My husband and I have owned three homes and all have had some remodeling/renovations done to them. Old South Traditions is by far the best contractor we ever had. Our home we purchased in Georgia needed a new kitchen and we were on a tight budget. Michael and his team got us everything we wanted even with the industry challenges with materials he got the job done. My husband and I are thoroughly satisfied. I recently used Old South Traditions to make restoration repairs to my office condominium unit after receiving water damage from burst sprinkler pipes in another unit three units from mine just before Christmas, 2022. The repairs are excellent and Michael Berry and his team were always available, informative, professional. In these circumstances, one needs a knowledgeable advocate to understand the insurance adjuster estimates and be certain that all damages are properly funded by the casualty insurance carrier. An owner cannot do this without professional help. Furthermore, you need to have confidence that your contractor has high standards of work performance. I always felt that Michael’s work performance standards and his personal integrity would give me the results I wanted and he did not disappoint. I always had the feeling that I could rely on him which kept my anxiety level manageable. In the process, I learned that his company also does original construction and remodeling, both commercial and residential. My family needed a design and drawing for an addition to our house where we plan to do much of the construction. Michael was able to meet with us to get our ideas, make suggestions, and ultimately provide the paperwork we needed to apply for a building permit. The initial consultation was pleasant and we met with Michael in his office twice to review the designs and ultimately approve the work that was done. His ability to tailor the design and drawings to our needs while not exceeding our budget was very helpful.

We have hired old south 3 times over the past 10 years. The first time was to put an addition on our house, the second was to re configure my living/dining and family room, the third time was to completely landscape my yard and install a pool and covered pavilion. With each project, I only had a slight idea what I wanted. Thanks to the great design staff who took my half baked ideas and turned them into the beautiful property I have today. Any concerns I ever had were answered promptly. Even though this is a very busy company, I always felt I was their only client. The personal attention was awesome!
