We were in great hands with Samantha and her team - and we couldn't be happier with our entire remodel project. The communication with the Oak and Arrow team was great before, during and after the project wrapped up. They walked us through each step of the journey. Once the project started, they kept us up-to-date and shared photos and video of the progress. Not only is the Oak & Arrow team fantastic, but they also work with wonderful subcontractors - teams they have worked with for years that do high quality work. We hired Sam to help us with the design phase of our project. We had been stumped trying to figure out what could be possible with our space. Samantha listened, took notes and asked all the right questions to understand what we needed. She and her team helped us work through different ideas and provided us with 3d renderings that finally helped us visualize what our space could look like. Although we couldn't use her as our architect due to being out of state ,we learned a ton as a result of working with Samantha and we can go into our project with more clarity.

We were stuck trying to figure out our kitchen remodel. Working with Samantha was the best decision we made. She worked with us on every little detail to design the kitchen of our dreams. Highly recommend!

Samantha transformed our little 1938 bungalow from simple to SPECTACULAR! She designed a complete restructure including kitchen, removing walls and adding windows, all with the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. Samantha also engineered our top-to-bottom structural updates from roof to furnace room. Most of all, she listened to us and adapted the work to our lifestyle needs. Samantha listened to our wants and needs and created a unique design that made our house feel more open and functional for our family. She kept with the architectural period and charm of our little 1937 Cape Cod house when thinking through our options. Remodeling is a stressful undertaking, but add a pandemic and it takes it to a new level; we really appreciated Samantha’s professionalism, calm demeanor and reassurance. Despite the challenges, she delivered a beautiful space filled with natural light and function that exceeded all of our expectations!

After three failed meetings with other companies, Samantha created a floor-plan for us based on our vision and priorities. We wanted our small (864 sq ft) house to remain a cozy single story and maintain original charm. She gave us just that. We now have a 3 bed 2 bath home on one story filled with natural light and a kitchen I would have never dreamed of in a St. Paul 1923 home!

I’ve followed JP & Co for several years, loving their style and detail. We needed to update a bathroom in our 1950s rambler, but before delving into just one project, we hired Samantha to help us think through all of our potential remodeling projects. She designed a whole home concept plan for us that we could work through in stages. We continued working with her on design plans for our bathroom/mudroom plans. What I most appreciated about Samantha and JP&Co was how they helped walk us through this process. We needed hand holding in the beginning, not knowing at all what we were getting into nor where to start, even just color schemes! She designed the plans, collaborating along the way, curating design items for our selection and simplifying a very complex world of remodeling. While our project was smaller than their typical whole home remodel projects, she was supportive of the entire way and we now feel so much more confident about our project. Thank you!

Samantha and JP&CO designed and built a beautiful and functional house. I was not involved in the design/build process, but instead purchased the house after it was finished. However, the thoughtfulness in layout fits perfectly into how we live. Additionally, the house is situated to take advantage of the location--we get so much light, but don't have views of the neighbors. The house is very well built and energy efficient. Finally, Samantha/JP&CO provided excellent customer service--explaining in details features of the house, and fixing a minor tilling issue that popped up after about 10 months. I would highly recommend their homes!

It was last summer that we decided to hire JP&CO to do our remodeling of our 1926 bungalow. We didn't shop around for contractors as we live across the street from two homes they had worked on, and we were convinced they were who we were going with from the start. After a long winter, a couple of set backs (mostly weather related), we are now back into our amazingly beautiful and comfortable home. To say it is perfect is an understatement. Samantha heard what we wanted and needed and did it all. Her ability to get all the details right more than once made us just shake our heads in wonderment. Every step along the way was met with positivity and encouragement and professionalism. Our story and a half is now two full stories. Our one bathroom little bungalow now has four bathrooms. The extra rooms are bright and roomy and the windows are exceptional. How many superlatives can I use? The craftsmanship and the quality is incomparable. All of the people who worked so hard over the last several months on our home are truly the best! JP&CO has chosen the greatest team to make their company one of the best in the industry. And we are so proud to call them friends. It started with a crack in our basement floor and blossomed into our dream home. We have zero regrets - none. Bob and I have stayed in a lot of beautiful places throughout our travels, and we are in agreement that this place, our very own home, is the nicest of all.
