details and keeping me informed throughout. It's bittersweet that I only have one more small project left. I wouldn't trust anyone else. Highly recommend.

New England Artisans helped design and fully install the wainscoting in my foyer and up my main staircase. The owner, Eddie Day, is a genius at what he does. He has a great eye for creating classic, yet modern designs and the craftsmanship turned out beautiful. Very high quality work. They completed my job in about two days and even did some of the electrical which was above and beyond. The price was very fair and overall a great experience. I will definitely be using New England Artisans for several other renovations in my house, custom mudroom work and kitchen reno.

Having recently completed an interior and exterior renovation, I was moved to extol the quality of their work within the time frame that was promised. An unusual event in my experience. When one of its workers was taken ill, one of the principals came in and helped install windows and doors. They also showed a sense of design in helping resolve some carpentry issues, not often found in the building trades. I intend to contract with them to install a metal roof as their top foreman is expert in both carpentry and metal installation. Above all, they are really accommodating and a pleasure to work with.

I have been working with New England Artisans for the past 8 years. They have done the following projects for me - window replacement, gutters, 2 new bathrooms including a master bath, coiffured ceilings, new moldings, replaced a staircase in my 2 story entrance hall, brand new portico and dormer window. I have been extremely happy with the quality of their work. Eddie and Jay are helpful with their ideas and suggestions and help my visions come to life! Very reliable, hardworking, neat and respectful. I have recommended them to several of my friends and everyone has been happy.
