Ricci Design Build

We had the pleasure of working with Adam Ricci and the team at Ricci Design Build on several projects at our Concord, Mass home over the last 10 years, including a major renovation of the second floor. We could not be more pleased with the results, and the space has continued to exceed our expectations over the years. The renovation transformed the second floor into a beautiful and highly functional retreat, including a spacious primary suite with an ensuite bathroom, a guest room that now serves as a home office, and a second full bathroom. One of our favorite features is the large picture window overlooking the trees. Waking up each morning to the surrounding landscape gives the room an almost tree-house-like feeling and creates a wonderful sense of connection with nature. The architecture of our home presented some unusual design challenges, particularly the sloped, non-dormered side of the second floor. Adam and his team approached those challenges with remarkable creativity and sophistication. They found ways to incorporate generous, beautifully designed closets into spaces that might otherwise have been difficult to use. The result is not only visually appealing but exceptionally practical—something we continue to appreciate every day. The quality of the workmanship was outstanding. Ten years later, the renovation has aged beautifully, with the craftsmanship and materials continuing to look and perform as well as they did when the project was completed. Just as importantly, the entire Ricci team was professional, meticulous, courteous, and respectful of our home throughout the process. Adam brought a thoughtful combination of design sensibility, technical expertise, and genuine attention to detail. He understood how to balance aesthetics with functionality and consistently focused on the small decisions that ultimately made such a significant difference in the finished space. We would recommend Ricci Design Build without hesitation to anyone considering a renovation. Looking back after ten years, what stands out most is how much we continue to love the space Adam and his team created for us. It has become one of our favorite places in our home—a place where we begin each morning surrounded by the trees and where we continue to enjoy the thoughtfulness, beauty, and craftsmanship of the renovation every day. We are truly grateful to Adam and his team for helping create a space that has become such a meaningful part of our home and our lives.

We worked w/ Adam to do a complete redo of our bathroom. He and his team are fantastic. Communicated well, did a great job, and we're very happy with the results.

RDB helped us extensively in getting our home from 1888 updated -- they helped oversee installation of a French drain, concrete around the house for flood protection, redoing old and unsafe electrical, fixing out of code plumbing, building a new wall and built-ins, painting, and more. They are wonderful to work with and will help your vision come to life. They are professional, respectful, good communicators, and all around great to work with! Highly recommend!

Adam and his team are exceptional. Adam is so professional, loyal, honest and so easy to work with. He is so talented and has the eye to do whatever is needed. He truly does whatever it takes to make the job come out beautiful. No matter how big or small the job is he puts in 100 percent to make sure everything comes out perfect. He treats each job the same know matter how big it is. We had a very big job. Adam coordinated everything and his team made it all happen. It was a huge job that included floors, painting, fixing walls, putting in a very complicated door and plumbing. Adam would personally come to check on everything constantly as we were not home. He is truly the best. Highly recommend

We’ve used Adam for a number of projects over the years. He is consistently reliable, efficient and easy to work with. His team shows up when they say they will, communicates clearly about timeline and costs, and does quality work that he stands behind without cutting corners. It’s rare to find a contractor who’s both skilled and one you can trust. We’d recommend him without hesitation and plan to keep using him for future projects.

Ricci Design was a pleasure to work with a couple of years ago. They handled two smaller projects for me, as well as one fairly complicated issue, and the work was superb. Everyone was professional and respectful of my home, especially mindful of the fact that I worked from home, and they left everything spotless when they were finished. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Ricci Design again and will definitely be calling them for my next renovation.

Adam is the best! We have worked with him on multiple projects. Our first was a condo in Beacon Hill for a full kitchen renovation, bathrooms, hardwood floor refinishing, etc. Adam and the project manager overseeing projects were extremely professional, responsive and really nice to work with. And all of Adam’s subs are great. Also, team was very considerate of others living in our building. We got no complaints. Finally, Adam goes above and beyond. If we’ve had an issue in our home unrelated to anything Adam worked on, he’s helped us if he can. Like I said, Adam is the best!

I loved working with Adam Ricci and his entire team. He has done various projects for me over the years, including a kitchen renovation, two bathrooms, heat pump installation, and new windows. The quality of the work is excellent. In addition, he is always communicative, willing to talk through projects, and simply a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him!

Dan and the rest of the employees were very kind, professional and attentive. Adam Ricci is very personable and made himself available for any questions. He was very understanding of our needs and came up with creative and specific solutions. They have my highest recommendation without reservations.

Ricci Design Build successfully completed a complex condominium renovation within a high-end residential tower in Boston. From the outset, Adam Ricci and his team demonstrated a strong understanding of the unique challenges associated with working in an occupied residential building, including strict rules, regulations, and limited construction hours. Throughout the project, the team was consistently professional, responsive, and collaborative. They brought a high level of expertise and problem-solving ability to the process, proactively addressing challenges as they arose and offering thoughtful, cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. Their attention to detail and clear communication helped ensure a smooth experience from start to finish. The $300,000 renovation was completed on schedule and under budget, a testament to Ricci Design Build’s careful planning, craftsmanship, and commitment to client satisfaction. I would highly recommend Ricci Design Build for both small- and large-scale projects, particularly for clients who value quality construction, disciplined budget management, and a dependable, experienced team.
