Newman Construction

My dealings with Newman Construction has been excellent. The people who do the work has been exceptional, cleaning up after themselves, and any problems that need resolving has been taken care. They make sure that the work is up to what the customer requires and will make it right. They are there when you have an emergency and need something repaired right away. I will not deal with anyone else and they treat you like you are family.

We selected Newman Construction for our project because of their reputation for quality. We were not disappointed. The work crew was always professional, considerate and courteous, even to our cats. The few "issues" were promptly dealt with and resolved to our satisfaction. As an example of their attention to detail, Patty had the plumber return to correct a faucet installation before we had even discovered there was a problem. We couldn't have asked for better service.

Newman Construction lived up to their reputation! Joe Newman built us a beautiful custom home. He was helpful with pointing us to good people for our needs and let us know up front what costs were going to be. Ashley, his interior designer, is invaluable for help with decisions. His entire staff is helpful and responsive to questions.. If subcontractors work wasn't done to their high standards they caught them and gave us options for fixes. Service since moving in has also been great. Anything that has come up that has been an issue has been addressed-- even if it's just a question about how something is supposed to work.

I hired Newman Construction for an addition and kitchen re-model. The main differences between them and other contractors in the area were that I was able to contact them easily, they were willing to do the job, and they showed up. I tried several other builders, but sadly, none of them met any of these requirements. Fortunately, Newman Construction was a pleasure to work with. They communicated exactly when each step of the project would occur. I had no trouble reaching them, when I had questions. They were willing to change plans several times during the construction. It was nice to see the project progress quickly, because they did at least some work almost every day, and finished when they said they would. I also appreciated that they used local businesses for things like cabinets, poured walls, flooring, etc. In the end, their estimate was within 10% of the final cost, even with a few changes along the way. Overall, my experience with Newman Construction was completely different than what I have experienced with other contractors. I would definitely hire them again.

We had a disastrous flood in our house. While we were gone the dishwasher kept pumping water for 16 hours. Our hardwood floors, carpets, basement ceiling, walls, cabinets, bar and hardwood inlay in the ceramic tiles were all damaged or ruined. Newman Construction met with us and the Adjuster to outline a plan including a budget. They defended their costs and convinced the Adjuster that thir plan was the best way to proceed. Newman Construction employees and their sub-contractors were VERY PROFESSIONAL, knowledgeable, polite, and careful with our home. The work was done right, the FIRST TIME, the QUALITY is beyond question, and the project was finished well WITHIN BUDGET.

Newman Construction handled a major home remodel for us in 2015. They were great to work with, really mind the details, and completed a nearly 3-month project on-time and on budget. We lived in the house during the remodel and really appreciated how well they kept us informed and how clean they left the space each day. Made it very easy to live through. I will absolutely use Newman Construction again and am in fact doing that now for Phase 2 in 2017.

When we had the opportunity to build our ideal home we chose Joe Newman, Newman Construction, for the job. He listened to our needs and wants, provided all of the design assistance we needed and handled all of the construction details in a a timely manner that only an expert can. For state of the art craftsmanship, follow through, and excellence in all phases of the job, I'd choose Newman construction every time. They made the process easy, and we now have the home we love.

I am currently working with Newman Construction to plan a master bedroom/bathroom remodel. I can't say enough about their designer, Ashley! She is so respectful of what I like. But I'm learning to lean on her creative eye to help me through the process. We haven't begun the job yet, but I know this is going to be a fun journey!
