We hired Remodeling Consultants in September 2020 to gut renovate the extremely dated kitchen, dining room and two full bathrooms in a house we had just purchased. Initially drawn to the Company based on a friend's recommendation and for their one-stop-shop design and build services, we have nothing but great things to say about the entire team and process, particularly during the time of COVID. The design was thoughtful and innovative, transforming a space we had not even envisioned using into a gorgeous kitchen. The entire process - a complete renovation of essentially half of our home, including all new plumbing, electric and HVAC - took less than three months to complete and was very close to our original budget. Though we had a few issues, mostly with subcontractors, Jerry, one of the owners of the Company, personally addressed and promptly rectified most of these issues himself - a personal touch that we very much appreciated. The construction team was courteous, professional and maintained high standards of both COVID protocols and cleanliness throughout the process. We cannot say enough about our foreman, Besi - one of the absolute greats on both a personal and professional level. We will absolutely be using Remodeling Consultants to complete further renovations on our home in the future!

Remodeling Consultants is a terrific partner for any renovation project. From the owner, Jerry Zaccaria to Richard Davis who designed an exceptional kitchen, patio, mudroom and bathroom addition - we couldn’t have asked for a better crew! The carpenters, Joe and Jordan worked tirelessly to craft a one of a kind renovation for us with great attention to detail. Even with myriad questions peppered at them each day, Joe and Jordan were thorough, patient and focused on delivering a great product. Remodeling during a pandemic was tricky to say the least, but I wouldn’t have done this with any other company than Remodeling Consultants. They followed all of the necessary precautions from temperature checks and masks to building temporary walls and entrances (for everyone’s safety). WOW! That one word captures our excellent experience with RCI for a renovation of 1.5 baths. We interviewed several different contractors for quality, timeliness, and for price, and after careful consideration chose RCI. This was the best decision that we could have made! We have done several renovations over the past 28 years living in our house in Larchmont, and without a doubt our experience with RCI was the best. Rick was fantastic. First of all, he listened. One of our big concerns was knowing that the project would finish on time. Once he understood this, he walked us through our options in detail, presented very thorough plans, suggested vendors, and accompanied us to showrooms to make appliance, tile and fixture selections. With the selections made, we reiterated that the project needed to be completed by Thanksgiving. We agreed on a start date, and Rick agreed the project would be done by our target date The crew that came was terrific! They were clean, on time, and efficient. Yuri, the project manager, was communicative and responsive. When there were changes to the plan based on site considerations or unexpected modifications, Yuri and the team were incredibly gracious and effective. He was regularly on-site and checking the progress of the project. Amazingly, they completed the project early! We used Remodeling Consultants to help us finish our basement. For homeowners like ourselves who are not handy around the house, they took care of everything...and did it within the budget we set for them. It was a real relief that the process was so easy. Just as importantly, though, we are thrilled with the finished product. Our basement is a beautiful space for us and for our guests and it's safe (Remodeling Consultants created an egress window for us to bring the space up to code). Of course the work was done during the Covid period and all of the workers were professional, courteous and mindful our health and safety. Finally, I would be remiss not to mention that the team stuck to the timeline they set out for us. After hearing horror stories about projects dragging for months from friends who used other contractors, the Remodeling Consultant team was in an out of our home in a couple of weeks.

We recently finished our second project with Remodeling Consultants. Just like the first time, when we did our kitchen, we got so much more out of our space than we thought possible. Our master bathroom now has a freestanding tub in addition to a good-sized shower, and our hall bath now has a double vanity. Even with the expanded footprint, it took very clever design to make that work. We also added a room in our living area, and you can't tell the difference between the new and old wood floor at all, which is something I was concerned about. The project itself moved along quickly - the team of carpenters and the foreman were at our property virtually every weekday until the job was complete. They guided us through the process, all the way from design plans to inspections. The initial consultation and draft design are free, so if you are thinking of doing a project there is no risk in sitting down with them. Our design consultant was Richard Davis, and we highly recommend him.

Remodeling Consultants built us a beautiful new full bathroom in our finished basement. Very high quality, very professional. Rick is extraordinarily well organized, and there are no surprise costs or delays. Everything happened exactly according to the schedule he gave us at the outset. His team was courteous and professional, and especially conscientious in this time of COVID. We would highly recommend them, and would absolutely use them again for other projects in our home.

I decided to go with RCI because it was an all-inclusive design and build - which, as a first time modeler, was essential for me. the project was a gut renovation and 200 sq ft extension for breakfast room, mudroom and powder room. The design part was a very organized and pleasant experience. Rick and his assistant, Karen, were fabulous to work with. They were responsive and walked me through every step. Rick accompanied me to shop for many of the finishings, and I was very happy with the results. The project proceeded on time and on budget. The team was responsive when there were problems, including rectifying an issue that caused a flood in the basement after a very heavy rain. COVID delayed the final work on the project (not RCI's fault). In fact, they rushed to get the electric and water turned on the Monday after Cuomo stopped all non-essential construction (which excluded plumbers and electricians, thankfully). Keith checked with me on finishings before making them. There were a few issues that RCI needed to come back to fix over the several months after contractors could restart work post lockdown-an electrical issue that persisted but got fixed ultimately, some external door issues and some other aesthetic things that were fixed rather easily. Dave was responsive whenever I contacted him, and would either coordinate with Jerry or Jerry would contact me directly to sort out the issues. Overall my I love my new space!

We hired Remodeling Consultants to add a front porch to our home and it was worth every penny. Our plans were initiated before the pandemic and we were impressed from the first meeting. Once the pandemic hit, we were so thankful to have RC's expertise in navigating the permits and scheduling. After work got underway, it was all hands on deck until completion and from the moment the flooring went in, we haven't stopped loving the porch! Kevin and George, as well as our foreman Yuriy and other workers, were always friendly and courteous. The work they did was excellent and we know this porch will be enjoyed (and last) for decades to come. Our neighbors continually comment that it looks like the porch was always there and is meant to be. What better complement to the entire RC team?! With two young boys at home, it was an added bonus to have front row seats to the day-to-day construction work. It wasn't long before our sons undertook their own projects, hammering together all the scraps they could find at the end of each day. RC graciously worked while they were "watched closely" and kindly contributed to the scrap pile. It's worth mentioning that the project took an unexpected turn when it came to removing the previous front step and despite what was undoubtedly a frustrating (and physically laborious) hurdle, RC handled it with grace and professionalism. As the clients, we could not have asked for a better experience than what we had with RC, beginning to end. Thank you RC!

After a lot of research into various construction groups online, we decided to use Remodeling Consultants on our home project in Pelham. What initially gravitated us to using them was that they have an architect and construction crew under one roof. This did make for a very seamless process. Richard, our initial contact and lead designer, is very knowledgeable, had great ideas, and was a lot of fun to work with. Everything was laid out in a very professional and orderly manor so there were no surprises on the process. Of course, our first week of demolition work coincided with the first COVID outbreak so that would put a wrench in our timeline (with the whole NY state shutdown and all...). Although the process took longer than anticipated (by no fault of their own), everyone was extremely hard working, friendly, ethical, and cared about doing the job right and making us happy. Yuri, our project manager, was extremely dedicated to making sure everything was done properly and to our satisfaction. A shout out to Frank and Valentine for doing great work and teaching me a thing or two about construction. The project came out exactly as we hoped for, and the people / company were great to work with. I would definitely work with them again for our future projects. The one piece of constructive criticism my wife and I would give, is that it would be extremely helpful and stress lifting if they were to oversee the drywall tapers/mudding.

Prior to the pandemic-related lockdowns, we hired Remodeling Consultants to convert the semi-finished sunroom off our dining room into a finished study room and office. This was our second project with RC. We are thrilled again with their outstanding work and would recommend them unreservedly to anyone looking for any remodeling project. The scope of our project was to replace a pair of swing doors with a set of pocket doors, insulating and replacing the ceiling and floor for the sunroom, and installing a custom desk for our children. Every person involved in the work arrived promptly, was unfailingly polite and helpful, and happily would pause work whenever we had a question to explain whatever they were doing and how it fit into the plan. The RC crew was always friendly and polite and easy to talk to, which was welcomed considering that we were living in our house during the construction. Finally, we would like to single out for special commendation the foreman for the job, Mike. He was attentive and tidy to an extreme degree. It was very easy to discuss all aspects of the construction with him, as he would listen patiently to any question of ours and answer with care and thoughtfulness. We were completely happy with the process and would not think of hiring anyone else to do any further remodeling work for our house in the future.

We hired Remodeling Consultants for a two-story addition that included a complete remodel of our kitchen and master bed/bath. From design to completion, RCI was very professional. They worked with us through several iterations of detailed plans until we were satisfied we had the layout we wanted. They help guide us through the selection of everything from tiles and lighting to hardware and wood finishes. The construction crews were on time every morning, polite, and very skilled. The crews worked very efficiently and the project would probably have been done ahead of schedule had there not been a pandemic that shut us down for two months. Even with that, RCI stayed in touch with us and as soon as they were allowed to start back up, they had the crew back onsite and were able to pick up right where they left off. We are very happy with the end result of their hard work and would definitely recommend them.

If you require remodeling and you contract with a company other than Remodeling Consultants, you have made a mistake. We decided to remodel a master bathroom. Alan, of Remodeling Consultants made detailed plans and cost estimates and then personally guided us through the selection of tiles for floor and walls, bathroom fittings, sinks, taps, shelves and finishes. There were thousands of items to choose from, and without his help and experience we would have been helpless. The project started on time and we were introduced to Kevin, a master carpenter, who made things disappear into a skip, positioned on the driveway, and then reappear in pristine condition. Walls moved, doors reappeared and fittings were plumbed without any mess in the rest of the house. Jerry supervised the whole project. Scheduling and coordinating the various trades and resolving the myriad of small problems, requires experience and personal connections. Everything ran smoothly and the project was completed on time
