Professional Contracting

Felipe and his crew did a large project for me (back porch) and myriad smaller items to repair our new home. Short version: I'll definitely be using them again and recommend them, but you need to be engaged. They are not a set-and-forget crew. In general, the quality of the work is high. The porch is exactly as we imagined it and we're quite happy. The only issues I have with some of the work is the fit and finish. Roofing nails missing the joists weren't redone, so now there are nails hanging into my porch. The ramset nails they used to attach the base plate to the concrete pad had some kind of wax/rubber around them which wasn't completely removed prior to painting, so there are weird nubs sticking up on the base plate. Some of the screws on door moulding weren't puttied over. The biggest issue I had with them was communication and scheduling. Felipe forgot a few parts of the project and things got dropped a few times. It worked out because I was paying close attention, but I think he may just have too much going on so things will fall between the cracks. Scheduling was a regular issue. Our project took place right outside of our bedroom, so we wanted to know the night before if they would be there. It was about 50/50 whether they'd give us that heads up. They also broke an expensive high security lock and I was not reimbursed or discounted. On the scale of the project, it was a rounding error in cost, but it's the principle of the matter on that one.

Let me start off by saying the Professional Contracting Builders are super-efficient and professional. They are committed to the project and made sure that we were satisfied with each step of the way. They walked us through every step so we were aware of what they were doing. We wanted to remodel our kitchen since it looked super outdated. We retouched it into a more modern and white kitchen. They added a white marble island that really put the kitchen together. All the staff wore masks and followed social distancing protocol. I'm very satisfied and happy with the new outcome of my kitchen. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Professional Contracting Builders!

Felipe and all of his employees were great! Did a big remodel on our master bath and moved bravely from the 70s to the 21st century! Huge walk in shower and custom vanity is gorgeous! Felipe and Art checked in with us on all decisions and made some excellent recommendations. Finished within the timeline discussed. We have another bathroom to go and will definitely be calling Professional Contracting Builders!

We did a complete master bathroom renovation and Professional Contracting Builders were legends from start to finish. They scoped out the project and held to it, despite a few unexpected complications. Their attention to detail and careful craftsmanship created a masterpiece of a master bathroom. Don't bother using anyone else. if need be, wait for them to be available. They are well worth it.

Art and his team are hard-working, honest and polite. We hired them to remodel our Master Bathroom and the workmanship and results were superb! Their attention to detail is fantastic and we will definitely use them again and will not hesitate to recommend him to our friends and family

Felipe Silva ripped me off for $53,574.75 last year. And he did things that were not on the contract then he charged me $8,000 for tape and texture . That's what is usually charged for a home to times bigger than mine. And he didn't even start to take and texture. He left my home uninhabitable and now I'm homeless . He took advantage of me because I have a severe mental illness And Felipe Silva and his in the closet lover Art used my mental illness to their advantage . I have two counties that ran him out of town now Belen will soon know how much of a crook these two guys are . And Felipes son was given some personal items that Felipe found in my wall and now his son uses them . I seen a video of it .

I hired Professional Contracting Builders to additionally make my porch bigger. Felipe and his crew were very professional and easy to work with. Its been difficult to find a good contractor in the Albuquerque/Belen area so i highly recommend them, they did an amazing job!

Professional Contracting Builders remodeled my guest bathroom and they did a wonderful job! My husband did his research to find the best remodeling company and we were lucky enough to find them! Their crew is great and so is their communication. Would love to work with them again soon in our next upcoming project.

Had Felipe and his crew do my roof and they worked fast and great!! It was suppose to rain one of the last days of getting the roof finished and they worked hard to finish it a day early. I'm very impressed with their work, i will definitely be hiring them again.

Art and his crew are amazing! He was able to take my lofty ideas and scale it to my budget. Whenever I had a question, no matter how early or late, he always answered it promptly. The guys were on time and very courteous as well. What could've been a stressful remodel of my entire home, ended up being an enjoyable experience. It felt like I was working with a friend instead of a hired contractor.

Outstanding! That is how I would describe Professional Contracting. From preplanning to execution, my experience with this firm has been a pleasure. In preplanning, Art and Felipe took the initiative to offer suggestions on how to bring down costs but maintain quality. They followed up quickly in correspondence and agreed to coordinate with us in areas where we could do some of the work ourselves. Our architect, who was from another firm and proved to be incompetent, had incorrect measurements on the plan that required constant changes. Art, Felipe and every one of their crews worked with us as we compensated for the architect’s errors. From the outset of construction, various crews were onsite every day, and some worked weekends to stay on schedule. If I requested a change or noticed something was not quite in the right place, the response from any crew was always “no problem,” and the correction was made. Our project, the remodeling of a 950 sq. ft. studio/RV garage into a studio involved converting the garage and pre-existing studio space into four rooms and a bathroom; relocating the bathroom from the front to the rear of the structure; relocating the swamp cooler chase from the south to the north wall; installing additional windows and doors as well as new heating, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, tankless water heater, swamp cooler, cabinetry and flooring; and applying new stucco over the entire structure. I have no hesitation saying that Professional Contracting is a five-star company.

Felipe Silva, Art De la Cerda, and The Professional Contracting team did an amazing job rebuilding us a brand new home. Our project was not their everyday project/build there were some bumps in the road, but in the end they did a FABULOUS job! We're thankful for their patience and dedication to building us a safe and beautiful home. A million thanks and praise, from Mr. & Mrs. Santillan.
