Hello, I’ve had the best experience with Remodel Works in Poway, CA. I am currently in the process of having my kitchen redone and the assistance that I’ve gotten from my designer John (Sensitive Informatino Hidden), (CMKBD #801883 Certified Master Kitchen & Bath Designer) and Torrey (Sensitive Informatino Hidden) (Project Manager) has been outstanding. They have walked me through the entire process and explained every detail so that I understand everything that is going to happen. I am truly impressed with the service that I have received from this company.

Remodel Works remodeled our bathrooms many years ago and they are still looking great. When it came time to remodel our kitchen I knew I wanted to go back to them. From first contact to last Remodel Works was the best. Our designer, Meghan, was invaluable. She worked patiently with us to make our vision come to life . The project manager, Jeff, kept our remodel going smoothly and finishing on time. Any problems were promptly resolved. I want to also thank the subcontractors who did quality work on every thing. My kitchen looks fantastic and I love it!

Remodel Works did an outstanding job in my bathrooms, hallway and laundry room. They came in and saved the day from a different company that filed bankruptcy and left me hanging in the middle of my remodel. I was nervous and skeptical at first, but it didn't take long for me to put my entire faith in the hands of this company. Dawn Olsen was my original designer and when she moved to this company, I felt comfortable giving them a chance since I could still work with her. So glad I did. I met with Dawn and John DeLuca and they finalized the design and had everything scheduled. George, the owner even called me which helped put me at ease as well. Danny Navarro was my project manager (outstanding) and kept me informed throughout the entire process. I could expect a daily call to update me or even make extra suggestions - which turned out to be such great ideas. Bob and/or Ashley (also outstanding) were on site almost daily - started early and stayed all day, cleaned up daily and made sure that I could still live in the master bedroom during the remodel. They were ahead of schedule throughout the entire remodel - it was so great to come home from work every night and see the progress that they made. The best part of my remodel is looking at my finished project every day and telling myself that it was a blessing in disguise that I had the opportunity to work with these really wonderful people and company.

It was obvious from the very beginning of discussing and envisioning the project that John loved his job in designing bathrooms and kitchens, which made it fun for us to deal with what seemed to be overwhelming decisions for us. Remodel works did an amazing job! Design - working with Kate was an absolute pleasure. Trying to decide what you want in a kitchen is hard enough with tons of choices. Kate took the time to interview us to determine what it was we liked and didn't like. When we would get stuck trying to decide, she would make suggestions and show us what works together and how it would look in the kitchen. Without Kate, we would likely still be trying to decide on different design elements. Her keen sense of style along with her ability to picture what we wanted made design choices easy. Construction - Construction can be a pain. Something will always go wrong as that is the nature of construction. Daniel was there every step of the way and took care of everything from the sub-contractors to helping adjust the installed shelves. His attention to detail and more importantly his attention to customer service make Remodel Works are exactly what you want in a contractor.

Remodel works just completed our kitchen and master bathroom, and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Design: Remodel Works’ experience with kitchens and bathrooms was invaluable. From the first in home consultation, their team made recommendations on how to make the space more functional and helped us visualize what the end result would be like. Those small things make all the difference. Material selection was easy with their guidance, and the renderings they created helped us understand the space we were creating. Schedule: We came to Remodel Works with a tight deadline (a baby on the way), and they more than rose to the challenge. The project manager, design team, and the operations team all worked together to make sure the spaces were completed on schedule. This is our second remodel using “Remodel Works Bath ad Kitchen”. This review involved the complete remodel of our main bath and bedroom suite. The results are amazing and many people who have seen the remodel in person or in photos say it looks like a hotel and spa. Kate was our designer and she did an excellent design taking into account our ideas and input. She is well trained and experienced with design work and helped us put our ideas into practice. Jeff was our project manager and coordinated the many efforts of a large remodel with great success. Remodel Works provides detailed CAD drawing and these are critical documents to review with your designer and project manage before the work begins. We had the opportunity to review and make changes with Jeff and Kate. The Remodel employees were greatly skilled and applied expert builds all along the remodel. Our family is extremely happy with our recent amazing kitchen remodel by the Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen team. Being a family of 6 with 2 dogs, Remodel Works was professional and timely throughout the entire process. John De Luca, our designer and also known as the Kitchen Magician, Kitchenaire Extraordinaire, is just that — a magician. He is inspiring in his ability to see a space and the potential it has. His vision was unlike anything we imagined, but accomplished everything we needed. Not only is it incredibly functional but it is BEAUTIFUL! Hello! We had our master bathroom remodeled by Remodel Works. Ryan (our project manager) and Lance (the main remodeler) did a great job. We were pleased with the outcome so much that we contracted with Remodel Works again to do our kitchen. The process from beginning to end was well organized. The designer (Matt) was very competent, friendly, and personal. The family vibe/feeling was very evident. Once the design was finalized and the cost was agreed on that was it! Throughout the entire process Remodel Works never asked for any addition funds. if something needed to be modified or upgraded, Ryan worked out all the logistics and made it happen. Without going into too much detail in the few specific instances, just know that we were very happy with the outcome. No matter how many questions concerns or requests we made (I felt bad a few times) Ryan and Lance responded/addressed them without any hint of annoyance or pushback. The projects were completed on time with hardly any issues. There were a few other employees that made an appearance that I cannot recall their names that deserve some credit as well. We were very happy with all the Remodel Works employees we interacted with. The one small negative was that some of the tasks were subcontracted. A few of the subcontractors didn’t have same level of quality as Remodel Works. However, Remodel Works was able to get them to come back and attempt to address anything we were not happy with. The decision to use Remodel Works for our new kitchen was an easy one. As soon as my husband and I met with John De Luca and Mary Jennings, we knew we were in good hands. They are top-notch professionals with many, many years of experience. Dear George (Owner), I want to give a shout out to Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen located in Poway. A huge Thank You to John De Luca for his patience and guidance in creating our beautifully remodeled condo in San Diego. John was so wonderful to work with, as was the entire Remodel Works team, hello Mary from across the hall. The experience was so stress-free, I asked John if he would come and do the same for my home in North Orange County. I have talked with several contractors in our area, and it turned out to be a push-to-sign-on-the-dotted-line experience, even before they would give us an estimate! John was exactly the opposite. He spent hours with us discussing our needs and wants, and helped us to design not only our kitchen, but the bathrooms too. John shared with us a detailed scope of work with real pricing, not just a guess estimate and also handed us a work schedule, which informed us as to what was going to happen each and every day of our remodel. The schedule even supplied the names of employees who would be working in our home on any given day, through completion. In the end, they did exactly what they said they would do, and in the timeframe promised - we all couldn't be happier! We only wish they worked as far as North Orange County. Bonnie M.

Following first instincts in kitchen remodeling, we went to the Home Depot Design Center….and, although their service was polite and well-organized, we had no idea of what it was we really wanted, and so left with the same lack of inspiration we had going in. Only by serendipity (making a fortunate discovery by accident) did I stop a Remodel Works contractor driving a company vehicle from a job site, and asked for his business card. We then stopped by their show room at 12147 Kirkham Rd in Poway. We found helpful staff there, and examples of everything needed for a remodel - including various displays making it a bit easier to reimagine changes to our kitchen. John De Luca, Kitchenaire Extraordinaire was our Project Manager- friendly, professional, and talented. John came to our house, studied with us what we wanted to keep, and what we wanted to change. He took measurements and photographs that day; then back to his office to apply 3D software. What had been a lack of inspiration on our part, he set to software. He never pushed any product brand or style, he simply explained pros and cons of alternatives. John later portrayed (on 3D software) what products we said we liked, and superimposed (in detail) everything into possible revisions. Once we put everything together we were no longer confused. We knew exactly what we wanted. We could see it. Our onsite Project Manager, Daniel, supervised everything and did an amazing job of coordinating the entire project. From demolition to final touch-ups, Remodel Works’ whole approach was collaborative, and they kept us informed every step of the way. Of course, there were Covid-induced supply chain issues, but Daniel kept our project as close as he was able to expected completion dates. In the end, our kitchen turned out fabulous. No hesitation whatsoever about recommending Remodel Works.

BREATHTAKING, is the word I would use to describe my new kitchen designed by John De Luca, aka Kitchenaire Extraordinaire, for my 1960’s, San Diego kitchen. My husband and I never fully realized how inefficient and odd-looking our existing kitchen was and how it could be redesigned into a space of such functionality and beauty. John, who has many years of design experience, created not only the kitchen of our dreams, but answered all of our questions in a timely fashion as well. We have never remodeled before, and his ongoing support was truly remarkable and made things easy. It was obvious to us that John loves his craft and we felt truly taken care of by him. Everything I needed, except the appliances were within hands reach. I was given a wide array of choices and helpful suggestions. I liked that I was able to see all of my selections together, rather than going from vendor to vendor. Both Mary & John are experienced and skilled in the field of remodeling. He went out of his way to help me with small, miscellaneous things that made me feel like Remodel Works hires people who genuinely care. Remodel Works Review Before we chose RW we got 2 other estimates. RW was not the lowest. Also, we visited a few neighbors who had used RW for their Kitchen Remodeling and Bathroom Remodeling. We were impressed with what our neighbors had to say. Based on the above, we chose RW for our Kitchen and Guest Bathroom Remodeling. Eric Fassett was our designer and Jeff Aldridge was our Project Manager. Eric guided us through the design process; we visited the RW showroom multiple times; he showed us the 3-D rendering of our Remodeled Kitchen and Guest Bathroom; selection of cabinets; back splash. Eric is excellent in Color coordination. We had a few challenges during the design phase - Designing cabinets to accommodate our Culligan Reverse Osmosis (RO) System. RW informed me they could disconnect the RO System but did not want to reconnect it. I respected their decision and got involved in how to fit the RO system in the new Cabinet. It turned out that we had to do some major revision to the cabinet design: Bianca (Office Manger) was very helpful in the redesign process. RW did an excellent job with the re-design, even though the process was very challenging. RW’s process is very detailed and at times feels very painstaking. However, I can say without any reservation, it is well worth it. We were very impressed with their detailed daily schedule; we knew what was happening each day and who was coming. Our PM Jeff did an excellent job in executing the project. We had a few challenges as with any construction project. Jeff and our flooring contractor worked very well seamlessly, fully to my expectations. RW team members Devin, Lance, Chris (and if I missed anyone; please excuse me) did an excellent job and were very professional to work with. All the subcontractors were excellent with a few exceptions. RW has done an excellent job in vetting their subcontractors. Drywall hangers were the worst - left the house and the garage full of dust. The painter Harry’s work was OK. All other subcontractors were exceptional. Overall, I highly recommend RW and we will use them again in our future projects.

Kate, our designer did a wonderful job of pulling tile and all other decor to give us the look we wanted to remodel our master bathroom. We were very pleased with the final outcome!

After interviewing four design-build firms for my dream kitchen remodel, I chose Remodel Works for their team’s professionalism, expertise, and design creativity. No other design-build firm provided such a thorough site inspection nor generated as many innovative ideas during the initial in-home consultation as Remodel Works did. Kitchen remodel started November 9th, 2020 and was scheduled for six weeks. They finished early, which was a major plus. From the first phone call to the last day of the project, Remodel Works was highly engaged and supportive. For instance, we wanted a new Kitchen but did not have an idea of what to do. John De Luca designed a kitchen that exceeded our expectations. Ryan the project manager was straight forward, communicated well and got the job on time. Our new kitchen has made it the center of our house. Prior to the remodel, the family would seldom utilize the Kitchen unless it was for cooking. Now it has become the hub our home. Friends and family are amazed at our new kitchen. We constantly receive positive feedback about the design and color schemes. Remodel Works is a professional company, and I will utilize them again for any house remodels.

We cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Remodel Works. They recently remodeled two of our bathrooms, which also included knocking a couple of walls to reconfigure the layout on our second floor. We have already recommended them to so many people! From the start, they were highly professional, showing up exactly when they said they would, fully prepared. They promise a particular timeline, and unlike so many other contractors, they actually stuck to it 100%. Really! They have their system completely worked out, so that every piece of the puzzle is accounted for before they start their work. You could also tell they really enjoyed working with each other, which made for a really pleasant working environment overall. Matt did a great job giving us his professional opinion in line with our vision and tweaking things to make them even better, always considering our preferences above all else. We had a pretty grand vision, and they were thorough, patient, excited, and flexible with us throughout the process. By the time they got started, they had ensured all details had been accounted for and decisions had been made, so they needed no guidance or supervision from us at all after they got started. We fully trusted them to take care of it independently with no oversight (and even lived elsewhere during the process), and they did not disappoint. We were thrilled with the workmanship and look of the remodel. My husband and I were truly so impressed by Remodel Works, and we plan to recommend them to everyone we know!

Remodel Works recently remodeled my kitchen, fireplace, powder room, and kids’ bathroom. It was my first big remodel project, and I could not be happier with the experience and results. I loved how easy it was to pick materials and finalize the design with my design team (Ryan and Sophia). I also appreciated how detailed the bid and the contract were. And I liked that they were up front about being more expensive than a regular general contractor because they are a design/build firm with a showroom. The work on the house went very smoothly and ended exactly when it was supposed to (with no surprise added costs). I was provided a day-to-day schedule so I always knew what work was going to be done, and Lance, the project manager, was awesome about keeping in touch and letting me know if there were any changes in the schedule. Lance was also super responsive and great about addressing any issues that arose. I would absolutely use Remodel Works again and highly recommend them.

They are very professional and experienced. I liked that they offer a one-stop shop for both design and installation. The fact that they also don't use sub-contractors is a plus.

From the very beginning the experience with them was amazing. Kate was an awesome designer consultant who took us through the entire process. Lance Hawkins, our project manager, was great at keeping us up to date and ensuring the project moved smoothly. Brett Maguire was THE MAN who did most of the work in our new beautiful bathroom. Nicest man you’ll ever meet: professional, meticulous and detailed oriented, clean and organized, he literally transformed our bathroom. The other crews that came to do specific work like dry wall, tile and shower glass door were equally as professional and nice.

I recommend Remodel Works for any bathroom/kitchen remodel you are considering. I worked with an excellent designer (Mary Jennings) and a very competent contractor (Jeff Aldridge) to get my master bathroom and walk-in closet redesigned/remodeled. She understood that I wanted to blend the remodel with my 1924 Spanish house and also that I needed to stay within my budget. She provided detailed designs that allowed me to see what the finished project would look like so I could make good decisions. Jeff and his technicians were always professional and polite. He was able complete the project in a reasonable amount of time. Any problems/concerns that came up got solved. Happy I worked with them!

We hired Remodel Works to renovate our kitchen and worked with Ryan and Sophia with the design. The experience was very positive! Our project started out relatively small (really only cosmetic changes) and during the designing phase, it evolved to a much bigger project. However, Ryan and Sophia were great throughout the entire design process! They were very patient with us and really worked with us to find the best material for the look we were trying to achieve! Ryan even invited us into his home to view his cabinets that we were interested in. It was very helpful to see it on a bigger scale than the sample. I was already recommending them before the work even started. Once the project started, Ryan Terrell was our project manager and everything went pretty smoothly. There were no major set backs! I am very detail oriented and like clean lines as well as symmetry, and Ryan caught on pretty quickly and really made sure we were happy, within reason of course! He was great with the last minute changes as well. My only feedback is that they seemed to be really busy (which is a good thing!) but sometimes it was hard to get attention to our project. However, I would still highly recommend Remodel Works! We are completely in love with our new kitchen and look forward to hiring them for another project in the future.

We renovated two bathrooms with Remodel Works and can not recommend them more highly. Our designer, Ryan, was really helpful and easy to work with. Our project manager, Brett, was excellent! He visited the site frequently, was very attentive to detail, and was proactive about communicating with us. He also made sure that all the subcontractors knew exactly what to do, were respectful to us and our space, and kept our home very clean. We worked with other contractors before and hated them by the end. Not the case with Remodel Works! We will definitely use them for our next project.

I recently completed my second remodel using Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen and I couldn’t be happier. My first project was a Kitchen Remodel done 10 years ago in a previous home. This time I needed my Kitchen and Master Bath updated. Remodel Works scheduled them to be done simultaneously which I appreciated. I again had Ryan Christenson as designer with Sophia Davis as design assistant. Sophia was incredibly helpful in the process of choosing materials and colors including flooring into the mix. Brett was friendly, easy going and professional…kept me up to date and was quick to respond when I did have questions. What I love most about Remodel Works is that they provide a work schedule with a start date and end date…and a day by day listing of the work being done and who will be in your home doing the work. They have finished on time and on budget both times I used them. It was a pleasure working with Remodel Works.

We have had two major remodels since with Remodel Works: our master bath and our kitchen. Both jobs involved gutting existing materials. The bathroom involved wall removal. I love Remodel Works. The people are professional and creative. They come out and view existing room and you describe what you want. They then make an appointment with you to go through designs that have generated. Ryan was great, adapting our design with features important to our family. As a result, our kitchen is now the favorite space for family time. Sophia was our designer. She listened to us and selected materials that would work well together. She always gave us several options and let us make the final decision. My husband and I didn't always agree on things, so having choices was important. The master bath was done with a different team from Remodel Works, but was fantastic. It went from a barely usable space to a spa-like en suite. We were stoked to see it used as a cover image for some of the promo materials at Remodel Works. I highly recommend!

Ryan and Sophia at Remodel works have been working I'm my new kitchen. The current one is 30 years old, so the face lift is badly needed. Since Ryan worked on my master bathroom 8 years ago and I still love it, I know the kitchen details are going to be great. We have just completed our second renovation using RemodelWorks Kitchen and Bath. Our first project was a kitchen remodel done 7 years ago. For this latest remodel, we wanted to update our master bedroom and bathroom, and turn a 5th bedroom into a master closet. The bathroom was a complete tear out and re-build. One of the most complex features of the master bathroom was a large walk-in shower with a linear drain. We wanted the best remodel company to tackle this complex job. To get started, we contacted Ryan Christenson at Remodel Works. Ryan was the designer we used on our kitchen remodel. One thing we love about the RemodelWork design process is that they listen to what we want. We did do our due diligence and interviewed several other companies but, once again, RemodelWorks made us feel that our project would be in the best hands. RemodelWorks was not the least expensive, nor the most expensive. Meeting with Ryan and Sophia Davis, Showroom Manager and Design Assistant, we worked together to turn our dreams into reality. Sophia was great at sourcing material that matched what we had envisioned, and Ryan brought our ideas to life. After the work of the design was done and all the materials chosen, we received a contract with the exact amount our remodel would cost. No hidden surprises; as long as we didn’t make any change orders. We were then handed off to our Project Manager, Ryan Terrell. He met with us and brought the cad drawings to go over the entire project down to the smallest detail to make sure everything was exactly right. Once we signed off, all the materials were ordered. It is amazing the horror stories you hear on contractor delays when items are delayed or back-ordered. This does not happen with RemodelWorks’ process. Once all the material arrived, we received the work schedule with a start date and end date for our project. The schedule included who was going to be in our home each day and what they were going to be doing. RemodelWorks came in on-time and on budget once again for our new project. The construction teams were immaculate and left our home clean every day. We are thrilled with result. The entire Remodel Works Team was a pleasure to work with.

In July we interviewed several contractors to remodel our kitchen. Following a very thorough review we selected Remodel Works. A team of the very best professionals, Ryan, Sophia, Bianca and Brett demonstrated in every phase the reason why we made our decision to use them for our kitchen remodel. We met with 4 very reputable remodeling contractors to discuss this project and asked them to present concept. After reviewing conceptual designs, we picked “Remodel Works”. It was a really great decision. John De Luca and Mary Jennings put together the perfect design and were very attentive to all our request. Project manager Jeff Aldridge was on top of construction all the time and resolved all arising issues immediately. On the scale from 1 to 10 I will grade Remodel works’ team above and beyond 10. Remodel Works, specifically Mary Jennings, John De Luca and Elijah Peterson, did a fantastic job in my kitchen remodel. From the first time we met, they listened to my vision and put it into reality. They worked with me using specific pieces such as backsplash tiles and my appliances and made sure everything worked out. Since the kitchen was one piece of the overall project, they worked closely with the GC and coordinated the project to make sure it all came together as it did. This is where Elijah came in, overseeing the day-to-day pieces as they all came together. He also made sure my questions and requests were addressed timely and satisfactorily. The project remained on time and on budget. I knew exactly what to expect and when. If you want a great remodel project done, from start to finish, there is only one company - Remodel Works!

Use pictures from PInterest and hard copies, this gives designers an overview of your style. Spend some detailed time in Remodel Works show room. Go over your final plans in great detail, this is your most important step. Remodel Works will not start until you approve every detail. Changes in the middle of a project can be costly and impact your plans. The plans cover electric, paint, plumbing, countertops, cabinets, tile, doors, appliance set-up areas, faucets, lighting. Don’t count on things you said verbally, check to see if your requests are in the plans as many things are going on during remodel planning. Other than small changes we stayed with our plans. You pick your own major appliances and flooring which gives you price options, medium or higher end. From beginning to end (seven weeks, which was exactly the Remodel Works estimate) they stayed on schedule. There are very busy days and some down days. My remodel was extensive and included a large kitchen, family room with fireplace, bathroom, laundry room and office. Two designers Matthew and Eric arrived at my home and did a great assessment of the job. This was my fourth company who had all done in-house assessments. It was my family’s first large remodel. I was impressed with the designer’s experience and their pricing was one of the best of the four companies. We continued to work with Matthew on our ideas that I had collected pictures over several years. Matthew added many suggestions, including some cost savings with the fireplace that turned out fantastic. Matthew greatly enhanced my style and taste. We then met with the project manager Jeff. He spent a great deal of time going through the project in immense detail. He made some very practical suggestions which enhanced the remodel foot print. Highly recommend Remodel Works

Kitchen, Master Bath, and Laundry Room Remodels. Minor updates in Dining Room and Living Room Our designers, John De Luca and Mary Jennings, were able to translate my wife's very strong design visions into reality. They added value by leveraging their considerable experience with materials and design choices. The projects were completed on time and on budget. Our project manager, Jeff Aldridge, was responsive, truthful, and courteous - all while being more than tolerant of a few change orders that ordinarily would have affected the timeline. Jeff and Remodel Works were always up-front about when it was in our best interests to work directly with one of their recommended sub-contractors instead of incurring a marked up rate, and both their retained and recommended sub-contractors did outstanding work. Jasper, the tile guy, and Kim, the cabinet guy, were both true artists. You may pay top dollar for Remodel Works, but they are well worth it. My only critiques are that they could use some improvements in the area of tools and/or systems to track and manage materials logistics and scheduling. An experienced company like theirs should have realized the additional time needed to do the extra interior painting we asked for, and shouldn't need to be reminded to order tile with enough lead time to get it delivered before installation is scheduled. Our kitchen and master bath (the first project), and our laundry room (the second project) are all show-stoppers now. We are very happy with the work that Remodel Works did for us.

We recently completed a remodel with Remodel Works. We had both bathrooms and part of our kitchen updated. In many ways it was a difficult job since we are on the 11th floor of a condo and our living spaces are fairly small. From start to finish, everyone from the front receptionist, to the accounting office, from the designers to the construction workers, was professional and efficient and respectful of our time and property. Matt and Kate seemed to really understand the “feel” we wanted and were able to help us choose a design and materials that achieved that. They offered suggestions without being pushy and clearly explained the pros and cons of the things we wanted to do. When I made requests for atypical features, they worked hard to research and figure out a way to do it. They were patient and thorough and made the process stress-free. Elijah, our project manager, was incredibly knowledgeable and easy to work with. He coordinated everything from demolition to installation and kept us informed. He made sure our remodel was as non-disruptive to our neighbors as possible and was meticulous in ensuring that the HOA rules were followed. He was completely accessible to us for the duration of our job. He returned emails and texts promptly. When errors were made, they were corrected right away. We left town for several weeks while the job was underway and Elijah called or texted if he had questions and sent pictures regularly. All the work done was of high quality. I absolutely love my new bathrooms; they are beautiful and functional. I can’t believe I can write this, given how the construction/remodel industry has a reputation for delays and cost overages. But our job started ON TIME ended ON TIME for the exact price we had agreed upon! We have built two home and remodeled another. This was by far the smoothest and least stressful project we’ve had.

After a lot of research and gathering competing bids from 4 of the top rated design build firms in San Diego, we decided to go with Remodel Works. I’m happy to say it was the right choice! The team there have worked together for ages, so there is a lot of synergy between different teams in the company. From the initial designer to the architectural drawing team they did not miss a beat. The same was true for the project management team and all of the staff working each day on site. I found out that Lance Hawkins, the Ops Director, had been at the company for 19 years and the same was true for much of the Remodel Works team. That is the kind of team that can pull off a project and make it look easy. I would recommend this company to anyone who is thinking of getting their remodel started. The biggest challenge was the first step.

I can’t say enough good things about Remodel Works and the design process I experienced with John De Luca. Knowing that John has won many design awards, I was excited about working with him for my kitchen remodel. Upon our first meeting, I knew that John was going to be a pleasure to work with. Recently my wife and I had the privilege of once again using Remodel Works for a complete kitchen remodel. Several years ago I had this wonderful company do a remodel on my shower, and due to the quality of work performed, I chose them again. We first consulted with Ryan Christenson our design consultant, at their showroom in Poway and we were guided every step of the way to pick and choose what we wanted for our new kitchen. They came to our house, took measurements and photos. Later we met with our wonderful project manager Greg Ransweiler. Every detail was covered by him and Chris Zimlich, our daily onsite guru. Now, let me sing some praise of these two men. Always there for us; went beyond the scope of their job to make sure all of the "subs" performed well every day. The job was completed on time with only a few minor delays; no fault of theirs. I would, in a heartbeat recommend this company to anyone seeking to have a kitchen or bath remodeled. A great company and even greater people to work on your projects.

They listen to our needs and wants for the design and remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms, and worked within our budget without trying to upsell us. Very refreshing! We were also on a tight schedule and they help us make it happen in a timely manner. Their workers and sight foreman were easy to work with, I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We hired Remodel Works to renovate our 30+ year old bathroom. I am a service contractor in a related industry and I have in the past cobbled together my own home remodeling projects. This time I decided to go with a turn key contractor and very happy that I did. It was a little more expensive than I could have arranged on my own, but the time and efficiency gained was worth every penny! And I believe the project was priced competitively. From design to final it went very well. The normal little glitches that always come up were handled in stride as would be expected from a professional outfit. We were given a schedule which was adhered to, in fact it was completed with a few days to spare! There was a small change order for dry rot repairs that were not known at the time of the estimate. After the job was finished and paid for a small warranty item manifested regarding a drain, which turned out not to be their responsibility but was cheerfully handled the same day with no additional charge! I recommend Remodel Works whole heartedly.

I highly recommend Remodel Works. They were extremely professional, always on time and finished 10 days earlier than was projected. They made a detailed work sheet to show me what was expected to be done every day. The cost was very competitive and the final result was a gorgeous kitchen! Remodel Works provided a high end product at a reasonable price. Our design consultant, Steve Hellman was amazing to work with. He listed to us and integrated all of our design ideas and concerns, while guiding us along, using his skills and expertise. Steve is detailed oriented which was crucial for our small kitchen in order to get every inch out of storage needs while freeing up circulation space for movement throughout the kitchen. The showroom floor offered many styles and ideas for material selections. We were able to put a pallet together quickly with Steve's guidance. The renderings and construction drawings were a tremendous help in visualizing the final product. Coming from an Architectural background, I was impressed with the quality, accuracy, and level of detail of the CAD files. Steve maintained contact during the construction phase and until project completion. Lance Hawkins, our Sr Project Manager, was extremely professional throughout the process and oversaw all vital phases of the schedule. He checked in with us regularly to ensure our satisfaction and updated us on any progress or changes as needed. He provided a construction schedule that included daily activities and corresponding trades. Lance stuck to the schedule and completed our kitchen on the exact day as originally intended. Absolutely unheard of for a kitchen remodel. Some of the most important factors to us was the cleanliness, scheduling and organization of the day to day construction. The daily trades and subcontractors were all amazing people, respectful, and friendly. Remodel Works maintains relationships with their workforce and contractors, thereby providing a professional service that can be counted on. With two young children and a puppy in our house during this time, all workers completed a thorough cleanup on a daily basis. All costs were included and defined up front. Upon a few occasions, demolition revealed the need for additional scope requirements such as wall insulation, baseboard changes, and plumbing line alterations for which Remodel Works took care of with no additional charge. We couldn't be happier with the overall experience through design and construction, and the final product speaks for itself. Quality materials, professional service, and good people that looked out for our best interest. Remodel Works will most certainly be our first call for our next project. Thank you much!!!

Working with Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen was a pleasure. The designer Steven, helped us greatly in designing the concept I had in my head. He paid attention to details that I did not even think about and the design rendering looked amazing. When construction was complete it looked even better, specifically our custom kitchen cabinets are amazing I could not have gotten these anywhere else. Our project manager Nick, helped construction go as smoothly as possible, and his crew Chris G., Jose, Chris Z, were very courteous and did quality work inside of my home. There were some unforeseen problems, which they could have charged me, but they dealt with those problems free of charge. This is not a company that will go after you on change orders, their focus is on quality and keeping you, the customer, happy. I had a great experience working with Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen and will use them again in the future.

How lovely to have discovered Design Consultant, Steve Hellman, & REMODEL WORKS! They designed our kitchen with fine detail, provided workable suggestions for fixtures and cabinets that fit our needs (providing detailed CAD drawings as well as 3-D renderings) & delivered a reasonable work schedule that was overseen by a keenly intuitive site manager (Lance), all-the-while, finishing the job a week ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend doing business with this organization (the entire team was respectful, courteous, and professional); they bent over backwards to finish a quality product that was designed to work efficiently and last a lifetime.

Thanks to the vision and commitment of design consultant steve Hellman, RW transformed an ill-conceived master bathroom into a striking, elegantly pristine space. Ours is not a cookie-cutter house and the remodel was not a cookie-cutter project, but steve turned liabilities into assets as he re-imagined the bathroom (choosing, for example, not to fight an unforgivingly curved outside wall but to echo it in shaping the adjacent closet we wanted). From our impromptu first visit to RW (a standout in the pages of Houzz) and Steve's first visit to our place, he 'got' us; and well beyond the scope of his formal role he stayed with us, monitoring the ups and inevitable downs of a complicated process and setting a high bar for quality -- just good enough wasn't good enough. In the planning phases he instinctively pre-empted problems; going forward he sought to resolve those that couldnt have been anticipated and advocated in our behalf when support had to come from top management. And it always did (special shout-out to Lori): RW was uncommonly generous. Their skilled-trade professionals were responsible, job-smart, and consistently good-humored (triple shout-out to Pete here), in keeping with the company's focus on customer service. So steve had great backup. But he was the engine -- creative, authoritative, unfailingly collaborative, always available, off the charts when it came to following up. Lucky us.

Our master bathroom was redesigned and updated with the excellent help of the Design Consultant, Steve Hellman. The specifications and materials were perfect; and every one of the workmen were courteous, professional, and left the condo immaculate. I highly recommend this company.

I would like to comment on the Kitchen remodel job that I recently had completed by Remodel Works Bath & Kitchen. This was not just a refinish of the cabinets. We had the whole kitchen ripped out. This included building a new wall to close off the area where the pass through area had been. In addition to replacing the cabinets and the counter top with a tile backsplash the old fluorescent lights were removed and new recessed led lights were installed. The new appliances that were installed included a dishwasher, a stainless steel sink with faucet and garbage disposal, and a stove with an overhead microwave. All the men involved were very professional in the performance of their jobs. I would like especially to acknowledge Steve the company's design consultant. Steve was very patient with us as we tried to determine what we wanted. Steve ultimately designed a layout that we like very much. I would also like to acknowledge Paul the Project Manager. Paul was always just a phone call away. He managed the project with a daily presence, sometimes personally stepping in to do something that needed to be done. Both of these men are to be highly recognized for the professional way they did their jobs, making a stressful time move smoothly to completion.

We were very impressed with remodel works. The planning/design stage was very easy and it was a pleasure working with Steve who guided me through the entire process giving me his honest opinion on what the options were, what would look good and where I could save on cost if I wanted to. Once the the decisions had been made then RW generated the designs and gave me a schedule of when work would start and who would do what on each day. When the work started the Project Manager was Jeff who was also very nice to deal with - letting us know how things are progressing, pointing out any issues if he saw any and how we could deal with them(we didn't really have any big issues thankfully!) and making time & himself available to talk to us about any concerns we had. For most of the project we had David doing the actual work and he was great - he seemed to be a real perfectionist and I was very impressed with this work, as well as how tidy he kept everything. The folks that did the Tiling also did a fantastic job! We got the bath room we wanted and it looks great! And I have to mention that the follow up by Steve was also fantastic - its great when someone check ins with you and asks if everything is OK,whether we were happy!

I chose Remodel Works specifically because of their reputation for extraordinary customer service, and their attitude and work on my kitchen, bath and flooring were superb. My 1951 kitchen presented a number of design challenges such as too many openings to other rooms that limited storage space and a sink that faced a dark interior wall. My designer, Steve, came up with creative solutions that gave me the ample storage I needed and a look that pleased me---all the while keeping within my budget. He went way beyond the call of duty in making sure I was happy with the details of the project and answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. The project manager, Lance, likewise was very responsive and did a wonderful job of managing all the sub-projects of the remodel so that everything came in on schedule and all the details were "right". The techs working on the project were true craftsmen who cared about their work and the end result is a testament to their care. In terms of the budget, I always knew exactly where I was and there were never any unpleasant surprises. Overall, I can’t say enough good things about Remodel Works and recommend them highly with no reservations.

Had an excellent experience with Remodel Works on my recent full kitchen replacement. Am so glad I decided to go with a single contractor and they did everything to make it easy yet collaborative on this extensive project. They have a disciplined system of project management combined with a skilled staff that is great at problem solving. The sub-contractors they engage should be called "craftsmen" as the attention to detail went beyond my expectations. I was particularily lucky to have Nick as my project manager and feel that he had much to do with the success of my project. He kept me informed every step of the way so that I knew exactly was was going to be done, without having to ask. He showed an urgency when there was a problem, but most of all my full kitchen replacement is just beautiful, was completed on time and within the expected budget. The team at remodel works had the difficult task of remodeling our kitchen. Being that the house is three stories and almost 80 years old, it was definitely not a cookie cutter remodel. We met with Ryan Christiansen and Alleigh Simpson many times defore the plans were to my satisfaction. We were given all the time We felt we needed and all changes requested were incorporated without complaint. Since I am a professionally trained chef, I had many special requests, all of which ended up in the final product. I was specially impressed with the exceptional leadership and dedication of the job manager Nick Dohrmann. There was nothing he forgot or overlooked and with his professional manner managed his people to work as a efficient team. No special request was denied and if not possible was explained to me in "my language" being the anxious homeowner. The cabinet installer Kim Scanco not only pulled off the almost impossible task of installing all cabinets without nicks, bumps or dents, but did so efficiently, professionally and with a bright attitude. Lastly, Chris Garcia, deserves a shout out for his unending efforts to make sure everything in my kitchen was installed, mounted, hooked up and attached as designed. He spent the time needed and very much effort on being exact, since this was one of our pet peeves from the beginning. We wanted exact work, to the millimeter from start to finish and that is exactly what we received. We are now owners of a new, beautiful, solid, practical and perfect kitchen. We are happy customers and will come back for the next "impossible" project which Remodel Works (Nick Dohrman, Chris Garcia, Scanco) surely will make possible for us. Thank you all.

I had a shower and two vanities remodeled in my master bath. The biggest problem with my project is that I had to do the quality checking myself. The installers would come and do their piece of the project then move on so there was no one checking to see if the work was done right. When I pointed out what needed to be corrected, someone would address it, but there were several things that needed to be redone, e.g., incorrect placement of a mirror, vanity drawer misaligned, vent not piped correctly, unmatched beveling on mirror and vanities at different heights.. While I really like the concept of having a written project plan, not all materials were available when they were needed. Vendor issues delayed some products by months. The drawings were not updated so a couple of errors were made because the installers and I had an outdated drawing. What was particular concerning, is that we raised issues with the project manager, designer and sales manager during the project. Yet, at the end of the project when we expressed our concerns again, the operations team didn't have any knowledge of the issues. I had hoped to refer Remodel Works to my neighbors for their upcoming projects but the quality and reliability were not up to my standards.

We recently finished a fairly large remodel of the kitchen in our home. When we began looking at design possibilities, options and contractors, Remodel Works was recommended by a neighbor of ours. Once we had made the decision to proceed, we chose Remodel Works as our contractor. This proved to be a great choice. Aleigh came out to our home to look at the space, take measurements and discuss our ideas. We then met at the office to look at some renderings of what the finished job might look like. We were very happy with what we saw and signed the contract at that visit. Once the design was detailed, we met Ryan and Aleigh at the office/showroom to review what they had come up with. It was obvious that they had listened to what we wanted, as we only requested a minor change. Then on to choosing cabinets, countertops, fixtures, tile and all the other things that would make this kitchen complete. Aleigh was very helpful to make this selection process much easier than we thought. The showroom really proved to be a great help as it allowed us to visualize what the finished product would look like. A schedule was put together, that showed what tasks would take place and who would be working in the house on every day. We were impressed by this, but even more impressed by the adherence to the schedule. There was no unexplained delays or other problems getting this project complete and having the detailed schedule made working with Remodel Works a breeze. We cannot say enough good things about the onsite team that made this happen. Our Project Manager Nick Dohrmann, was very friendly, experienced and professional. He visited the job frequently and was always available to us. The way that he managed the project made us very comfortable that we had indeed made the right choice choosing Remodel Works for this job. Also, Chris Garcia, Chris DeSilva, Michael Girmaud, Danial, Jose Ortega, and Marcos, were all very professional and skilled craftsmen. At the beginning of the job, materials were used to protect flooring and surrounding areas, and plastic sheeting was used to minimize dust in the rest of the house. Each day, the techs that were scheduled, arrived on time and the work that was scheduled to be completed was. At the end of each day, time was allotted to cleanup and we were told what time to expect them in the morning. All very professional. Also, these guys are just nice guys to be around! In the end, a final walk with Nick was completed to make sure that everything met not only our expectations, but also the quality standards of Remodel Works. Also, Aleigh came to the house to view the finished kitchen. Our experience with Remodel Works turned out to be very positive, from the very first day we met, until completion. The entire Remodel Works staff is very courteous, professional and skilled. They show that they care about customer satisfaction with every step of the remodeling process. We could not be any happier with our new kitchen. We highly recommend working with Remodel Works, and if we have future projects, Remodel Works will definitely be asked to come back to our house.

As with any big job we obtained three bids from separate remodeling contracting companies in the San Diego area to remodel two of our upstairs bathrooms. We knew we were looking at a fair estimate when each of the bids came within $1000 of one another for what turned out to be over a $50,000 job, but it left us with a the harder task on how to decide which to go with. But the designer we met with at Remodel Works made the decision a bit easier by the effort he went into drafting up the most detailed plan that gave us the best idea of what we could expect. That and an excellent showroom providing a wide variety of cabinet, tile and accessory options to chose from. It turned out we made the right decision. The project manager provided us with a detailed daily schedule of who would be out on what day and what they would be doing. Their workers are skilled artisans that transformed our bathrooms into a work of art that we can now be proud of. Of course with any job there are unexpected issues that come up, but the project manager was always accessible and saw to it that the corrections were quickly and properly addressed. Our next project, to remodel the kitchen and downstairs. Remodel Works will definitely be on our list of bids.

We originally used Remodel Works in 2013 for a small bathroom makeover, we actually left the country while the work was being done but came back to a fully completed project done to the highest standards. Therefore it was not a difficult decision to use them again for our major remodel of our Kitchen and 2 more bathrooms that we recently completed. We worked with Eric on the designs, and he was very knowledgeable and had some great ideas, nothing was ever too much trouble for him, despite me making several changes to the designs meaning he had to redo the drawings several times. They were both very responsive to any question I had, flexible and easy to work with on any mid-remodel changes we made. I just finished a kitchen remodel by Remodel Works. I could not be happier with the results, nor more impressed with the process! It started with the designer, Jen. She was fabulous to work with, she listened to my ideas and added her considerable expertise to make the design perfect. After the design process, the job was assigned to a project manager who double-checked everything about the design from the installation perspective. Royce Ramswick was the manager on my job. He is very detail-oriented, which I appreciate! From that meeting, he scheduled all of the crews that would be necessary to complete the job. At the onset of the job, I received a schedule listing what would be accomplished daily and the name of the person(s) who would be at the house that day. They stayed completely on schedule and the workmanship and demeanor of the work crews was exemplary.

We engaged Remodel Works to help us design and completely remodel our kitchen. We purchased our home in Vista a year ago and the kitchen was a constant irritation, mismatched cabinets, electric cook top and paint that was all wrong for a kitchen. We hired Remodel Works in January 2016 to do a complete remodel of our 1980s kitchen. From start to finish, the process was stress-free and professional. The process started with Eric, our salesman, designing a layout for us while including all the items from our wish list including removing a soffit and raising the ceiling. He warned us of some problems we might encounter and the cost involved. When working with Remodel Works, they give you the cost in the beginning so there are no extra surprises. The remodel including moving a gas pipe and complete re-wiring went smoothly thanks to the excellent workmanship and leadership of our project manager, Nick. Nick went above and beyond in his role. He even made visits on his own time to deliver material and recheck work. I especially loved that Nick was on site daily to check with the workers and instruct them on the project. I highly recommend Remodel Works and will happily rehire them for future projects.

I used Remodel Works to remodel my kitchen and 3 bathrooms. 2010 they remodeled the kitchen, master bath, and converted the downstairs half bath to a full bath. I was so pleased with the professionalism and no hassle experience, I hired them in 2016 to remodel a guest bath plus add some garage reinforcement and code upgrades. Mary Jennings was the designer on both projects. Her demeanor and expertise are exemplary. Patrick Luich and Seth Woolsey were the project managers. They did a spectacular job of keeping everyone informed and on time. All the technicians were high quality and friendly. My husband was very skeptical of all contractors but Remodel Works came through on every promise and delivered us a kitchen that we love! They give you a daily schedule of what will be done and by whom and they stuck to it. No other contractor offered us that. Their workers are clean and polite (even our neighbors commented on that) and most importantly, highly skilled. When problems came up (as they always will in a project), they were taken care of quickly and to our satisfaction. They didn't nickle'n'dime us...the only additional costs were additions to the project that we requested. Remodel Works Bath and Kitchen did an excellent job remodeling our powder bath. The design team suggest the wall mounted faucet and I love it! The actual demo/construction took place on the exact dates outlined on detailed schedule. Great care was taken to protect our hardwood floors, minimize dust and overall inconvenience. All of the employees are polite, friendly and communicative. This was truly the easiest remodel we have ever done!

My designer was Mara and project manager was Seth. They are very friendly and professional. They respond to my request on a intimidatingly via email/phone. The process was really smooth. Unlike some of general contractors which you might need to pay attention to every small details, I was pretty much hands off after the in depth discussion with the designer and the project manager.

The completed work was excellent - 5 Star. The crew was also excellent and completed everything on time in some instances, early - 5 Star. The design and subcontractors were all excellent - 5 Star. The only reason I deducted 1 star was the initial sales process. I did not agree with some of the sale tactics.

Great job completed within all time frames stated at the beginning of the process. We were confident that the work would be finished to our satisfaction. At no time did we feel like our job wasn't important even though it was not a large job. They were patient with our questions and emails.

Complete remodel of hallway bathroom. We had eight days from the close of escrow until we moved in for Remodel to complete the work. We knew it was a tall order and they pulled it off. Kudos!

We gutted and redmodeled two bathrooms. The work in one of them was 98% satisfactory, in the other 95%, but they did come out for some touch-up. The only unfixed flaw was in several floor tiles which were laid with uneven thinset, so you can hear a hollow sound when you rap on them, or if a hard shoe walks on them. The best thing about this company is a published, efficient work schedule, which they kept to...both rooms were finished in about 3 weeks. We have another bathroom and will probably hire them to do that one as well.

Remodel works performed a "kitchen remodel" for us. They installed granite countertops with a backsplash and glass tile border and installed a new range hood. They were extremely professional and were able to identify vendors that we could work with to choose granite, backsplash and the glass tile border. They provided suggestions, when asked, as to appropriate options. The project manager gave us a detailed 3 week installation schedule which they kept to with only minor changes which we were made aware of immediately. I'd hire them again in a minute!

Remodel Works, in consultation with me, designed the remodel job, and performed the work efficiently and on time. The job included facing for all the drawers and cupboards, installing new granite countertops, installing under counter lighting, and installing new appliances (sink, refrigerator, built-in oven and microwave), and installing new floor covering. My husband and I hired Remodel Works after an extensive (and exhaustive) research to find the right contractor to remodel our kitchen just a year ago. I am sure that we were not easy to work with as we had very specific design ideas but once I found out that the designer ,Ryan, had actually designed one of the kitchens that I ripped out of a magazine, I took it as a good sign.
