As a contractor, we like working for people that run their jobs efficiently, that do what they say they are going to do, and treat you with respect. The folks at Riemco are truly nice people who know their business very well and build a great product.

Riemco did a great job reimagining our kitchen and two bathrooms spaces and were professional from beginning to end. This was our first time we ever took on a remodeling project so we had a lot of questions and were naturally apprehensive about the process, the cost, the time and the inconvenience of a project of this magnitude, especially since we needed to live and continue to navigate around the house during the work. Rob, Ron and the whole team were accommodating and communicated really well about what to expect. I was impressed about their level of detail in their prework 3D renderings and how amazingly accurate they were with the final project. They also did a great job understanding our goals and priorities for each room, which helped come up with great solutions on how to use the existing space wisely. I felt that they had both the expertise and experience to take our project as they showed us similar jobs they did. I was also impressed with the level of detail they put into the work. Ron identified issues during construction well before we did, was transparent about everything and always made it right. We also appreciated Riemco’s coordination with Big George’s appliance store. Although supply chain issues resulted in delivery of a sub zero fridge well after the completion of the work, Riemco was present on the day of installation to make sure it everything fit appropriately. Our project was not cheap but all costs were well itemized, options were provided and at the end of the day Reimco stayed under our original budget. At the end of the day, Riemco always made sure they “made it right”, which gave us the reassurance we needed during the job and the confidence to use them again for our next project.

I couldn't be more pleased with the planning, collaboration and expert advice Riemco provided for me on a very extensive home renovation project. We took a wonderful vintage house and updated it to become a lovely, inviting home that our family will enjoy for years to come. It would not have been possible without Riemco and we appreciate their partnership and vision.

From the initial concept/design consultation to the "now we're living in it!" stage, our entire experience with Riemco Design + Build exceeded our every expectation. Thoughtful effort went into the upfront design phase, with the architectural and interior recommendations being additive to the form & function of the finished space. Riemco's entire team worked seamlessly to ensure that our meeting/review time together was focused and on track with projected timelines. A key requirement for our family was preserving the architectural taste and intent of the original 1952 design, while bringing the needed updates to serve our purposes as we age; this essential goal was accomplished-and much more. Throughout the entire process, Riemco made client education a consistent priority-and it was truly appreciated by us all.

Riemco just completed the second project they have done for us, the first being a remodel of a solarium in another home in 2006. This time they remodeled two bathrooms for us: a cosmetic update to a half bath including a new tile floor, new plumbing fixtures and fresh paint and secondly a master bathroom. The master bathroom required more work including replacing the regular door with a pocket door, replacing a significant portion of the sub flooring due to leaks, rebuilding the shower area from the studs out, new floor and shower tile, a new commode, and rearranging the location of the shower fixtures. The installation of the pocket door required moving a cold air return to another wall and an electrical outlet to another location. Additional overhead lighting was also installed along with grab bars and towel bars. The transformation of both bathrooms was completed by skilled craftsmen, managed in a customer satisfying manner, earlier than projected at only 1% over the final estimate due to change orders, Needless to say, we are very pleased with the results and would use Riemco again if another need presented itself

We hired Riemco to tear down an aging lake house and replace it with a new custom home. The demolition of the old house began in the beginning of September 2021, and the new home was finished and handed over in May of 2022. Even with the supply chain issues happening around the world Riemco was able to finish the project as specified, and ahead of schedule. Throughout the project Riemco communicated with us on a regular basis, and responded to our questions and concerns immediately. The Riemco building and design process is very well orchestrated. Their attention to detail is outstanding. Riemco personnel were extremely instrumental in helping us make design decisions and selections necessary to maintain the project schedule. The design and selection process was enjoyable due to their guidance and experience. We are grateful for their insights, wisdom and patience. The beauty and quality of our homes craftsmanship is amazing. During the build there were numerous subcontractors on site. They were all friendly and very professional. All of them contributed to an amazing final product. We'd like to thank the whole Riemco team for making our new home a reality.

The initial process of our kitchen remodel commenced in September/October 2019 and that was a pleasant experience working once again with Peter and interior designer, Lauren, on developing a new kitchen for our lake house. The demolition of our old kitchen took place in February 2020 and then Covid hit and put a 2+month stop to our project. However the Riemco team still continued working online to make sure future products for our kitchen were being ordered and could be installed once the in-house work situation opened back up. Once again we were not living on site and were able to trust Riemco to oversee our shuttered house. Our kitchen was finally finished the end of July and it’s spectacular. I couldn’t be happier and I’d like to thank Rob, Peter, Ron, Lauren & all their contractors for a job well done. The project would have been done as scheduled in 3 months but due to Covid work shutdowns it took an extra 2 1/2 months. Anyway...thanks again, Riemco!

For us, the fall of 2019 was the beginning of two remodeling projects that we wanted to have done to our 1992 lake house and we were fortunate enough to hire Riemco to handle both of those jobs for us. The first remodel was to replace a 400 sq ft old wooden deck on our second level using Trex products. This wasn't a simple deck redo as they also installed a roofing barrier between that deck and the screened in porch below it. This project took place over November/December while we were away during that time. Everything was handled professionally and meticulously and we never had a worry about this entire outdoor project being done without us physically available on site. From the start with working with architect, Peter, to the finish, working with Ron, the construction manager, it was a seamless enterprise.

We had a great experience working with Riemco building our new home. They are friendly, honest and professional. Our house turned out great. We've been living in it for a few years now and it is clear that it was quality built. A few things stand out in particular from our experience with Riemco: First, Peter the architect was great to work with and really understood our style/vision. Second, they did an excellent job managing the construction timeline. They had a plan to complete construction in 6 months and they stuck to their plan. And finally, they demonstrated their trustworthiness throughout our build process. During our build, the municipal water connection rates changed, significantly lowering our costs to hook up to city water. Riemco was totally transparent with the change in costs and passed along those savings to us. I don't know that I would trust every builder to do the same. I highly recommend Riemco and would be happy to work with them again.

Too many friends have shared horror stories about cost overruns and massive delays with their custom built homes. Not enough subdivision houses looked all that appealing during our search. I am writing this recommendation for Riemco with profound enthusiasm because they have shown us a better way. We have lived in our Riemco-built house for about a year, and absolutely love it! We chose Riemco over other firms that we looked at because we were so impressed with their the process that they showed us. It was detailed and well documented, and as an engineer who designs multi-million dollar infrastructure projects, I knew that such a process is critical to delivering quality on time and on budget. The process delivered throughout our project. The process began with Peter designing our house, and Lauren designing the interior details. Peter was wonderful to work with, did an incredible job translating our paper sketch into a buildable plan. Lauren was also amazing, and spent a great deal of time sitting down with my wife to nail down interior details to our exact liking. The vendors that they sent us to, to select our materials were also wonderful to work with, and provided a great deal of help. Big George’s and Floor Traders deserve a special shout-out. As design wrapped up, we had a wonderful experience working with Ron during construction. This was where the process continued to payoff, as the we did not encounter any surprises. Ron was great about answering our questions and keeping things on track, as was Rob—who is an incredibly knowledgeable, hands-on owner. I was particularly impressed at the thought that he put into materials and techniques, and how he was constantly looking for ways to improve and deliver the best. The end result, however, is the ultimate argument in favor of both Riemco and its process. Our house is incredible. From the details of design that Peter and Lauren preformed so brilliantly, to the quality of construction that Ron oversaw, the house is amazing. There are so many wonderful things about—from the reduced demand on HVAC due to its solid thermal design, to the lack of wear that a typical house would experience, to the beautiful interiors that Lauren and Peter helped design, it is truly our dream home. We highly recommend Riemco for any new home construction, expansion, or restoration. The approach they showed us delivered quality beyond our wildest expectations. Understand that when one hires Riemco, they will not deliver a typical McMansion. Riemco delivers a truly solid, beautiful home built to the exact liking of the individual customer.

Riemco helped us choose our site, design our dream home, and built it. They were a pleasure to work with. It almost felt like you were working with family and they wanted the house to be just as perfect as we did. Peter and Lauren would meet with us at the oddest times to review plans and decor because when we started our home designing we were actually living overseas and were working with them through Skype. They made this terribly complex process simple and enjoyable. I would use them again if I ever have to sell my forever home.

We hired Riemco for our home remodel project which included renovating a portion of our existing 1836 home (combining two rooms into a master suite) as well as demolishing and rebuilding an addition off the back to include a full basement, living, dining, kitchen, and mud room space. Their in-house architect, Peter, was excellent to work with in planning the new layout and reworking the existing layout to accommodate a master suite. He was happy to make adjustments to our needs and really listened when we talked about how we lived and what we wanted to accomplish with the house. They estimated the project would take 4-6 months, and it took exactly 5 from the day we started tear down to the day we got our keys to move back in. We stopped by to check on progress nearly everyday and always found the crew hard at work and making surprisingly quick progress. Ron, the project manager, was always on top of the timeline and keeping an eye out for any potential hold ups. Overall we had an excellent experience and we'd highly recommend them.
